兩個Starter都好好食
beef tartare 好新鮮整得好好
調味好夠salt and pepper唔會太多
不過如果可以放少啲芝士就更加好

跟住到主菜啦

而我叫左個cannelloni
佢用咗個比較安全嘅方法去處理
望落去有啲似Lasagna

係咸左少少但都仲係好好味
希望佢可以大膽用返傳統方法去做cannelloni

最後就係甜品
佢個tiramisu 好好食 不過好大杯
已經好飽既我就揀左espresso

佢杯就真係有少少失望啦

整體來講所有嘢都好滿意

We ordered Vitello Tonnato as the starter. It was sliced veal covered with tuna mayonnaise. To be frank, it did not look attractive; but it tasted yummy. You can taste the freshness of both the meat and fish. Surprisingly, it went very well with the complimentary bread. The tuna mayonnaise was really one of the best mayo I have ever eaten.

One of the pastas we ordered was Pappardelle. This is a meat pasta with beef cheek which were slow cooked for eight hours. The meat was very tender. The flat pappardelle was well-cooked and we could taste the richness of flour and eggs. Together with the tomato ragu sauce, this Papparadelle was scrumptious.

We also tried Tagliolini. Once it was served, we were totally amazed by the generous portion of freshly shaved black truffle! Sadly, the aroma was a bit soft, not as strong as we expected from the great portion of truffle. Yet, with this price, I think it was acceptable. The tagliolini was al dente, a texture which we enjoyed eating. Another thing we appreciated was that the white truffle sauce was not too rich, so you could still smell of the flour and egg from the pasta even though every tagliotini was wrapped with the sauce.

In short, we both enjoyed our dinner in Pici as the pasta was all fresh and al dente. With its reasonable price, we will definitely visit it again.

Beef tongue carpaccio as starter. Flavor was well balanced, savory from salt balanced by pickled onion and freshness of salsa verde. Fried leek gave the crispy texture and charred flavor. The beef tongue was paper thin and tender enough to chew but with slight crunch to it.

Nothing beats fresh made #pasta ! Can’t resist myself from ordering the truffle tagliolini, the pasta was perfectly al dente with the right amount of truffle sauce. Every inch of the pasta was coated with sauce.
truffle sauce reinforced the truffle flavor and the pinch of salt simply brought the flavor to another level. Simple yet incredibly delicious.
