這道甜品拼盤可說是太美味了!餐廳會依人數來做合拼做一盤甜品盛宴,

全部都是法式菜最出名道地的甜品,我最喜歡就是看似是brownies的朱古力粒粒,

真的非常特別,以朱古力打成一定的厚度再冷藏切粒,味道濃郁香甜。

一客5款的甜品拼盤,色彩繽紛,非常吸引. 個人最喜歡帶有濃厚朱古力味的brownies以及香脆的蛋白餅、配上鮮果肉同吃,酸酸甜甜很吸引.

Onion 食物相當不錯,特別是洋葱湯、燒西班牙乳豬&炭燒美國 “1855”肉眼扒,實屬必點之選!!

之前已經來過Onion食lunch,非常有驚喜,到宜家仲好記得個starter platter。最近係Facebook見到佢地推出假日brunch,就急不及待要來試試,果然無令我失望﹗一望個menu就即刻心心眼,其實係銅鑼灣區真係好難搵到唔過100蚊的brunch,仲要可以望住個馬場景。咩都想食的我梗係揀Onion Grill Up大雜燴喇﹗但好可惜男友最愛的燒雞竟然sold out﹗不過細心的職員即係推介番lunch menu上的原隻法國燒春雞比男友,都只係105蚊咋,仲跟汽水/果汁,實在太抵鳥﹗Onion Grill Up夠哂足料,炒滑蛋、煙肉、德國腸、茄汁豆、烤蕃茄、炒雜菌、薯角同英式鬆餅,份量夠多又好食,我諗男仔食都未必食得哂﹗特別鍾意grilled tomato,非常juicy同香口。炒蛋呈半生熟狀態,十分嫩滑﹗唯一美中不足的地方係English muffin無果醬跟,如果有埋就perfect嘞﹗男友極力推薦燒春雞,外層雞皮香脆可口,內裡雞肉鮮嫩,原隻上碟夠哂份量,仲有薯角、雜蔬伴菜,真係超級抵食﹗所以話食好嘢唔一定要去好高級的餐廳,亦唔一定係貴﹗本地薑一樣有質素有驚喜﹗

看看水煮蛋吧,一刀切落去的時候,整個蛋黃都流出來了,金黃的蛋黃,聞上去已經很香了,配合上新鮮菠菜的味道,菠菜都被蛋黃所包圍著,香口無比。加上鹹香肉厚的煙三文魚跟鬆軟無比的英式鬆餅,整個味道跟口感都是很讚的~!!

Mystery Lunch 神秘午餐 ($53)

這是根據廚師每天的心情而調製的食物,今天這個嘛,其實我也不知道其名字,看上去又十分普通似的,但食落就知道其奇妙處~

長通粉是由外國入口的,保留著外國原有的風味,煙煙韌韌的,好像還沒有吃過煙韌的長通粉喔。這個是Wing吃過以來最特別的長通粉啦,配合上廚師的精心調味,帶點點辣的,一點都不刺激,反而感覺很香很吸引的。長通粉中的「煙肉」,該說是火腿吧,切得細細粒,咬口十足。整道菜的口感均很有層次的,果然,Mystery Lunch是很有驚喜的~!!!對於銅鑼灣的心臟地帶的精美午餐來說,$53的確是很親民的~

芒果熱情果蛋白餅 (跟餐加 $25)

這個蛋白餅原本是配以雜莓的,當天的雜莓剛好沽清,所以就轉了配芒果熱情果,但不打緊,賣相依然的精美,剛端上台的時候就已經聞到很清新的芒果跟熱情果味~吃一口就立即把味覺內的所有辣味通通帶走,而蛋白餅外面是很脆的,裡面則是涼浸浸的蛋白,感覺像吃著半溶的雪糕般,加上酸酸甜甜的芒果跟熱情果,不但感覺清新,口感層次亦十分豐富。

原來蛋白餅也有特別的食法,就是暴力地食。餐廳經理說過,澳洲人吃這個甜點的時候,要先把整個蛋白餅連同上面的配料一起壓爛,這樣就可以令每一口都嚐到蛋白餅跟芒果、熱情果了。

有時候要吃好味的,不暴力一點是不行的XDDD

Other Info. : 早起一點來到這邊吃個Brunch其實也是值得的,感覺很不錯,物有所值的。另外,這邊不論是環境、服務,還是食物質素均是有保證的,在這個繁忙的銅鑼灣來說,把食物跟價錢作個計算,這頓是十分化算的了,下一次有時間就試試晚餐吧~!!!看餐牌也不錯的丫~!!

小妹很滿意這頓午餐。 因為店來的人客不多,不時經理會和我們聊天,細說餐廳的故事, 廚子得獎及創作每道理料的用心。 在言談間得悉,這家店的用心是別家沒有的,為了跟隨傳統的西餐,廚師盡量依照傳統用法,不會口說主打傳統西餐,卻設計一些港式口味。小妹也很欣賞這家的用心,令為每位客人也能嘗上西式的美食。裝潢真的很舒適,因為我坐近窗位,可以看到馬場的景色,聽說跑馬日,客人看到的景色會更棒!

是日餐湯分別有︰洋蔥湯甘荀橙湯
名為洋蔥的餐廳對於洋蔥的料理豈能馬虎?味濃但不過鹹,如沒猜錯,湯中應有加入芝士,洋蔥味仍然存在,但辛辣的味道已經沒有。
甘荀橙湯的外觀很吸引,亦有很香的橙味,不過我還是被洋蔥湯吸引了過去...

香脆三文魚餅配蓄茄沙沙、他他汁及雜菜沙律

由於點餐時我並未留意前菜的名稱,故一直對湯旁邊的2粒類似薯餅的炸物存有好奇心。不過只要嚐一口便知道是三文魚餅,因餅內三文魚份量很多一吃便知,配上他他汁味道更好。不過吃一口後餅就較易散開,想要吃得有儀態少少,便用刀切開吃吧。

本人十分推介!! 香煎的比目魚扒一點都不會乾,切一刀後會發現魚肉及魚皮之間有很多汁,不配任何醬汁下試一啖,就會發現魚很滑很鮮味;再吃一口配以紅桑子汁,紅桑子汁味不淡,但完全沒有遮蓋魚的味道,反而非常匹配!同碟的配菜亦有略煮,並不似某些餐廳只會灼熟。魚扒吃完後還有紅桑子汁就不要浪費,配以同碟的薯蓉也很好吃!

這個"主菜"其實於訂位時已經預訂,甜品是這裡不可不嚐的環節。午餐加$40就可以品嚐餐牌內的甜品
其實我已經忘記了這幾款甜品的名字
,不過我一定不會忘記它們的味道!

喜歡吃朱古力的可以嚐嚐插著生日蠟燭的那件朱古力蛋糕,我不愛吃朱古力蛋糕,但這一件卻令我有想再吃多件的感覺,非常濃郁的朱古力味,而且蛋糕結構不會太散亦不會很乾身,感覺就是剛完成不久;

這件泡芙不像坊間吃到的會滿口CREAM(甜品中我最討厭多CREAM的制成品)全因它中間的醬(我亦忘記名字了)以及舖在上面的小小朱古力;

最後一件,亦是令我最驚喜的一件!上面淋的是芒果汁,果肉卻是橙肉(甜品師傅告知,因這時候的芒果不太好,故用橙肉代替芒果肉)我第一次吃芒果汁橙,沒想到味道是如此吻合! 而橙肉的下面,是硬的,亦脆脆的,用叉插取其中一份,並不會變散,神奇的是入口即溶!
 不會太甜,但由於溶得太快味道散得太快,讓人忍不住又再吃! 最後問了師傅,原來這是用蛋白做的!甜品的世界,真是太神奇啦!

由於有雪糕的關係,所以必須等我們吃完之前的dessert platter,才可以出場(用心!
)暖暖的蘋果肉+凍冰冰的雪糕,四重味覺享受!酸酸甜甜+甜+凍+暖

Other Info. : 過了一點後,OL們都開始陸續到來用午膳,走的時候都已經坐滿7~8成坐位,所以到此用餐還是先訂檯比較妥當。

The place was full but I was still able to get a table. I was greeted by a waiter who poured me a glass of hot water and told me he'd get me a menu.

Five minutes later, no menu was given to me. Finally, after trying to get the waiter's attention, I was given a menu followed by apologies all over. The lunch set is choice of main, salad, daily soup and coffee or tea. I chose a pan fried halibut fillet with mash and spicy cherry tomato coulis ($130). I asked what the daily soup was and apparently, it wasn't just one soup but a choice of three (cream of brocolli, onion and lentil soup). I chose onion soup because it's the name of the restaurant, right?

Salad was roasted pumpkin with parmesean dressing. Salad greens were crisp. Roasted pumpkin was sweet. I noted there was some crumbled hard boiled egg white which was nice. Sadly, the parmesean dressing was bland. It needed a touch more seasoning.

Onion soup was served in a tiny coffee cup. What was more ridiculous was I was given a tiny coffee spoon to use. Ever try drinking soup from a mini spoon? Ever wonder why a soup spoon is large and circular? Frustation is taken to another level. It got to the point, I just gave up and drank my soup like a cup of water. The soup also was a bit one dimensional. It mostly tasted of beef broth than anything else. I don't believe thyme was added or if it was, it just wasn't very much to give it that lift.

Pan fried Pacific halibut fillet with mash and spicy cherry tomato coulis. Presentation was a bit sloppy. This, quite honestly, wasn't good. When I read pan fried, I expected the skin to be crispy. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The skin was chewy. The fish meat was also undercooked on the ends but well cooked in the middle. The mash potato was starchy and not seasoned. The vegtables were underseasoned as well. The broccoli was steamed and not properly drained and water leaked from it, causing my dish to get all watery. The menu said "spicy cherry tomato coulis". I tasted no spicyiess. Just a lot of sweet tomato. It did go well with the fish.

Prices are not expensive and not cheap. But for this price, I can get something much better. I noticed that two people seemed to be working but it also seemed like I kept seeing only one person serving, hosting and bringing the bill. The place seemed understaffed and perhaps that's why a few service errors occurred. Will not return.

)但係配埋個沙律汁酸酸地成件事就好開胃,磨菇湯好香好濃。

炭燒豬扒配洋蔥醬,未食就已經好開心…淨係睇到咁大份豬扒,咁有心思既排位完全明白"辛苦搵黎志在食"

食落去…豬扒明顯食得出真係豬扒
點解會講個咁爛既gag?因為好多時豬扒唔係太林(即係梳打啦@~@),就係太實(即係冇晒肉汁)…好難得係依度食到個咁有口感,食落仲唔會韌既豬扒。所以用心去煮…果然係唔同啲。

比目魚本身油性較高,煎完既效果,食落真係好滑,加上煎脆既魚皮同埋少少辣既茄醬,口入面既感覺真係好豐富,有啲意想不到。

總結一下,無論食物同環境都值回票價,當日1點鐘上到去,已經有啲full…所以口位都比人坐晒,上班族都已經開餐,但係八卦一問之下原來唔係日日都咁多人,都唔係咁好生意,所以先會令我產生寫食評既念頭。希望可以多啲人知道依間餐廳,亦可以比其他人一個參考

The lunch set with coffee ranges from $90 -$160 which is similar to offers elewhere. But i soon realized that every dish is personally prepared by the chef a la minute and there is no compromise on the quality. After investigating, I found out the chef had a long list of credential including the once celebrity-favourite TEKA  in Hapy Valley.

The set lunch include a Salad and Soup Combination, it is a good idea for people in a hurry. The salad was fresh and the daily soup made with fresh tomatoes is very hearty.

I picked the US pork rack (8 oz) for the main. The rack comes with pepper sauce and I can imagine it will cost around the same price if i do it at home. The charcoal flavour is present and the meat is very flavourful. The side garnish is also well selected and make a nice presentation.

We didnt have time for the dessert but I was told the souffle is really popular. The meal came to HK$140 for 3 courses. The satmosphere is not luxurious but is rather cozy. I will try to come back again for the tasting dinner.
