Booked this place for lunch before my scheduled 2:30pm health check nearby. We were fully seated and ordered by 12:30.

We originally booked this place for their Sharing Menu, but after overhearing the waitress inform another table that anything off the Lunch Menu would take “longer”, we went with the Lunch Menu.

First thing that arrived was the baked oysters. They tasted fine. They were served with a bit of cheese and spinach. I’ve always liked seafood so I couldn’t find any fault with the two oysters.

Next was the soup - the “Daily Soup”, which vaguely tasted like pumpkin. It was rather watery and didn’t have much texture to it. This was part of the lunch menu and there was no other options, so I had to eat it by default.

The most infuriating part of my entire lunch experience was that our main courses, the Kumamoto Zen-Noh Wagyu we added $138 to upgrade to, didn’t arrive until 1:40pm. How is that even vaguely acceptable? I flagged down our waitress, an indifferent female in colored contacts and a ponytail, at 1:30pm (1 hour into our lunch) inquiring where our main courses were. She brushed it off, telling me that the entire restaurant has to be served mains AT THE SAME TIME since they were also PREPARED at the same time. I was absolutely flabbergasted. The tables that were seated after us began having their main courses served, yet our table was still empty. We weren’t even ordering the usual meal items, so why were they all supposedly being “prepared together”? She simply walked away without even reflecting with the kitchen.

This was an utter embarrassment on how a restaurant should be run. I hope the staff reflect on this poor experience and learn how to handle time properly.

Finally, after informing another short-haired waitress in tears that I had a medical appointment to go to, the steak arrived. Thank goodness for that waitress - she apologized and told us she’d check with the kitchen. For the time I had to spend waiting for it, it was very mediocre. The steak was sliced up so parts of the beef continued to cook away as we rushed through our mains. Was it worth the extra price? Probably not. I could definitely find better steaks at cheaper prices throughout Wanchai and Causeway Bay.

The dessert we were allowed to choose between two options - a chocolate lava cake and a mandarin fresh fruit parfait. We ordered the lava cake with the nicer waitress, it was served just as we were finishing up our mains.

This restaurant appears to target the working population, so if you have a lunch break and are considering eating here, just bear in mind it took us 1.5 hours to get our food (oysters, pre-made soup, steak, and dessert) and this is AFTER I flagged a different waitress down to urge the kitchen. Food-wise, it isn’t awful, but I probably wouldn’t give up so much time waiting for it.

If you can’t stand the hEat, get out of the kitchen.

甜品有心太軟同檸檬柚子撻。心太軟嘅流心效果一流,食落有酒味,外脆內軟🥰 檸檬柚子撻好開胃,撻皮夠硬、唔會腍,咬落成層柚子餡,酸酸甜甜🤩

呢度嘅嘢食都唔會太重口味,值得一讚👍🏻 Staff會keep住幫我地收碟、斟水、refill紙巾/牙籤,最後仲會問覺得嘢食o唔ok👍🏻👍🏻 餐廳播住輕快嘅英文歌,高級得黎又chill,值得推薦💯

近來都興食熟成牛肉,上網搜尋後我們找到了這一家可以吃熟成牛肉的餐廳。 這次我們點了一個八道菜的二人套餐。第一項是Crab and Lobster Bisque. 這是一個由新鮮蟹肉和龍蝦肉做成的湯, 把蟹肉和龍蝦肉打磨成湯配上忌廉, 入口不會油膩而且充滿蟹和龍蝦的味道。第二道是Tuna Steak, 吞拿魚新鮮沒有腥味,輕輕煎過後更能加強魚肉的香氣。 配上黃椒紅椒和店舖自製的醬汁, 酸酸的很開胃。第三道是Oyster, 這是一個芝士焗蠔, 新鮮的蠔配上芝士, 而且是新鮮焗起熱辣辣的~ 很好食。第四道是Foie Gras, 這是一個燒鵝肝配半熟蛋, 鵝肝烹調的熟度剛剛好,如果只吃鵝肝入口即溶,而且我覺得味道非常之香。 另一種食法可以配半熟蛋, 雖然配上了半熟蛋, 但會有一種解油膩的口感, 非常之特別。第五道是seasonal clams, 新鮮的大蜆配上忌廉醬汁。 蜆肉非常之飽滿多汁, 只吃蜆肉的話已經有充滿濃濃的鮮味, 配上忌廉醬汁的話就是另一種西式風味~值得推介第六道是whole lobster. 這道菜是原條的波士頓龍蝦, 用燒烤的手法把龍蝦的鮮味和肉汁鎖住, 蝦肉非常之彈牙多汁

最後一度煮食就是45 Days dry aged greater omaha striploin. 這是第一次食45天的熟成牛肉, 熟成牛肉的味道會比普通牛肉更加濃郁, 而且這一份牛肉是用五常的熟度烹調, 入口軟熟, 口感也非常之好, 想試試熟成牛肉的話可以選擇這一家餐廳~

甜品方面我們選擇了檸檬柚子雪糕撻和伯爵茶慕斯。 檸檬柚子雪糕撻酸酸的甜甜的非常之清新, 在吃過一大輪海鮮和紅肉後吃這個甜品非常之解油膩。 伯爵茶慕絲的茶味很重, 幕斯的質感非常之滑, 是很好的飯後甜品
