To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 呢度應該有全香港可以食到最正宗嘅鱔糊,非常之好味,係市面上幾乎都難以搵得到嘅傳統嘅做法。用生蒜泥嚟撈落個鱔糊。不過整體而言啲嘢食嘅質素有少少小飄忽、鱔糊,蔥餅,醉乳鴿,小籠包之類都好好味。但係紅燒肉,熏魚比較耐人尋味。唔係好明白點解會做到好似唔係好有心機。紅燒肉好散全部都分開晒,同埋有大有細切得好唔均勻,裏面嘅豆皮好韌,咬到牙骹軟。但係應該唔係因為燜煮時間唔夠,因為啲紅燒肉好爛。熏魚又係切到大大細細,表面個皮好有咬頭🤨

松子黃魚除咗賣相一流,都非常有內涵,新鮮做起,熱辣辣,脆卜卜,魚肉仍然好滑,加上甜酸汁,食到唔停口😋

砂鍋雲吞雞正常好味道,係清雞湯,雲吞大大粒,有12粒咁多,仲有半隻雞,因為我哋叫咗半份,真係非常足料。唯一菜就少咗啲,得幾條豆苗。

傳統菜館嘅好處就係份量夠足,大大碟,而家好多新派上海菜,都係以精緻為主,每樣細細碟,相比喺老字號食飯,就一定更加滿足😃

Visiting here Hong Kong Old Restaurant at least once a year when it’s hairy crab season. We came here again and share the set for two among 3 people at $1600. We still got very full at the end. The quality of hairy crab was up to expectation but still could be more creamy..Other dishes we had were not bad. Hong Kong Old Restaurant is a 30-year-old Shanghainese restaurant at HK. The style of cuisine is so old fashion and traditional with good quality control. The pork belly with abalone are so sweet and fresh. The smoked duck are so smoky and spongy with excellent color. These you should not be missed!

佢哋嘅小籠包真係好好食,皮薄餡靚,加上用嘅豬肉肥瘦剛剛好,唔會太瘦而嚡熠熠,最重要真係好多湯汁!

豆沙鍋餅 🥧
呢份豆沙窩餅都叫相當貴,但份量亦都相當足,而且好食嘅!紅豆蓉非常之細滑,食落唔膩,而窩餅嘅外層香脆,如果多人一齊share嗌呢個啱晒!

非常推介大家同屋企人嚟呢度食飯,老人家一定會幾鍾意❤️
