我點的是 - 蝦濃湯吉列蝦伴烏龍麵 ($98)
烏龍麵有中份量和大份量 (+$10) 可以選擇,不過我覺得不特地加錢都夠飽。
一上桌就聞到好濃蝦味,喝一口已經知道十分濃厚,但相對也頗鹹。
另外應該曬了一些七味粉?吃起來還有點微辣。
很喜歡這裡的烏龍麵很煙韌彈牙,掛湯能力也不錯,亦可以加點天婦羅麵衣喔!

罐裝的貌相就知道是打卡用吧!另外一款草莓可能會可愛一些。
抹茶味不是很濃那種,但甜度適中就還可以喇。
不過蛋糕整體很濕潤,而且有幾層的口感有點不一樣,兩個人分比較不會膩。

— How cute is this! Perfect sweet treat to end the meal with that looks good and tastes great. The cream had a rich milky flavour and was super light and airy without being overly sweet. The sponge cake was equally as airy and adequately soaked in a mild syrup to give it that extra bit of sweetness. I was pretty impressed by the amount of strawberries in this, and the acidity in them really helped balance out the flavours!


Pic 2️⃣: 半熟安格斯烏龍麵 - $108 hkd 🥩
— This was a massive bowl of udon and guaranteed to fill you up! The tender angus beef slices were nicely torched to give it that aromatic roasted flavour which was really apparent in the broth. Though I personally thought the broth could’ve been slightly richer as it lacked savouriness. The udon had a nice chewy texture and cooked to perfection.

— The broth took me by surprise as it was a lot richer than I expected! The creamy texture of the broth made it easy for the udon to hold onto the flavours of the broth, meaning you could taste the intense chicken flavour in every mouthful. The char siu was also really tender with a great distribution of fat all round.


Pic 4️⃣: 南蠻炸雞 - $48 hkd
— Fried chicken was really tasty, the meat was juicy and the batter was nicely seasoned. However, it was slightly on the oily side.


⭐️Would visit again?: Yes! Great spot if you’re ever dining alone and the udon is actually really tasty!

估唔到呢度竟然有IG-able嘅罐裝牛乳蛋糕,更估唔到嘅係兩款蛋糕睇得又食得!抹茶慕絲蛋糕質感軟滑,抹茶濃郩帶回甘!個人鍾意草莓牛乳蛋糕多d,忌廉奶香十足,同酸酸甜甜嘅草莓好夾!記得留肚食甜品呀!

玉山烏龍($25)
呢度有自家冷泡茶,推薦玉山烏龍,飲嘅時候個喉嚨涼浸浸好舒服,睇返成份先知原來加咗甘草!甘中帶甜,值得一試!由於入面有茶包,所以飲完可以成個樽攞返屋企再沖多次!

I've been seeing a lot of friends posting on social media eating large bowls of Udon - so I gave myself a mission to make a visit to this Udon specialty restaurant. At around 6:45 there was a small line forming so I stood patiently inline with my SO. When it was our turn the restaurant staff told us to first choose and pay for our Udon at the Kisok. The Kiosk itself reminded me of the McDonalds Kiosk. Fairly easy to use. There was a wide variety of Udon to choose from, we had troubles picking but since I was hungry I decided to get the Curry Tonkatsu Pork Udon +10 EXTRA SIZE! My SO ordered a lighter Mentaiko Cold Udon which I was not too interested in.  After another 5 minutes wait it was our turn to sit down. 
We took our receipt and scanned it at the designated QR area. Within a couple minutes the Udon appeared right in front of me! I was surprised as the bowl and portion was huge. What I was more surprised is the bowl. The bowl is so beautifully crafted, why would a quick turn around restaurant use it
? But anyhow, my mind was on the Udon itself. Upon first bite the curry was amazing! Slightly spicy but full of Japanese character. The Tonkatsu itself remained crispy and was really delicious. After 5-6 minutes half the bowl was gone, I was getting full but decided I have to finish the bowl! Finally after stuffing myself I finished the bowl - such satisfaction
. Not sure if it was from how good the Udon taste or finishing such a huge bowl. The Udon itself was chewy and really complimented the soup. Only comment was there was a couple pieces of meat in the curry, did not know if it was pork or beef, but I can eat both so I didnt mind!

My SO really enjoyed her Mentaiko Udon and honestly it was chewier than mine. But nothing to complain as mine was very chewy as well! I am a huge fan and decided to dedicate my first review for Solo Udon! Will be back to try their Shrimp Udon as it was sold out!
