We’ve previously been to dinner many times for a quiet dinner but decided to try birthday lunch at Amigo.
It’s a whole different vibe from the candlelight romantic dinner setting . Daytime gives more natural light from the windows.
Good place for a chat with friends while enjoying the food . Could tell the ingredients and food stock of their dishes is of high quality with generous portions .
especially the grilled live boston whole lobster and Ox tail stew and prime ribeye and lobster bisque were our favourites
They only have 1 round of lunch session from 12 to around 2:30pm to allow good time to enjoy the 4 courses set menu and allow time for photo taking of their collection of antiques.
The food portions of the dishes was a lot bigger than expected . The seafood and set menus were of very good value including a glass of wine and also coffee .
finally able to try their signature Mongolian raw beef appetizer , super tender and juicy, loved how they prepare it at your table
Quite an old school , local Hong Kong restaurant of long history . With a lot of senior but Friendly and helpful staff .
unique traditional old-school interior and a photo session in the female restroom Is a must
also Love their own unique style of Napoleon birthday cakes and fluffy light soufflés , it’s always a must-have on visit. And a good venue for birthday treats .
we also enjoyed the crepe suzette that is also cooked at your table , quite a cool show experience and professionally done
Would definitely take my friends there
