Went to this place on a Monday night thought it would be quiet but it's actually quite busy. Me and my friend order the Braised shank of lamb, champ mash potato, gremolata and Poached Turbot, lobster, clams, samphire, shellfish jus. I personally not a big fan of lamb but I kinda like the taste of it and I really like the mash potato that comes with it. For the Turbot, it's not too much of a good choice. I don't like it and I kinda think it's a bit fishy. I would pick Roasted Halibut over The Poa

Bread Street Kitchen and Bar @ Central. Not entirely sure where the association is with Gordan Ramsay except for branding, but I guess this is certainly a better restaurant comparing to Jamie's Italian which was absolutely terrible. For weekend brunch BSK offers a freeflow drink (sparkling wine, cocktail of the day or beer) for $188, which I actually thought was a pretty good deal. For weekend brunch BSK offers a freeflow drink (sparkling wine, cocktail of the day or beer) for $188, which I actually thought was a pretty good deal. The food was okay, the fish and chips wasn't delivered in a very generous portion but I must say thr tartar sauce is one of the best in town. The eggs benedict was rightly sized and was quite decent. I liked the place and I would probably come back for brunch here in the future.

Gordon Ramsay向來不是我杯中茶,不論其為人或菜式,雖然他是史上蘇格蘭首位3星廚師,PR做到足,電視節目又啱大衆口味,戰鬥力不容置疑;不過正如Iron Chef Mario Batali形容其菜式"dull & outdated",於我而言當代英倫廚界受尊重的人物首推Roux Brothers,Raymond Blanc及以33歲之齡奪得米芝蓮3星,霸道狂妄的Marco Pierre White(Godfather of Modern Cooking).Gordon Ramsay及Curtis Stone昔日在其旄下任職受訓,後來江湖打滾越見有名氣,而這邊箱壞孩子Pierre White不單退還米芝蓮星星,卅多歲就退休去了,尋找自己真正價值和生活.Anthony Bourdain跟他星星相惜,禮遇有嘉,反之對Gordon Ramsay不以爲意;而Jamie Oliver,Mario Batali,Eric Ripert,José Andrés亦對其充滿種族歧視的言行和自大均有所保留或感覺困擾.Gordon Ramsay跟Pierre White的交惡早在英倫廚藝界引起軒然大波,背叛同復仇情節可拍成電影.發財立品,中國人智慧他可能同様鄙視.

以今趟午餐水平而言,單以其中兩個主菜就連MasterChef首輪面試都過不到關吧,莫談"壓力測試".不知Gordon Ramsay如何評價自己餐廳出品?可會二話不說直接倒進垃圾桶..

一週年諗住同老婆食番餐好,兩口子都中環返工咁揀番間中環餐廳就正了。我本身特別好牛所以揀間食牛既,原來就無咩特別留意邊個係廚神,但聽就成日聽人講Bread street要足足幾個月前訂位,連咸爺早排都黎左香港食呢間咁就去試下。可能我星期一晚食所以幾日前訂都有位,餐廳係燈光柔和既英式舊式風格,座位排得好有空間感唔密,岩傾計既地方。黎到梗係要試佢個Beef Wellington,話晒傳統英國菜,$888係夠二人份量既,要等45分鐘,個蘇皮焗得好香脆但內裡肉質鮮嫩,重要中間有一層好香既牛肝,入口之後香味留係口度好耐。另外重點左個Tamarind spiced chicken wings $128, 呢個正可以比美Buffalo wings,少少酸味無咁滯tim。好滿意既一餐但如果好似我好肉味都係美式碳燒ribeye果d會較岩心水。值得一試

威靈頓牛柳是非常傳統的英國菜,在香港要找到而且要正宗的卻有點難度。這天是公司同事的last day,他又特別喜歡這道菜,因此訂了Gordon Ramsey的Bread Street,來歡送他。這是第二次來,好像沒以前多人,訂枱也沒開張時困難,早幾天前訂就好了。坐下不久,大廚已經出來和每張枱講解及介紹適合客人口味的食物,不說食物是否由他煮,單他這份認真和細心,已赢了不少分數!威靈頓牛柳果然名不虚傳,酥皮,磨菇(可能係牛肝)和牛柳都實實在在結合在一起,沒有分離,調味也很配合,而且肉汁保存得很好,每一口都相當滿足!藜麥沙律,醋汁撈得洽當好處,最驚喜是上面浸泡過的蘋果,相當入味但爽脆依然!吞拿魚他他,吞拿魚肉質豐實,醬汁既滑且甜,我們還用了它點面包吃,比抹牛油更好味!同事滿意食物,以後想到威靈頓牛也會相約再來。

地獄廚神的餐廳,終於可以和朋友一起試試。晚飯時間,人不多,店內也是黑黑的,店員倒是很親切,就像外國的餐廳一樣。四個人,點了四個主菜。Fish and Chips魚的份量比想像中少,炸粉也不太夠鬆脆。豆醬跟魚不很配合,所以都係沾他他醬多。Short rib Burger整齊地切開四份給我們,肉很juicy, 不錯。Semilina 意粉的份量比想像中少,但它是我喜歡的番茄芝士組合,滿意!Pork (忘記了名字)肉很嫩,醬汁調味也很好。食完已經很飽,但見隔離枱叫了一個tiramisu, 樣子很吸引,也點了一個來試試。有驚喜!有咖啡香、忌廉夠滑!食到一半才記起未影相。整體食品有質素,不過可能沒有試威靈頓牛肉同shepherd's pie,似乎未能呼應地獄廚神之名。如果再有 Happy Monday 優惠,可以再來。

We were there on a Friday (around 12:30). I had made a reservation over phone the previous day, which in hindsight was a good decision since the place was pretty packed.

We were led to our table as soon as we arrived.

Each course in the set menu had 3 choices. We decided to go for a 2-course lunch (there was also an option for 3-course).

For STARTERS, I had a mackerel pate on pickled cucumber and sourdough toast.
I must say it was quite well presented and embodied the taste of all three main ingredients.
The softness of the mackerel went perfectly with the crispness of the sourdough toast.

For the MAINS, I went for the semolina pasta. Very tasty and perfectly al Dante. The amount of sauce was optimum and there were pecan nuts sprinkled on it.
Normally, when I want something crunchy in my pasta, I'd go for breadcrumbs OR croutons. But after this dish, i'd definitely choose pecan nuts over breadcrumbs/croutons.
There was also some bok choy added to it - something new for me to see bok choy in pasta but it was a nice touch.
The quantity of the pasta was good and I felt sufficiently full afterwards.
For SIDES, we had order some mixed green vegetables.

The SERVICE was also top level. The manager, Moy was very attentive and personable. Overall we were looked after quite well.
One of these Fridays, we would certainly re-visit this place for lunch and try some of the other items on the menu.

切開牛扒見到嘅係鮮嫩嘅粉紅色,師傅煎扒火候控制得宜,外面帶焦香,而且將肉汁緊緊封鎖係入面。美中不足嘅係,牛扒質素一般,筋比較多,食落頗多渣的感覺。。

作為地獄廚神的粉絲,今天終於來到了蘭桂坊的餐廳,我們心期期待,因為在倫敦吃過所屬於他的餐廳,食物質素是不得了的,可能我期望過大吃完失望更大當我們點了食物,侍應便呈上了一籃麵包籃,麵包籃底部有熱過的石春,因為這樣做能夠保持麵包微溫暖,相當體貼👍🏻很快頭盤shrimp cocktail 就上桌了,蝦是很有鮮味的,而他的醬汁調配得宜,酸甜味剛剛好,因為我很怕有些餐廳的醬汁是沒有酸味,只有類似沙律醬的滯感,這裏就沒有這個問題接下來我們點的七成熟牛扒上桌了這味菜式我真的失望至極,牛扒沒有我想像中的淋,沒有入口即溶的感覺而且還帶有點筋,難以咀嚼,醬汁亦不是特別的令人印象深刻,相反,旁邊的香烤蔬菜就相當好食👍🏻最後到兩個甜品了一個是蘋果金寶另一個是奶凍,不算是難食,但亦沒有令人嘩然的感覺,蘋果金寶溫暖上桌,配上雪糕令雪糕球溶化,奶香深入蘋果蓉中,雪糕奶味香濃而且很滑👍🏻🍨這一頓飯以兩個甜品作結,結帳時亦不便宜,我和朋友每人大約400多元,在香港以這個價錢其實可以吃得很不錯了,地獄廚神其實只是明星效應過大

這味菜式我真的失望至極,牛扒沒有我想像中的淋,沒有入口即溶的感覺而且還帶有點筋,難以咀嚼,醬汁亦不是特別的令人印象深刻,相反,旁邊的香烤蔬菜就相當好食👍🏻

一個是蘋果金寶另一個是奶凍,不算是難食,但亦沒有令人嘩然的感覺,蘋果金寶溫暖上桌,配上雪糕令雪糕球溶化,奶香深入蘋果蓉中,雪糕奶味香濃而且很滑👍🏻🍨
這一頓飯以兩個甜品作結,結帳時亦不便宜,我和朋友每人大約400多元,在香港以這個價錢其實可以吃得很不錯了,地獄廚神其實只是明星效應過大

之前成日上網睇Gordon Ramsay煮野食,一直都好想試下佢嘅Beef Wellington, 所以就同朋友嚟咗呢度食生日飯,入到去餐廳就覺得好有英國feel,入面好大,燈光較到好暗,好有情調,好啱情侶嚟食飯。 本來好想好想叫Beef Wellington,但係份量真係太大,兩個女仔冇可能食得晒,見到隔離檯對couple叫咗,大到嚇親,食完唔使試其他野,所以都係食第樣,等下次多啲人嚟先再食。Starter 我地叫咗個Pan fried scallops,,煎得啱啱好,配埋佢個汁同伴菜,有好fresh嘅感覺,好醒胃。之後叫咗2個Main share食,一個係Grill rib eye steak,要咗5成熟,一切開啲肉係粉紅色,牛有牛味,多肉汁,啲肉唔會鞋烚烚,好林好juicy。另一個Main係Traditional shepherd's pie,要咗黑椒味,上面係薯蓉,下面係羊肉碎撈埋其他配菜,啲羊肉一啲都唔羶,不過我就覺得冇乜羊味,啲羊肉味俾啲黑椒味蓋過咗。 Side dish叫咗粗薯條,熱辣辣好好食。兩個人埋單食咗$700幾蚊,價錢都算可以接受。

Very generous portion of carpaccio, tender seabass with lemon juice, but the avocado was too mild and barely for decoration only

Mains:::
😑Butter fried cod was over cooked but the fat chips yummmm😋😋😋😋 .
Suppose this is one of the signatures from the restaurant but our cod was obviously overlooked than others, as the shell was at darker shade of brownie colour

😍10 oz rib eye steak (+$148) it's served in medium rare of which we were expecting medium, it's pink in it and quite difficult to chewy but we love the charcoal grilled flavour from the gravy sauce😋 we were too full to finish it off thou😵 .

Desserts:::
🤤😋🤤😋Strawberry Eton Mess 😋😋😋😋 great balance of sourness, creaminess and crunchiness thou the cream is super-milky .
😋HOT Sticky toffee pudding, expected sweet and it's still bearable .

☕️🍵Iced cappuccino with ultra creamy foamy 🤤😋

😋9/10 likely to be on our foodie list

因為朋友好想食 wellington steak就嚟咗 bread street 食牛喇 😛好 juicy 😋 不過好似唔係 regular 嘅菜式擺盤亂中有序 😂 味道唔錯appetiser 一定要食生冷嘢,開胃啲甜品好大份,睇得幾靚但好酸環境不錯,好啱一班朋友嚟食

We have participated this Gordon Ramsay asiamiles event and they gave me a table that we don't want and I can see many tables are actually vacant at the next session and keep telling us to wait and said Gordon Ramsay will come by and give you a hug! blah blah blah. I don't mind if you said he would not come by but don't tell us a stupid lie! What a poor management as he left already! It is just wasting my time! The food is just mediocre and we were so disappointed as being treated as a fool. I h

大鄉里首次一嘗 Beef Wellington, 結果令我十分滿意和驚喜,因此也誠意推薦給喜歡飲食的朋友。雖然食物需要 45 分鐘製作時間,但慢工出細貨,果然品質優良,名不虛傳。牛柳肉質非常嫩滑,帶有蘑菇和牛肉的香味,外圍的酥皮鬆化,突顯這道菜的特色。甜品是 Pineapple carpaccio with coconut sorbet,菠蘿又薄又鮮味,和椰子電芭是很好的配搭。同時,菠蘿的酸性也能有助消化,可算是相得益彰。
