有事要去會展一趟,做完嘢行返去會展站,原來灣仔明閣就喺站外既鷹君中心。橫掂未食飯就入去睇下有無位。幸運地有一枱取消,可以即入。即時上網睇睇有咩必點菜,首先蜜汁叉燒係必點菜式。再問服務員有咩靚燒味,服務員介紹叉燒拼燒鵝,上菜竟然俾咗燒鵝髀,實在幸運。叉燒完全冇筋,燒鵝皮香到不得了。果然冇介紹錯。點心點了蜂巢護角,海皇脆米腸,香口野好好食。不得不提雪山竹炭叉燒包,即叫即做,熱辣辣,雪山甜叉燒香,味覺享受。最後甜品點了蛋白杏仁茶及紅棗糕,暖暖胃。正餐感覺燒味到位,點心精緻。可以再去。

今次黎灣仔間明閣試下。

7.杏汁花膠湯(無影到相),啲花膠硬硬地,湯唔咸唔甜,味道好奇怪,成個湯完全唔夾,飲到一半飲唔落,好浪費☹️

我是一名愛花膠人士。無花膠不歡,煲湯炆燉樣樣喜歡。而且年紀開始大,不得不補充一下骨膠原,以保年輕。收到電郵看到灣仔明閣正在推介這個美顏套餐,心思思訂位一試。餐單內有燕窩羹,脆皮花膠,紅棗蒸龍躉得骨膠原菜式。當中最愛是脆皮花膠,花膠吃得多,未試過把外層作為脆皮,師傅的確厲害。令外一道印象深刻的是魚子醬雪地明蝦球,服務員介紹魚子醬有抗氧化功能,配上蒸蛋及爽滑鮮蝦,令人回味。最後的薑茶湯圓內,竟然加了桃膠,真的整個套餐也很養顏。同行友人吃點心,評價亦不錯。唯一要提醒一下大家,吃這個美顏套餐由於有很多道菜,最好預留多點時間。

Tried this place for lunch. The food is really good. Some of the items were very tasty. The BBQ pork buns is definitely one of my favorites, which the crispy and sweet crust. The Char Siu dish is also a highlight, very juicy and delicious. The overall environment is also quite nice, with good decor and felt very comfortable and pleasant. The staff is also very professional and polite. Overall a very positive experience, would definitely go again.

What I enjoy the most about a restaurant is not just the food but its overall experience including service, music and food presentation. Feeling it is like one step further from its original Ming Court in Cordis Hotel, Ming Court Wan Chai seems to be more contemporary but not too overwhelming. The interior design is very minimal and western while the wall graphic and decoration bring out the traditional elements. I am most impressed with the food. Feeling it is like one step further from its original Ming Court in Cordis Hotel, Ming Court Wan Chai seems to be more contemporary but not too overwhelming. The interior design is very minimal and western while the wall graphic and decoration bring out the traditional elements. I am most impressed with the food. I am not a big fan of fusion and the restaurant keeps a good balance between authentic and new ideas. They are nothing fancy and I will call these are new interpretation of Chinese cuisine.

I went to Ming Court for lunch on January 14th with 3 other people. We did not order a lunch set and ordered dishes a la carte. The dishes we ordered included:1. Chilled Jellyfish (3 ways) - very tasty and good sized portion. 2. Dimsum - BBQ pork buns, shrimp dumplings, mushroom vegetable dumplings. It was possible to order individual pieces of dim sum3. It was a friend’s birthday and the restaurant gave us lotus paste birthday buns, which was very thoughtful. The buns also had egg yolk inside!
