幾次經過見太多人都沒進去吃,終於找天特地去吃:回鍋肉:肉太瘦,而且很un,沒辣味,不太建議大家點這道菜吃鐵板京蔥爆牛肉:牛肉也是很un,用的牛肉唔算是靚野,京蔥倒是香甜可口,炒鱔糊:還好吧,就是咸了點大師傅炒手拉麵:普通普通的,真的說不出有什麼特點一口小籠包:這個很值得一吃,價錢比其他上海餐廳比算是便宜,一籠有8隻,不是平時得4隻那麼少,皮薄,湯濃清香,肉料也好吃,做得很好吃,比起它其他的小炒一類,金滿庭的糕點類做得很好吃素菜餃:皮太厚了,應該是人手搓的,不像其他水餃皮一樣交給機器片出來紅油炒手:炒手的皮跟北京水餃的皮是不同的皮,也是很滑很好吃,只是可惜紅油甚少味道,不辣反而是甜的,有點失望北京水餃:這個很好吃,皮薄肉挺鮮的,很引人胃口的一味菜蘆薈杞子桂花糕:這個很清甜好吃,吃完很想再叫一碟的甜品酒釀丸子:這個比起蘆薈杞子桂花糕略為評價低了點,可能是我不喜歡它黃酒米那種味道

素菜餃:皮太厚了,應該是人手搓的,不像其他水餃皮一樣交給機器片出來
紅油炒手:炒手的皮跟北京水餃的皮是不同的皮,也是很滑很好吃,只是可惜紅油甚少味道,不辣反而是甜的,有點失望
北京水餃:這個很好吃,皮薄肉挺鮮的,很引人胃口的一味菜
蘆薈杞子桂花糕:這個很清甜好吃,吃完很想再叫一碟的甜品
酒釀丸子:這個比起蘆薈杞子桂花糕略為評價低了點,可能是我不喜歡它黃酒米那種味道

1. Receptionist do not use mic to call number or put the number in the displace box2. The waitress are very unpolite and only serve you when you ask for many times3. The invoice show when give the credit card to the waitress do not match the credit card slip she ask me to pay. But she keep silent! When I discovered and ask the reason, she simply said the last one is wrong.DO not suggest to visit ior revisit

細細碗的擔擔麵正在特別推介,所以只價$24
擔擔麵雖不太爽口,味道尚可,可是似未煮熟透的,麵餅黏在一起

湯底有點辣,辣的程度可以接受,但不加辣就更好

今次叫的五香芝麻雞、擔擔麵只屬一般,以我光顧過奧海城金滿庭的水準衡量,算是失望了
此外,我光顧銅鑼灣這間分店正是周六
雖然全店客滿,但無論我排隊輪候時間、門外排隊人數,均未能與奧海城分店相提並論
再加上樓下幾位版友對這間分店食物質素、服務操守的評價
也許這間分店需要改善一下了

本人於4月9日生日,家人及朋人共7人於貴公司銅鑼灣時代廣場食晚飯,家人為本人準備了生日蛋糕,是聖安娜的芝麻軟蛋糕,於飯後叫侍應生帶出,然後交給侍應生去代為分切,而家人亦說出平分此蛋糕,而貴公司需要收取切蛋糕費用,本人亦覺得非常合理,絕對沒問題.而問題卻發生,由於切蛋糕需時,本人正當去洗手間,見到一位金髮男侍應生正為本人分切蛋糕,亦和身旁一位長髮女侍應生傾談,本人亦不覺得有什麼問題,但卻聽到那金髮男侍應生原來正談着把蛋糕切多了出來分給誰吃,正以為談論是如何分給本家人,本人特意走回一次聽清楚,發現原來是分比公司哪一位同事食!!! 那位金髮男侍應生是否太過份了!!! 為什麼可以把客人帶來的蛋糕留起一份來品嘗!!! 還毫不顧忌地大談!!!那蛋糕怎也算是本人之財物,本人亦交出切蛋糕之費用,那金髮男侍應生為何能如此!!!這是否在職業操守上出現問題呢,又要交切蛋糕費又被那侍應生像是沒職業操守般對待,本人實感心中不快之感覺,本人於洗手間出來後,親眼看見那金髮男侍應生把剩下的蛋糕放進水吧內,之後從沒有拿回,這種職業操守是否出現問題,請問貴公司是否容許!!!貴公司之食品是有質數,亦在這網頁中得知是有名食府

Went here for a late lunch, 2:30pm, in time for their afternoon tea sets ($40-$50 with choice of an appetizer and noodle/hot food) or 20% off a la carte menu. At first I came here in default because the next door Cheng's Kitchen had a long wait and I was attracted by the nice decor inside, but was soon to be surely disappointed with the food and service.

Food: Since it was Shanghainese, figured I'd be safe and order some Pork Soup Dumplings; Egg Yolk steamed buns; Dan Dan Noodles; and Noodles with bean and meat sauce (Zha Jiang Mian).

Soup dumplings: They arrived leaking...the soup was leaking out of half of the dumplings already, which blew my mind because this says poor execution.
These tasted like Crystal Jade soup dumplings - very meaty/fatty. The soup was good, but it was already spilled out. Overall - very poor compared to Din Tai Fung whose dumplings are almost impossible to break because they do them so well with the right thickness of skin and right preparation.

Egg yolk steamed buns: This is their version of the HK "Lau Sa Bao." A big NO. I've tasted better off any Chinese dimsum restaurant. Specifically, I've never seen this before, but it is possible for pure oil to drip out of my bun...the oil and the egg yolk was separate and the egg yolk filling was definitely not the right consistency for it to "flow." Again, very disappointed.

Dan Dan Noodles:
The disappointment continues... The worst Dan Dan noodles I've ever had. First of all, the noodles were in different thicknesses...showing that the noodle chef does not have enough experience to make them even thickness! Some were very thick (like almost an udon...believe me, and some were really thin). Secondly, the soup was had such a poor flavor - it tasted like a diluted version of Crystal Jade's version. I literally had 2 bites and pushed it aside. I'm not one to waste food, but this was an exception.

Noodles with bean meat sauce: Came with a light bowl of soup to poor over if desired. This was the only semi-decent dish. Although I must say the minced meat sauce came with pellets of pork fat, which really turned me off.

Service: Horrible service. Took multiple "mmgoys" to wave down a waiter, even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Waiters would keep telling me to wait ...I think they may have a system of each waiter is in charge of a certain area? Bill took more than 10 mins to come back. Also, they even asked me why I didn't eat it...I tried to be nice, so I told them the noodles came really different thicknesses...and this spiralled into this huge ordeal. More waiters came and asked me to repeat, then the manager came...oh my god. But they did try at the end, by giving me a free noodle coupon - which I probably will not use.

Decor: Very very nice. There were spacious seating and private booths. And this huge bamboo ship in the ceiling - very unique.

Sizing it up: Worst Shanghai food ever - disappointed at their basic Shanghai soup dumplings; buns; and noodles. I'd go to Crystal Jade over this for sure. I'm not sure why this restaurant got so many good ratings - but trust me, the food is a big disappointment. The entire restaurant was empty at 2:30pm whereas next door was jam packed ---> HK ppl have picky palates - so this can only mean, this place is definitely not up to par. Spare yourselves, and eat at Din Tai Fung if you crave Shanghai food.

朋友很早就來到, 所以不用等位, very good 因為食咗個 late lunch, 都未肚餓, 只ordered 酸辣湯麵 - d 麵成"舊", 很難弄得開, 內裡是凍的, 定是弄好很久, 放埋一邊 , 酸辣湯味道一般雞"會"麵 - d 麵亦是一樣情況 上湯餃子 - 一般的餃子干煸四季豆 - 好甜, 真係好甜 如果要等位的, 我一定唔會嚟

Went here for dinner finally!Arrived at 5:00pm and there was already a queue! Finally was able to get a nice booth table at around 6pm, which was pretty long. Went here for dinner finally!

We ordered quite a number of dishes this time.

1) 雞絲粉皮: that was excellent! The 粉皮 wasn't very thick and it had this strong peanut taste, but was not overdone!

2) Xiao Long Bao: hm...the skin was very thin, but the filling, i.e. the meat, tasted a bit weird. Could be better

3) Fried Ramen: very delicious, not overwhelmed with oil, but good enough. Could be much tastier though

4) Fish soup: anyway, this soup was just alright, nothing special and wasn't esp. tasty in particular

5) 清炒豆苗: again, excellent veggies, nothing too special about them

6) dessert of the day: 酒釀丸子: excellent! The dumplings were very soft and delicate! I was so surprised! The water was also not too sweet and just right!

7) 高力豆沙: again, this dish was excellent! The 豆沙 was so soft and delicate and each of them was huge! Good dish!

8) Also, I ordered a cold soya bean drink and it was excellent! Not too sweet either. Sweetness was just right!

All in all, this is a good place for dinner and is worth the wait! Very good food! We got 10% off as we left prior to 7:30pm. Still, the service could be improved as we always had to chase after the waiters/waitresses for our orders. They almost forgot to serve us the 酒釀丸子.

Anyway, food here is good, but service needs to be improved.
