切開後,大家看見那嫩紅的色澤,便知這兒的出品無得輸。酥皮真正酥脆,附上撲鼻而來的菌香,牛肉鬆化軟熟,卻不失肉香,絕對係高水準的出品。旁邊的那瓶薯茸,又香又滑,那管它多邪惡也得多吃兩口。

Seriously. As an Aussie I reckon I know pies. The chicken pie here was beyond beyond. I was going to cut it open, have a slice, and then take a pic. But it was so good I forgot to take the pic and just kept eating. Will definitely be back to try the beef and other pies.My wife also said her Caesar was great. Especially the anchovies. Having studied in the UK, I am thrilled to eat at The Leah, which is all about "British comfort food done right" in a casual and fun setting. All of the dishes are meant to be for sharing and serve whenever they are ready - which sometimes I prefer, over long and stuffy 5 courses meal. My favourite dish is the chicken and leek pie - super succulent and flavourable, best I have tried EVER!!! The second runner up for me is the beef short rib with homemade pesto sauce and bone marrow gnocchi. All the items on the menu just hit the spot; they are satisfying and no thrills. Beef wellington and whole dover sole need to be pre-ordered and they are worth the price. Make sure you call in advance to reserve them. 

Lastly, they do good cocktails too - I did not order from the menu but asked the bartender to create something according to my preference. I had the drink at the lovely outdoor terrace before dinner, good ambiance and I felt I was not in HK. Overall this is a really nice place to come with friends, highly recommend.

Went up the back entrance into a garden that looks great for outdoor drinks, then straight into the indoor restaurant which had a green leafy decor and casual dining environment.  Had the scallops, langoustine on toast, scotch egg and wood ear mushroom risotto to start, beef wellington, finishing off with desserts (we tried ALL of them!!) - apple pie, blueberry & oat crumbela nd strawberry & sherry trifle.

The scallops had a very nice black pudding crumb that was yummy, risotto had several interesting layers to the dish, beef wellington was nicely done with the pastry crust on the outside, a nice sauce and smooth potato mash.  The crumble was the best of the 3 desserts, everything was polished off!

We had a chirpy maitre d' who decided to help us with our alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks selection, we just told him the flavours we liked and he came back with several refreshing creations (not exactly sure what they were, but good!). 

An enjoyable relaxing dinner.

今日去到剛開業嘅The Leah, 因為慕創意總監James Sharman之名,特別來拜訪。菜單係佢設計的英倫風格 Comfort Food。寬敞嘅戶外露台有草地,配上英式傳統家庭菜。今晚就有好幾台熱鬧氛圍的客人。佢其實位於Maggie&Rose,早午時段係會員制的英式私人家庭會所,好多嘢玩餐廳每晚7點開始變身為 The Leah,通過專屬的入口親臨餐廳享用晚膳,要起地下坐lift 餐廳內部則設計成溫馨的溫室,落地大窗配以盆栽我地點咗香煎帶子配以黑布丁及韮蔥煎到外層金黃而內層半生嫩滑的北海道帶子加上味道濃郁黑布丁粒粒,另外個慢煮韮蔥口感非常嫩,係整道菜色嘅點題小食就叫咗蘇格蘭流心蛋 非常香口,佢用香腸、香料、洋蔥同黑椒配上加入了燕麥的麵包碎,包住炸到完美流心的溏心鴨蛋。另外更以香草及橄欖油將多士條煎至金黃脆口。作為伴酒小食,絕對是一流的選擇。但係都幾熱氣,一定要配鬼佬涼茶:啤酒食英國菜又點可以冇批呢,香焗啤酒牛肉洋蔥餡餅用牛肋肉配上麥啤、洋蔥、大蒜等。焗製30分鐘,所以要等一陣,新鮮出爐好好味。朋友想食一啲飯,店員介紹蘑菇木耳核桃意大利飯 菜式好似個迷你版森林,有細菜芹同香芹製作意大

在網上看到這間新開的英式餐廳,看到推介的威靈頓牛柳便毫不猶疑訂枱與家人一試。位於利園二期3樓的The Leah,室外部分是草地庭園,佈置悠閒浪漫,而室內看上去像英國庭園的小磚屋,在銅鑼灣這個核心位置能有這樣的「小清新」,環境先讓人心動不已。餐廳約提供二十多款菜式,必點這裡的招牌菜威靈頓牛柳!香煎帶子配黑布丁及韭菜 - 帶子外層煎至甘香,吃上去新鮮嫩滑,配以味道濃郁的黑布丁,兩者配搭濃淡相宜。蘇格蘭流心蛋 - 作為英國著名小食,這裡溫熱的溏心蛋是以鴨蛋來造,味道比雞蛋香濃,而白麵包條炸至金黃香脆,賣相簡單但有驚喜。香焗雞肉韭葱煙肉餡餅 - 外皮鬆化,餡料豐富,雞肉與煙肉味在舌尖交替,非常滋味。蘑菇木耳核桃意大利飯 - 這個意大利飯非常迷你,菇味非常濃郁,不這整體味道偏酸,個人感覺口感一般。重頭戲終於出場:威靈頓牛柳 - 作為英國傳統手工菜,要做到牛柳與酥皮間沒有空隙、肉汁不滲到酥皮之中,在烹調時間和手藝試都常考工夫。外層酥皮鬆脆,內層牛柳煮得剛剛好,看試上去濕潤粉嫩、肉質鮮嫩多汁,內外口感各異但卻非常搭配。整體環境和食物質素都極讚,必定會回頭再試!
