一生總有一次直擊賽馬賽事,今日中午來到沙田馬場,一邊睇賽馬一邊自助餐,頗有氣氛。半自助午餐收費$438,食物款式不算多,勝在環境靚,又有馬睇。海鮮類。凍海鮮有蝦、青口、螺、魚生等,款式多味道鮮甜,蝦肉爽口彈牙,吃出陣陣甘甜味,青口較鞋,但海水咸香,最欣賞魚生,有厚身三文魚和甜蝦,魚香濃郁,蝦肉甜嫩。沙律款式更為吸引。野菌長通粉、墨西哥白豆、火雞火腿、自選沙律菜。款款味道爽脆新鮮,我較欣賞野菌長通粉的味道,彈牙通粉伴以欖油野菌,菌味突出濃香。麵包類。多款咸甜麵包、果撻,杏仁片牛角酥最得我心,片片杏仁香口香脆,牛角酥酥脆香口,內裡有滿滿蘋果蓉,一口吃下去非常豐富,清甜不膩。各款麵包、法包可以親自焗熱,伴上牛油和果醬食用。自選奄列。廚師親自製作奄列,可以自選配料。我全部都有,包括火腿、蕃茄、洋蔥、芝士、蘑菇、莞茜,加上海鹽和黑椒,炒蛋滑溜香濃,半熟蛋入口嫩香滑溜,餡料咸香豐富。⋯一邊吃一邊看到窗外賽馬情況,非常出色滿足。

雖然已很飽,但甜品時間的甜品如此吸引,BeautySearch 又怎可錯過!最後我選了「砵酒朱古力奶燉忌廉」、「開心果仁及紅桑子奶凍」、「多莉仙朱古力餅」、「焦糖朱古力餅條」、「榛子朱古力餅」及「黑莓茶香泡芙」 (由上起,順時針)。特別推介「焦糖朱古力餅條」及「榛子朱古力餅」,雖然同時朱古力餅,但口感與味道截然不同,前者香軟,口感細甜,朱古力味雖不屬濃郁,但搭配焦糖及香脆的餅底,卻非常味美;後者有如一顆大朱古力,外皮朱古力十分脆口,內裡則藏著煙韌的榛子朱醬,十分可口,值得一試。

賣相不錯,炒蘑姑也蠻香的啦,食落不算油,不錯;芥末西子汁帶有點點甜的,放在豬柳上實在不錯;豬柳有夠多有夠厚啦,初初配著芥末西子汁吃,感覺蠻不錯的,但後來愈吃愈鹹,我最後吃剩了一大塊呀…..這部分令我對這道菜大打節扣。

這碟子上的是蘋果批跟芝士蛋糕,這兩件相比起之前的甜品,這兩件甜品的分數會比較高。蘋果批的外層也蠻鬆脆的,入面的蘋果酸甜度剛好,再加上雲呢拿醬,令甜度提升,但一點也不會膩;至於芝士蛋糕嘛,低糖感覺更健康,口感沒正常糖分的軟,但質感依然滑滑的,且味道還不錯的。

這是櫻桃開心果雪糕,蠻有趣的,我是看著廚師煮櫻桃的,所以這是暖暖的,開心果雪夠也算滑的,而且也蠻香口,兩者一凍一暖,加上兩者的味道本來也蠻有個性的,所以配合起來也挺特別的~

當日這家餐廳有特別活動,各位食客可以跟工作人員登記,齊齊走到最前的馬圈觀看賽馬。雖然並不是第一次走落馬圈,但每次都覺得很期待的。隔著電視看賽馬,總有點不想看的感覺,但現場的話,就想多看一回,兩種感覺截然不同啦~

最多人主攻莫過於海鮮,海蝦、東風螺、青口等,完全是客人吸晴之物。成為搶手貨亦是第一樣,餐廳都非常識做好快添加海鮮;果然有效率。東風螺細細粒,肉質會較嫩不過食用時要小心拉出;如果唔係有失儀態吧。青口鮮甜十足,雖然沒有紐西蘭那麼大隻;但味道已經貼近也不錯。三款海鮮都鮮甜味美,大愛的莫過於海蝦,每隻都肥美多膏,滋味無比。

另外沙律吧,款式都相當多而且更有四款醬汁供客人還擇。沙律可作為大餐前墊底除了基本的生菜外,更有薯仔、煙蕃茄長通粉、紅菜頭、西蘭花沙律等。其中有紅桑子油醋汁,健康一點之餘亦沒那麼膩。刺身方面一共有四款,三文魚、吞拿魚、甜蝦及八爪魚;店員更有更有溫馨提示"魚生與其他食物要分開擺放"可見用心及保持新鮮。肥切三文魚及吞拿魚不僅魚質鮮味,入口溶化。甜蝦及八爪魚鮮味十足,甜蝦是我的最愛可以盡吃一番。

The orzo was cooked with seafood stock which was in a rich yellowish orange colour. It absorbed all the stock therefore the orzo itself was pretty salty and I would prefer a lighter version of pasta if possible.

My favourite dessert so far, the housemade pastachio ice cream has a nice nutty flavour but not too sweet, while the cherry jubilee was prepared freshly by heating it up from the pan, the warm and cold contradiction was very pleasant. The cherry was big and juicy, the juicy just bursts out as soon as you bite into it, and it went nicely with the light ice cream. I would love to have more of it.

星期日和朋友們去馬場玩,馬場內有不少餐廳讓一班馬迷邊吃邊看賽馬。我們就選擇了馬場內的Hay Market 餐廳,貪這裡提供半自助餐,可以無限添食這裏環境十分優美,而且座位舒適,還提供電視觀賞馬匹賽事,不用到外面都可看到賽果。這裏設有多款麵包冷盤芝士,每款都新鮮美味,而且香脆鬆軟,我也吃了不少頭盤。還有多款咸火腿,水果鮮甜多汁,令胃口大開。另外還有冷凍海鮮、沙律及刺身,款式雖不多,但每款都很新鮮,而且不停refill,有充分提供。刺身肥美厚身,肉質鮮美新鮮,冷凍蝦肉質彈牙扎實,很鮮甜。這裏是半自助餐形式,因此每人有一個main course選擇。我選擇了香煎皇帝蝦及帶子伴海皇湯米型粉,帶子比較細粒,但口感嫩滑,皇帝蝦很大隻,而且還帶有一點蝦膏,肉質彈牙,米型粉口感煙韌,每年都沾滿海皇湯,非常入味。最後還有多款甜品任食,味道可媲美酒店級水準,每款都非常濃郁惠顧客人還可以參加導賞團,了解馬匹及有機會到沙圈近距離看馬,真是一個難得的經驗。原來馬場除了到話外,來這裡吃飯也是個不錯的娛樂場所,以後又多一個消閒好去處。

When I walked into the restaurant, I felt like I am stepping into a five star hotel. The grand and elegant decorations will make you feel classy and privileged and the lights on the ceiling are in vintage style.
I was sitting at the stool, the bar table, and you can see the shining alcohols in the middle that look fancy. After all this is a restaurant at the racecourse, hence it is able to go the outdoor area to enjoy the racing.

They provided semi-buffet here, which the semi-buffet will serving till 2pm.

The waiter have asked me about the time of serving the main course, so then I been waiting for 1pm to arrive. I paid extra money to upgrade my main course to Pan-seared Salmon Fillet, Creamy Savoy Cabbage, Semi-dried Cherry Tomatoes and Salmon Caviar. The salmon fillet is in nice orange colour and the plating looks really stunning! It was surprised that the fish skin is crispy and not fishy at all, the salmon fillet is boneless and juicy. Thus, it doesn't need any sauce or dressing to eat with the salmon fillet. Moreover, the salmon caviar is not just for decoration, it is also to create the in-depth texture of the whole dish. And don't underestimate the creamy cabbage at the bottom, it is super creamy that you cannot resist from it. Overall there is no negative comment about the main course, I am completely satisfied with this delightful dish.

You are so wrong if you think there is nothing more, there are dessert buffet provided as well. The baking goods area will change to serving desserts at 2pm, there are Apple Pies, Berries Puffs, Hazelnut and Caramel Mousse Cakes, Chocolate Cakes, Crispy Choco Panna Cotta, Chocolates, Pistachio Panna Cotta, Chocolate Creme Brûlée. Nonetheless, the desserts are just so-so, they are all quite sweet. If you don't prefer about the typical desserts, you can just simply get the mini cup of Haāgen Dazs Icecream.

友人是標準馬迷, 也知道我是愛吃之人。某天收到他傳來的訊息, 通知我原來沙田馬場內有間餐廳可以吃半自助餐的同時又可以看賽馬, 問我有沒有興趣去見識一下, 雖然個人不是馬迷, 但對餐廳就覺得頗吸引,所以便即時應約。

在這天的中午,跟友人在馬場內會合, 來到這間位於沙田馬場的餐廳,走過樓梯後,見到餐廳環境似是馬房的樣子,餐廳中間是個酒吧位, 其他的位置分成幾個區域, 最好的當然是最近賽道有落地大玻璃的位置, 另外也有獨立房間。

餐廳在觀看賽事和投注設備方面都做得相當完善, 大部份地方都有安裝了電視, 有部份座位更加設有電視, 顯示齊賽事資料和直播賽馬實況,也可以實地在餐廳的露台欣賞賽事。餐廳內設有投注櫃檯,可以即時投注,這裡也提供平板電腦給馬迷去查看,在場也有職員幫忙一些對賽馬投注不太認識的朋友。

我還是對餐廳的食物有興趣多一點, 所以看看有什麼好吃, 個人熱愛的項目當然是海鮮部份, 一大盤放得滿滿的,當中包括有凍蝦、東風螺及澳洲青口, 只見食客是食完又食,食海鮮確實是半自助餐的其中一個番本項目。

也少不了刺身,有三文魚、醋鯖魚、北寄貝及甜蝦等,質素仍算唔錯, 眼見有多人不停的去拿刺身, 證明了這裡的刺身也真的受歡迎, 好彩刺身也總是源源供應。

到了開餐時間, 先吃幾款海鮮,凍蝦本身都算大隻, 入口鮮味十足, 肉質也爽口; 東風螺肉厚而彈牙, 味道鮮甜; 澳洲青口肉質鮮嫩, 回味無窮;整體上各款海鮮也是滿意的。

刺身也是本人喜愛的食物之一,各款刺身相當新鮮,因為切得夠厚, 可以大啖大啖食; 當中最欣賞三文魚, 相當新鮮,肉質是肥美的, 魚油豐富,口感唔錯而鮮味十足, 實在太有口福了。

還有不可錯過的即煮奄列, 大廚煎雞蛋的火候做得剛剛好, 煎得外層脆身, 用刀分開後,見到內裡是半熟的狀態, 非常澎湃,雞蛋不會過熟而保持了軟滑的口感,蛋味香濃, 加上多款餡料, 是對辦的。

主菜要了香燒三文魚柳伴忌廉燴椰菜、風乾車厘茄及三文魚籽, 三文魚柳做得非常好, 三文魚的外皮煎得香脆, 而三文魚肉就得剛剛熟, 有外脆內軟的口感, 三文魚的魚脂豐富, 配合三文魚籽, 更是好吃。

試了幾款甜點,當中最喜愛的應是熱情果芒果茉莉香撻, 味道濃郁而口感幼滑,芒果味濃之餘,酸酸甜甜的熱情果味, 也可以有消滯之作用。

在這天的賽馬日入場, 正好是天朗氣清的一天,可以在餐廳露台看見綠油油的跑道, 加上在悠閒和舒適的環境下跟友人吃半自助餐,也是寫意的, 雖然個人沒有下注, 只來吃東西,但也不失為一個好節目。

坊間很多西餐廳都有三文魚扒供應, 不過能夠燒得外脆內嫩的三文魚卻真的不常有 .... 把三文魚肉切下, 魚汁會從缺口處流出來, 鮮甜不腥, 配上香口奶順的忌廉汁, 入口軟滑更覺香濃鮮美 ~
