Flint沒有萬豪金殿的星級加持, 但作為酒店內的扒房, 它在牛扒的選擇並非最多, 但無論是提供的品種和做法, 除了比其他星級酒店扒房更便宜, 水準並不會差很遠, 所以相當抵食. 例如今次點的Restaurant Week套餐, 有鵝肝頭盤, 有很Rich的南瓜湯, 又來自澳洲的Striploin, 人均消費五六百元真的不能要求更多. 牛扒來自Jack’s Creek牧場, 除了在世界級的最佳牛肉比賽中屢奪殊榮, 更是第一家培植澳洲和牛的牧場, 當然我們吃的Black Angus, 肉香和嫩滑度在安格斯後來說也算是頂級, 而且烤得恰到好處, 才能夠保持內裏Medium的熟度之餘, 表面的脆香和沉實的坑紋, 也是出色牛扒的標記. 唯一的問題就是座位不是太多, 空間感不夠, 而且前後兩邊也變成了酒店的Lounge, 氣氛有點怪怪的.

想為老公慶生,左挑又挑,最終揀選了Flint有些擔心酒店食物質素,原來我是想多了,剛到步後,服務員的招待非常有禮,餐廳給人感覺很舒服和relax, 不像吃自助餐吵吵鬧鬧,食物餐牌在 QR code 上可見,4道菜還有飲品,食物質素非常好,龍蝦湯很特別,前菜叫了帶子和parma ham,非常好吃! 主菜質素和份量也令吃驚!燒牛扒、燒龍蝦、燒豬鞍、大蝦King Size意粉,甜品有新鮮水果、tiramisu, 我們4人吃也不用$1000一位,相當超值! 老公大讚我安排好!令他非常滿意!

我一直相信在美麗的地方用餐能增強整體體驗,JW萬豪酒店的餐廳絕對符合這個要求。氣氛迷人,使其成為用餐的完美場所。麵包送上時暖暖的,新鮮的,不過我更喜歡加入大塊牛油以提升體驗。前菜味道不錯,但缺乏層次感,使我想要更多複雜的風味。不過,牛排煮得恰到好處——這是一個簡單但常常具有挑戰性的成就。很明顯廚房知道如何處理好的肉類。另一方面,海鮮意粉擁有各種美味的海鮮,但我難以品嚐到它的新鮮感。儘管我確信它是新鮮的,但調味料掩蓋了海洋的自然風味。甜點呈現得美觀且甜美,但和整餐一樣,它未能達到我所期望的深度。總的來說,儘管環境令人驚艷,但食物有潛力取得更高的成就。

主菜是美國肋眼扒配蘆筍、薯蓉和特製醬汁。因為不想吃薯蓉,落單時請侍應把薯蓉換成蘆筍,上菜時侍應也沒用搞混同伴和我的餐點👍🏻

牛扒上枱後,侍應提供了4種芥末醬(English mustard, Dijon mustard, horseradish 和grainy mustard),每種都要了點來試試看。牛扒表面帶燒過的格紋,點了五成熟,中間的肉熟度剛好,牛扒的邊位雖然無可避免地會較熟,但燒得非常焦香,牛脂肪呈半融狀而入口即化,加上濃郁的牛肉味,比中心較嫩的部位更好吃。肋眼扒有硬口,厚切而大塊,可惜較多筋,但牛味濃郁而且份量十足(感覺上比8oz還要多),整塊吃下非常滿足。

甜點是雪葩,配上的每樣原素都做得到位:Raspberry sorbet果味濃郁;士多啤梨果醬甜度適中,果醬帶原粒果肉,添了多一重口感;crumble酥脆而滿溢濃濃的牛油香;在杯底的Penna cotta尤為出色,凝固用的gelatine 份量控制精準,質地做得軟滑、入口即化而奶味香濃。每樣原素獨立吃都好吃,但當整個配搭一次過品嚐,penna cotta的軟滑和奶香、士多啤梨醬的清甜、crumble 的酥脆和牛油香、配上畫龍點睛的sorbet的酸甜和冰凍,入口不但層次豐富,清新的果味更巧妙地平衡了濃重的奶香,非常好吃!在吃掉一整塊牛扒後來一點酸甜,解膩又圓滿。還真值得為了這道看似簡單,但做得近乎完美的甜品再訪。

整體餐點都看得出餐廳的誠意,食材和調味配搭高質;服務更是細心而禮貌,用餐體驗非常良好。
