呢間炸豬扒店,地點比較隱蔽而且店面都不大,大概只有二十多個座位而已。有多款炸豬扒可以選擇,因為第一次黎的關係,店員推介我地食no.1 & 3。這個是 no.1,前面2 件是豬柳,後面較多件的是西冷。 這店炸得好好,好脆唔會炸層都唔會太厚, 豬柳係完全無肥肉,識落唔會太un,保持到肉汁。而西冷有點點肥肉,所以食落食更有肉汁,肉與肥互相balance。呢個係3 號仔,肉眼 (完來豬都有分肉眼)。係3個之中肥肉佔最多的,食落因爲有肥肉,有汁有油當然好味,但係就會比較膩。定食跟埋個漬物,白飯,及味噌湯,湯不是粉開出黎架! 係煲架無味精而且幾足料有蘿蔔瓜咁。

Porker嘅吉列豬排用到鹿兒島嘅三元豚 由三種豬混種而成
吉列嘅部分所用到嘅麵包糠唔單止金黃香脆仲好輕盈
肉眼係咁多種豬排入面最肥嘅選擇 入面雖然半肥瘦偏油膩 但係肥膏旁邊嘅肉係最軟滑嘅 只要輕輕力就可以咬開啲豬排 而且肉味濃郁肉汁好多

Porker specialises in katsu pork made with meat from Kagoshima.
The outer layer is coated with bread crumbs that are golden brown and incredibly crispy. Surprisingly it’s also very light and not oily at all.
The rib eye option is the fattiest of all - with a 50:50 ratio of fat to meat. This means that  each bite contains a certain amount of fat, but the surrounding meat is also extra tender, with plenty of meat juices and a rich flavour.
The cabbage on the side can be paired with the perilla sauce to take away some of the oiliness.

味噌湯好足料,好多豬肉,羅白同蔥花,好濃好好味!
而potato salad酸酸地 好醒胃,仲有薯仔既texture,不錯。

咁我係芝士怪,一定會好想食呢個啦。
首先,佢係肉餅黎既,就一定無吉列西冷啊果d咁驚豔!
中間既芝士幾多既,足夠鹹香又唔會太搶fo,
咖哩汁,好味,個辣係小小地,刺刺的,幾有層次味,我個人幾中宜!

【Poker定食】$220
如果第一次黎,咁一定要試呢個poker定食既。
好大份,無估錯既話大塊既係西冷,小的是豬柳。
我同男朋友一樣都喜歡西冷,肉味非常濃郁,油脂比豬柳多,
好香口,同時都比較油膩,要留意!
而豬柳因為瘦d,肉味都重,但感覺上無咁香口,
不過因為佢用熟成既做法,令到佢就算無咁肥都唔會好鞋!
但有樣野要彈一彈,就係個面睇望炸得好乾爽,但個底都有點油。

總結,好味就都okay好味既,但性價比方面有d低,
覺得價錢低返少少會更吸引!

Best friend and I found this little hole in the wall in Wellington Street. Wasn't even planning to go here but the menu caught my eye. Oh, we did not regret. We walked down the 2-3 flight of stairs. The place looked clean even before stepping down.

The minute you walk in, you're greeted and welcomed in Japanese. Sat down at the bar area, instead of a normal table. The shop is cute and tiny with a legitimate feeling of authentic Japanese.

We noticed most tables were Japanese natives, and with my mediocre Japanese skills, I understood that they were regular visitors - sparking the fact that the food must be legit. Most of the visitors ordered the winter shabu set for two ($380), so naturally - a must order. We also ordered the deep fried aged pork sirloin set ($180). They brought out a mini pink fire starter for the shabu along with the soup base.

Even down to the miso soup, the katsu set was incredibly delicious! Might be one of the best katsu I've ever had! The cabbage salad was delightful and refreshing with what I believe was homemade sesame sauce. You can pick from sesame or vinaigrette. The pork was tender and easy to bite into — the right amount of fried. I'm usually not that into deep fried food, but this was great! Wasn't oily at all. Comes with a tiny amount of mash potato, miso soup, two pickled radishes, and a hearty amount of rice. Every bite was like heaven! The rice was even cooked to perfection; I had to hold back from finishing the whole bowl of leftovers from my friend.

Since the area was small, there wasn't enough room for the shabu ingredients until after we finished the katsu. It came with 12 thin slices of pork, cabbage, chrysanthemum greens, and buna shimeji mushrooms. We were recommended to put in the shrooms first. They gave us two types of sauces for the shabu - one peanut sauce and the other some minced radish vinegarette — a fan of the latter. A lovely lady next to us helped us with the fire stating it would burn if too high. It turns out, it was my straw burning, and we had a good laugh. The shabu was good, a little bit bland without the use of sauce. We asked for the udon to come faster so we could have it together with the rest of the pork. The udon as well as bland, but chewy and delicious if drank with the soup together. Even writing this review right now makes me crave something similar.

Overall, worth the random find. The bill total came out to be almost $700 which was a little bit confusing. Probably had a 10% charge and upped the pricing of cold oolong tea. Service was attentive, the area was a bit small and hot but gave the good home feeling. Will come next time to try the katsu sandwiches. Pleasantly pleased with this visit! Will come back!

We wanted to try different types of pork cutlet on the menu, so we ordered two sets which pretty much covered everything. The upper one is the Full House Set with cheese minced cutlet, sirloin and tenderloin cutlets. The lower one is Tenderloin Cutlet Curry.

The Full House Set was amazing to let you have a taste of everything. The cheese minced cutlet was gorgeous! I love the molten cheese inside the minced cutlet. They went so well with each other. The sirloin and tenderloin cutlets had distinguish tastes and textures, which were both so good that gave us a serious foodgasm!

We ordered the Tenderloin Cutlet Curry to try out the curry, and it did not disappoint. Japanese curry is usually sweet instead of spicy, but this one is quite hot indeed! Love that there was more curry than rice!

Something not to miss is the shredded cabbage that comes with the set. Make sure you try it with the sesame sauce and sour sauce provided. I think the sesame sauce is homemade, as the sesame is so flavoured! Even a veggie hater like me finished every single shred of cabbage!

We also ordered this Pork Sandwich. The bread was fluffy and toasted to have a crunchy surface, which wrapped a piece of juicy cutlet inside. The shredded cabbage was mixed with yellow mustard, which topped up the flavour of the veggies and sandwich as a whole.

Again, we ordered a bit too much. The portion was really generous. We first wanted the full house set and the sandwich. But we were told that there was half a sandwich left, so we got the curry set also. However, we were later informed that there was a whole sandwich. We wanted to cancel the curry set, but it was made already, so we ended up with too much food. Yet, I was able to take the left over home and hopefully it would taste as good after reheating.

最好味一定係肉眼,超軟彈又多肉汁而且富有油香,然後西冷都唔錯,相比之下肉質紮實少少,油香輕啲取而代之個肉味濃啲,係另一方面嘅極端地好,而最驚喜係個芝心肉餅,初時以為係芝心豬扒,原來係類似漢堡扒咁,但肉質超級鬆軟好很正,至於豬柳就普通料啦,同出面日本餐廳食果啲差唔多,可以叫full house試下但淨叫豬柳就免喇😌

除咗吉豬之外,定食周邊質素都唔差,個湯有用豬肉片一齊煲夠誠意,仲有漬物同椰菜絲,菜絲清甜,沙律汁都有芝麻醬同油醋汁揀,油醋汁仲帶啲類似黑椒定蒜味等幾香下,搭多一球仔薯飯沙律,明明網絡只係一頭薯蓉但係又超好食,係日本仔先整到😂 而白飯係好軟腍配脆脆嘅吉豬食效果好好✨

其實佢仲有好多小食例如豬肝醬同豬雜煮等,但其實食完個set都已經幾飽食唔落囉😂 唯一係差唔多全部set都要成百尾到二百頭好似有啲貴,但響中環個質素又咁高都算係咁啦,值得一食嘅✨

又是那種標榜日本喝酒+小食文化的小館。主打吉列豬扒。豬扒確實做得不錯,一點油膩感都沒有👍。小食嘛,一點特色都沒有,豬耳絲估計是普通進貨,就加了點莞茜辣油;青椒仔,隨便弄熱就上碟。份量都是小得可憐。清酒和highball還可以!2個人埋單六百多元,還要付現金😰最可惜是餐廳不提供水給客人,必須Order 飲料,真難想到現在還有餐廳用這種手法,表面上好像很聰明,實則傻到極。客人要飲就飲,不飲就不飲!就因為這種手法,沒興趣再去了。

個湯好香豆味, 唔會死鹹,仲有湯底裏面有一片片好薄嘅蘿蔔, 帶返出個甜味 中和咗個麵豉湯嘅鹹味 好耐未飲個 高質素嘅麵豉湯。 椰菜新鮮 佢有芝麻汁或者醋 多少就隨自己個人喜好加。

主角出場, 隻碟好有家的味道呀 哎呀 呢個唔係重點 吉豬炸得好乾身 炸粉唔太厚身 非常之 脆口 一啲油利感覺都沒有 豬扒結實得嚟 唔會硬掘掘 豬扒仲好有豬肉味添 個咖哩帶啲微辣 可以接受。

由於佢落錯單 以為我哋 兩個都係點咗 咖哩吉豬 所以個滑蛋吉豬等我哋食咗個 咖哩吉豬之後先嚟 可能已經差唔多飽啦 唔記得咗影個滑蛋豬 其實佢個賣相都好好㗎 但係滑蛋偏鹹 呢個吉豬就比下去啦。

不過呢一個都未贏到到我心目中最鍾意嘅咖哩吉豬, 不過就喺石板街旁邊 好方便 同埋如果下一次 同朋友嚟可能淨係會嗌一個飯 然後嗌其他嘢食試下 因為個飯實在太大喇。

友人介紹新開既吉列豬扒店,一響都食開銅鑼灣食咗幾十年果間店,更係要試下食新野睇下有無得同佢比美味啦~星期五晚7點幾,等咗大約30分鐘就可以入座,唔算太多人,但佢地話要1個鐘頭交枱給其他客人,心諗呢到食個餐都要成2百蚊,點解好似食快餐咁既,已經黎到試菜就算啦! 我叫咗熟成肉眼豬套餐,老公叫咗豬柳同西冷套餐。眼見其他食客既豬扒已心知不妙,面頭有一層油,因我食開果間表面係唔會見到油十分乾爽的。好啦野食黎到啦,果然個面係見到有油,底部更多,食落大家都預架啦,食到一口油,完全無酥脆既口感,敗筆! 沙律中規中矩但佢地個芝麻沙律醬,味道好濃,這個我喜歡。呢到係無得添飯同加菜的,連茶水都無提供,座位十份迫~
