原來想訂Moreton, 但已滿。很久以前來過,由地舖搬到去二樓。有點難找。入口處很大,好似去了Barber shop 接待處咁。不過,唔識英文就來不了,全部侍應都是南亞裔人士。餐牌也只有英文。我和hubby 每人點了set dinner, 不用想太多。Each have Crab chowder, me 6oz petite filet with prawn, hubby have 10oz steak. Dessert is berries, choco and supersweet caramel pudding, finished with coffee/tea. We also have cider, beer and fresh lemonade. Too full actually. 下次再來都是轉al carte 好些,吃精D,吃少D。整體感覺不錯,唯一不喜歡的是地方其實很大,但枱與枱之間很近,對面枱的人說話也聽得一清二楚!Not a lovers’ friendly restaurant indeed.

羊架: 點了不少牛肉扒,既然一場到訪,那也試一下羊架吧。一客三的羊架,在擺位也是有花上一點心思的,論肉質還是很不錯的,但薄荷的味道略重,應該是在烹調時有 點太重手了吧。其實如果是有水準的羊架,其實是不用下薄荷去僻味,反而加簡單的調味便好,反而能突出羊架的獨特味道。

蝦:點的肉食有點多,就來點海鮮吧,點的是一個蝦的主菜,最值得一讚的是鮮蝦是已經剝殼的,而且其實做法也特別,就是把鮮蝦泡在龍蝦湯內,味道非常不錯,鮮蝦是爽口的,配龍蝦湯是分外的滋味。分量不少,一人完成是會膩口,建議可3-4人一同分享。

法式布甸: 其實就是焦糖燉蛋,是4個甜品中我最喜歡的,燉蛋的甜度恰到好處,而且表面的脆焦糖厚度真的剛剛好,烤得金黃色,吃的時候也有咔嚓一聲的感覺,雖然論驚喜度真不算大,但也是好吃之作。
芝 士餅:除了我所點的芝士餅外,因預先有打電話跟店員講這晚餐是慶祝生日的,所以店員在甜品環節也送上了一個插上了蠟燭的小芝士蛋糕,其實跟所點的芝士餅味 道是一樣的,只是點的芝士餅外圍多了一圈牛油撻皮。芝士是紥實那種,味道也是夠香夠滑的,撻皮上也沒有多大的驚喜,是不脆的。整體是平實的。
魔 鬼熔岩朱古力:聽名字是愛吃朱古力之人必點的吧,其實就是走心太軟的路線,朱古力不是走厚實的方向,而是朱古力蛋糕的,也特別。這個要趁熱吃,朱古力漿的 濃度,甜度,熱度也是中上的水準。同行的友人們也點評了這個為第一名,但我個人還是比較喜歡那種外圍比較紮實的心太軟吧。
香蕉忌廉批: 論賣相是最膨湃的,一片片厚度平均的切片香蕉均勻地鋪在撻上,確是美觀。但一切下去撻便散得似是四分五裂的,而且賣相確要較味道出色,畢竟如此華麗的外表還是會予人一個很大的期望吧。吃後留後最深刻的印象竟是“香蕉是甜的……”

我先之前人人都話會送個小dessert for紀念日, 食完之後好快就有人收晒我地枱面d野,
但一路都無再有人理過我地,
勿講有無甜品送, 連有無人sell我地叫甜品都無(我成晚見過一次有人拎住一盤甜品推介), 白白等左over10分鐘, 係完全無人理
(但我走個陣又見到有一兩枱有ga wor) 如果佢唔係有呢個窩心既surprise, 咁佢訂枱個陣問我係咪紀念日同生日做乜.
咁等左咁耐咪叫埋單, 叫完埋單都係無舉動, 咁就走啦, 走又係一路見到有server, 一路都無人同你講拜拜
我去食之前, 睇左好幾版既openrice留言, 人人讚到天上有地下無, 特別係講到service有幾excellent
我個人覺得, 去得食佢, 預左貴, 老實以佢主菜既牛扒食幾ok ga, 如果為咗食牛扒都ok
但其他既side dish, 絕對係比其他既貴, 而又唔係比人好食 (除左個洋蔥圈)
server既服務, 我會話上菜個陣同執枱係最快手既, 因為好多時都係2個人一齊,
但每道菜之間都係要等好耐, 又其他時間其實係唔係成日見到一入枱話負責招呼你個個server, 又整體server唔夠attentive.
server亦笑容無乜.

我覺得, 既然係使咗錢, 我會prefer去d我食完覺得開心d既, 起碼服務好d既
我會去lawry's, mortan, rather than呢間. 再見.

My friend loved this blue cheese chopped salad and I personally think it will go perfect with white wine (we didn't order wine because it's kind of pricey for a lunch meal). The flavour is rich and not too overpowering and the crunchy bits enahnced the texture in the salad.

We ordered a 16oz steak to share and it is absolutely HUGE. Even between the two of us, we almost couldn't finish it. It is cooked to perfection somehow, I feel like it's missing some flavour and juiciness. I'll give it an 8/10.

However, what's amazing about this restaurant is the quality off their service. They charge fine dining prices and I wouldn't have expected anything less from their staff, but our waiter was SUPERB! He catered to us like royalties and refilled our glasses every 10 minutes. Just the service made this whole dining experience so much better.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone if you're looking for a nice quiet fine dining experience. Throw in a casualwalk down TST east harbour, and it'll turn your whole day into a gift.

我揀左配blue cheese。露筍都幾新鮮,清清地,可以沖淡crab cake既咸,一陣好好品嚐主菜

我點左medium rare,個人覺得medium rare係最好味,肉質最嫩,最可以食到肉既味
外貌一d都唔花巧,唔會有網紋,但表面燒得好靚
服務員準備左兩隻碟,問我地係唔係share食,係就即刻幫我地分兩份上菜
肉既表面香脆,內裡粉紅色,但無血水滲出
就咁都聞到牛本身既味,入口好juicy,肉汁滲透到口既每一個位置,好濃既牛味,有一種幸福既感覺

好多好多香蕉係面,加上用火加熱過既糖,香甜中帶點微甘苦焦味,入面既吉士好滑,有淡淡既雲尼嗱味,下面個兜形餅香酥而不滯,tasty

2天前預約了這間Ruth's Chris Steak House
預約前看了各食家的食評 得悉它好評好潮 所以滿心期待呢!


餐廳會安排一位侍應轉門負責一張木台 服務貼心

看過MENU後 沒有叫set dinner 我地決定散叫

侍應會隨即送上免費的法式麵包, 用白布包住 熱騰騰的 配上, 未吃已傳來陣陣香氣, 鬆脆chewy, 配上軟牛油 不俗

Caesar salad 係我食西餐必叫的 今次呢個略為失色
芝士味欠奉 有3粒cherry tomatoes 是先煮過的 味道不錯
但整體味道稍淡 有點失望

侍應很細心地將crab cake 分成2小球 讓我們可以一人一碟 這樣就不會出現自己分時的狼狽情況
ruth's chris 上碟時的碟都是熱的 這樣可以保持食物的溫度 十分貼心^^
一梳梳的蟹肉煎到好香 配以檸檬汁 少量牛油汁 酸酸甜甜的 好開胃 而且蟹肉份量真係好多


Potatoes au Gratin 芝士焗薯仔

滿滿的熱溶芝士鋪滿薯仔粒上
甫上碟時那種香氣撲鼻的感覺 真係令人食慾大增
芝士味好濃郁 配合本身淡味的薯仔很好
不會過於飽濟 但稍有不足是口感欠奉
若薯仔再硬身少許就完美了!

New york strip 12-ounce

上碟前侍應詳細地解釋會如何烹調這份牛扒 了解後我們都滿心期待!
上碟時侍應先為我們2隻放上了dressing 的溫熱空碟 再問我們需要為我們分切與否
我們自行分切 因為小女子胃的空間有限 所以只能容下3份1的steak
但已經好足夠 想必女孩們最好2個人share一份 這樣可以試多d款!

New york strip 我們點了medium rare.
真的做到外面香脆熟透 而內里一切開是偏紅的
血水和肉汁同時流出 牛肉味超級濃郁 chewy又不老
每一淡吞下後餘韻亦留在口腔 好甘香 呢個絕對值得一試!!
全5分!!!!

最後食到飽飽後 侍應隨隨送上了用chocolate寫上Happy Anniversery 的旦糕
還細心地幫我們影了好幾張相呢!

總結: 呢餐飯食得好滿足 無論環境,服務,食物 都超卓 值得一讚!^^

We made reservations for our party of 12 beforehand. We were seated right away in their "party" room. I do believe there is a minimum for using this room, but I can't recall what it is.

They offer a variety of steaks, seafood, and other courses. The menu is written in English, but the server was very adapt at explaining the menu in Chinese as well.

I also ordered a Caesar salad along with my meal. The romaine was chilled nicely, but the dressing was lacking. It was more like a sour cream based dressing instead of a tangy vinaigrette. Not bad though.

I ordered a ribeye, cooked rare. The steak was beautifully cooked and rare all the way through. It was juicy and the seasoning was perfect. *note* The steaks come on a sizzling plate, so if you want your steak cooked perfect, I recommend ordering a little more rare.

We also ordered an entire table of sides (Creamed Spinach, Baby Spinach, Mashed Potatoes, Fries, Potatoes au Gratin). The portions were just right with plenty of leftovers.

I was too stuffed for desert, but the waiters bring a sample tray of it for you to look at before ordering.

Overall, I like the atmosphere and the taste of the food. The waiters were more than accommodating and my wine glass was never empty. The place is a bit pricey so it's not an everyday restaurant. Also, I would say the portions are fairly large (more western sized) compared to what most people are used to eating daily.

牛排是一定要試的, 一定不會讓你失望, 試過medium的牛柳,肉眼扒, T 骨牛排, New York Strip 。 雖然價錢確實不便宜,但喜歡吃牛排, 或者愛吃的朋友是不能錯過的。牛排的份量是很大, 完全是外國肥佬的份量, 可以兩個人叫一份都夠了。

熱辣辣的牛排, 加上香噴噴的牛油, 簡直是膽固醇大餐。 當美食當前, 就顧不了那麼多了。

肉質是出奇的嫩滑,牛肉味很濃, 鮮味在舌尖上發酵, 讓人沉浸在幸福的味道中, 真的是人間美味。

當然, 餐廳其他配菜的水平也不錯, 但份量真不小, 所以點餐時一定要適量, 不然就浪費了。

跟住就係個扒啦, 叫左個Petite Filet 8-ounce, 小妹確實係唔識野, 因為我食牛不能食太生的… 平日用碟上就叫8成, 用鐵板上就7成, 而我見佢係用碟上就叫左個medium well…. 上菜先發現佢個碟係極熱的! 個扒本身8成好快就變左9成。說真的個牛柳本身係好好食, 唔駛加任何dressing 都好好味, 只係小妹唔識野, 令佢熟過頭。另外, 就係唔能夠任性, 明知牛係配紅酒好d… 果晚任性地點了Pinot Grigio, 令到啖酒好苦…….
