I am surprised that Casa Lisboa opens on Sunday now and they serve Sunday brunch from 11:30am to 3pm! It's a set brunch menu that you can choose 3-course or 4-course from their full menu! Price is very attractive and if you pay HKD100 more you can dip yourself into the free-flow Sangria, Vinho Vendre or Sparkling Wine  I like it's not a buffet style because I always think people waste many food when they have buffet. I decided to take the 4-course set menu and first I ordered a jar of free flow sangria to start the lovely Sunday! I am a big fan of Sangria but I found it's not easy to have a nice one here in HK, most of the bars or restaurants make it too sweet by putting too much sugar or juice. But since it was recommended by the Manager here so I decided to give it one more try! To my surprised, this Sangria is just perfect! Not too sweet and not too strong yet still fruity with the freshness of lemon and orange. Very well-balanced and I am in love with it!

1. Complimentary Snack : Love the homemade bread and the dippings are not as common as just butter, vingar and olive oil, instead it's tuna paste, portugese cheese and homemade butter with herbs. All are lovely and I can't stop eating (Diet plan postponed) >.<

2. Starter: I ordered the sautee clams with onion, tomato and chilli. This dish is little bit spicy but I love spicy!! I was already drooling when I smell it...The clams were so fresh and when swimming in onion, tomato and chilli sauce are just great (Dont forget to dip your bread into it). I can't help but finished the whole pot

3. Salad: I ordered the Octopus Salad with Lime Oil. The presentaton is lovely and the octopus was tender! The garlic and lime oil mixed very well with the octopus and it stimulated my appetite

4. Main Course: Fresh Bacalhau with calms, lemon and coriander. I'm really impressed how tender and delicious this piece of Bacalhau tasted. I can feel the fish oil running in my mouth and the special taste of this fish came out nicely with the lemon and coriander sauce. I will definitely come back and have it again!

Tips for all the eaters here. The restaurant is running a campagine to give out HKD100 cash voucher for people who upload the photos or tag them on Facebook during their visit. Don't miss it! I had a very pleasant and enjoyful Sunday afternoon and sure I will be back! 


題外話/補充資料: There are so many choices on the menu and you can ask help from the Restaurant manager Billy. He's very patient and will explain the taste of every dish to you! Thank you so much Billy!!

Entrees:

Sliced Presunto (PAta Negra) on a wooden board
Gambas ao Alho
Chourico assado (Roasted in front of us)

Main course (sharing)

Bacalhau a bras
Seafood Rice
Porco assado (roasted suckling pig)
Galinha a Piri Piri (Macau style chicken)

Deserts: Selected
Pears cooked in port wine
Fruit salads
Caramel Pudding

Complimentary Port for all!

Wine: (the only thing i selected) : Reguengos reserve 2010.

On the Table: Bread, Olives and Butter and 2 other pates.

The verdict:

Presunto: The Pata Negra was excellent well cut and well presented! just right with the Whiskeys we were having!

Gambas ao alho: Although not cold water Shrimps, the chef got the spices just right! Excellent!

Chourico assado: It was roasted just in front of us!! The smell is mouth watering! Just sad that the bread was too fancy! The bread should be a more basic bread (Italian style) but also delicious!

Bacalhau a Bras ( Salted Cod Fish) This was delicious ... I wanted all for myself!

Seafood rice: Once again the seasoning was just right to hide the "warm water" seafood sweetness!

Leitao Assado ( suckling Pig ) Well this was too close to the HK style suckling pig ... and the sauce was not the original! So i will restrain from commenting on this ... But others on the table loved it!

Galinha a Piri Piri: Ok, good but chicken always will always come last on my menu selection, specially after such great dishes

Wine - Reguengos:

Excellent wine from the south of Portugal, served at the exact temperature and decanted!! It was divine! If you like uncomplicated Mediterranean wines do have a try!

Service: It took a little too long for things to start arriving at the table... But once they did ... it was 2 hours of Gastronomic bliss.

The service was excellent... Starting with the friendliness, professionalism and help given by the Restaurant Manager and then we had a surprise visit to the table by the head Chef Nelson!

Will be back very soon!!… and next time "I WILL NO SHARE" … The bacalhau will be all for me!

Note of encouragement: Can you please get the Musicians to play something that is not SPANISH!!

Congratulations to all with a special mention to Chef Nelson (an artist at work)!
Note: For the service, environment and food, i expected to pay twice what i did and i would have not complained! Thank you!

This was my first time to try a portuguese restaurant in Hong Kong. For me, dining at a portugese restaurant is a must-do thing every time visiting Macau. The lunch set was a 3-course set (soup/salad, main dish, desert).
We had
Seafood soup--smell good but weak in flavour

Octopus salad--the texture of the octopus was perfect, not too chewy, not too mushy.

Suckling pig with rice and chips--crispy skin and tender meat. Texture of the meat was so tender that I thought I was eating chicken meat. Rice served with suckling pig was strong-flavoured. Chips was crispy but a little too greasy.

Fruit salad with lemon sorbet--very refreshing especially after eating the suckling pig

Crumble apple with vanilla ice-cream--average

I think the restaurant was understaffed. Our table was not properly set. The waitperson forgot to give me 1 more set of silverware for my salad. Also, I had to wait a long time before having someone to take my orders. The staff there were nice though.

It was muggy and nasty on a Saturday night. Fool that I am, I suggested that my wife and I go try this Sichuan place that was like a 45 minute walk from our house, with no reservation. Oh, and that we should walk there. Of course, they were booked. We wandered back toward LKF, my beard soggy with sweat. Where could we eat? I would literally eat anything that came with air conditioning and a beer. But it's LKF on a Saturday. Everything's packed. And then!Sweet Casa Lisboa. My savior. And really g

It was muggy and nasty on a Saturday night. Fool that I am, I suggested that my wife and I go try this Sichuan place that was like a 45 minute walk from our house, with no reservation. I would literally eat anything that came with air conditioning and a beer. But it's LKF on a Saturday. Everything's packed. And then!

Sweet Casa Lisboa. My savior. And really good food too! Here's what we had:

Olives: The best olives I have ever had in my life. I tasted garlic and oregano, but that can't be what made them so amazing. I literally asked for more. They were that good. A+

Octopus salad: Octopus is easily one of my favorite seafoods when cooked right. Almost no one cooks it right. I got an octopus salad at Rick's on the escalators and it was chewier than Han Solo's friend. But this was some tasty, tender octopus. Not as tender as it could have been, but still impressive. A-

Pork with clams: This dish also had lemon, black olives (not the amazing olives. Just plain black ones), and potatoes. The clams were juicy and full of flavor. The pork was firm and dry, but in a good way, and also tasty. It's difficult to describe what the dish was like as a whole-- seafood, pork, and citrus will do that to you. But it was pretty good. A-

Salt cod (bacalhau) with roast potatoes and greens: I like Portugese salt cod, but man is it intense! My wife and I were lucky to be sharing this-- I don't think either of us could have got through the whole thing on our own. The greens and potatoes were great, and came with an unnecessary oily sauce. The fish itself was a little oily-- the skin was fatty and crispy. A-

I gave everything an A-. Don't take that in a bad way. It was all "excellent" (that's what the "A" means), but in the low range of what I consider to be excellent (hence the "-"). But don't get me wrong: it was excellent and I will not hesitate to eat here again.

On a final note, we got a free glass of port at the end of the meal. And not because our orders were messed up or anything-- just straightforward generosity. Every restaurant is trying to turn a profit. But so few places in Hong Kong realize you have to give a little to get a little-- place your money grubbing avariciousness outside the faces of your customers, and every now and again take a small expense that you don't need to take to reward them. They will reward you back.

And I should point this out. I was sweaty and poorly dressed, and I can't tell a serving fork from a salad fork. I was treated with nothing but class, even though I didn't have any class myself. Big plus in my book.
題外話/補充資料: There were mariachis. Or whatever the Portuguese version of a mariachi is. They played over by people's tables... luckily not ours. I'm totally down with live music, but strangers watching me eat and singing in my face is not relaxing.

2012年過去了,迎接2013年來臨的那一日和夜我們都很忙碌,不知不覺就倒數,不知不覺就過去了,幸得一眾兄弟姊妹們的合作努力。為了先好好報答我的好朋友在當日的付出,讓我順利成為人妻,我們兩夫妻就選址這裡,與她吃頓葡菜宴。這間在蘭桂坊的葡菜與附近的西班牙菜Ole為同一集團,向來我們都很喜歡Ole,自然就對這間姊妹店有expectation。裝修方面的確與Ole的風格相似,一入門口就有兩位結他男士在彈奏,而燈光也是帶點昏暗浪漫。我們的座位旁則有隻大火腿,真想把它搬回家!既然有火腿,我們也定要來客iberico ham佐酒,是晚的酒類飲品是sangria,味淡如水,別說酒味,連果汁味都太少,不推介。喜歡這客火腿不太鹹,油份也不多,所以入口”肉”的感覺較重,用手吃也不會弄得滿手指都是油。如果你是go for半肥瘦的火腿,這客就準叫你我望,但今次就合我心意。另一份頭盤就要了saute clams,名乎其實是saute!!鹽份很重,吃不到蜆肉的鮮甜,只有鹹味。奇怪的是,雖說蜆肉給鹽醃得鹹鹹的,但有數隻蜆竟然有沙,叫我們更失望。幸好前菜中也有客沙律來中和晚餐的鹽份。簡單的來客葡式沙律,只需要主角沙律

既然有火腿,我們也定要來客iberico ham佐酒,是晚的酒類飲品是sangria,味淡如水,別說酒味,連果汁味都太少,不推介。

鹽份很重,吃不到蜆肉的鮮甜,只有鹹味。奇怪的是,雖說蜆肉給鹽醃得鹹鹹的,但有數隻蜆竟然有沙,叫我們更失望。

幸好前菜中也有客沙律來中和晚餐的鹽份。

簡單的來客葡式沙律,只需要主角沙律菜夠新鮮爽甜、有夠陳的醋我就已滿足。在吃蜆的同時,沙律忽然受到大家的歡迎~

有時覺得才得數件乳豬實在太少,不過我都不過是眼闊肚窄罷了,尤其是這客乳豬,吃得多會鹽份超標!先讚一讚其肉質吧,果然如BB般嫩滑,燒得油份都跑到肉面,雖然很罪惡,但不得不說很吸引!唯一的壞處就如剛才所說般,太鹹了!另外,我們也很喜歡伴碟的炸薯格和味飯,都是配乳豬的好拍檔。

一向吃馬介休都是”炸馬介休薯球”等菜式,原件grill,這是第一次。

馬介休是葡國人的鹹魚,回想起來,吃原件鹹魚似乎很不智,畢竟我們不是老人家,味覺還是敏銳的啊!我們一致認為,魚的鮮味都被鹹味蓋過了,不過在肉質上又的確吃得出貨源質素高,質地實在,是一片一片地吃的,也很白淨。墊底的薯仔其實發揮很大功效,獨自吃就淡無味,與魚一同進食就中和了鹹味。這次是一個體驗吧,但下次,我們還是不會原件grill的。

焗鴨飯是我很喜歡的葡國菜。

讚的是這個飯面焗得焦脆,中式的飯焦在底,葡式的則在面,可以先吃飯焦,確實香口。鴨絲肉也做到一口飯一口鴨,而且鴨味濃郁,我是”幫襯”得最多的一位。不過大部分餐廳做這個菜都有一個問題,就是飯超級油 (這也是飯有鴨味的其中一個原因吧),這裡的也不例外。飯的底部油多得可以再煮一個菜!此時此刻,小妹就懷念在澳門某一餐廳吃到不油膩的焗鴨飯....

無論你吃甜點與否,餐廳都附送每人一杯port wine。

我喜歡砵酒的甜中帶碘的味道,很奇怪的口味吧?不過葡國就的確是出產砵酒的國家,在葡國餐廳喝砵酒也很有意思。這杯port,碘味比較重,三人中就只有我一個會喝!

當時不知哪裡來的胃口,吃罷上述的食物其實都很撐胃,但我竟然要吃甜品!點了個大眾情人朱古力蛋糕 (全名為傳統葡萄牙朱古力蛋糕)

傳統與否就無法評論了,但說到朱古力的濃郁度就只是medicore,口感是乾身的海綿蛋糕加不夠濕潤的mousse,整體一般而已。只是我crave for dessert,所以又是我包底!

好友與我都認為同集團的Ole比它更出色,更對我們的胃口,看來在香港我們仍未找到合心意的葡菜館呢。

好快有麵包同OLIVE。有心意地用餐巾包好因為係仲暖既豬仔包
唔係我特別有興趣既包但我對佢既三種醬有興趣
其實係牛油,CREAM CHEESE同一種魚醬

第一樣係我食完最滿意既
不論係賣相味道都一流既馬介休球
佢係前菜唔係MAIN。佢有幾隻馬介休球菜式係主菜
平時馬介休球多數係炸左啡色一個波冇咩特別
但依個好精緻。個底係碎既馬介休,比一個炸香左既薯蓉球盛住
好惹味好有口感。碟上既醬 其實冇咩味的

配菜有薯片炒飯同GRAVY SAUCE
出色係個皮真係好脆。肉同一層既脂肪好分明
GRAVY味唔濃所以其實個豬唔叫做好惹味
賣相可以更好因為上黎時有種切完亂放既感覺
個人覺得肉可以再嫩D。個人鐘意比較惹味既烤乳豬
所以唔太鐘情這個

焗鴨飯顏色好深夠哂熱
個表面好夠脆食落好有口感。
但就唔係好多鴨肉所以鴨味唔夠
整體黎講唔算油。連住上面既烤香腸食就會可口好多
反而主打冇馬介休球咁得我心

豬柳炒蜆」Pork Loin with Clams Alentejana Style(散點價 $220)同樣不容錯過,這道葡國名菜在餐廳大廚的巧手烹調下味道甚佳
,豬柳與蜆更是出乎自己意料的多
,而且十分入味,加上配角的薯仔、蘿蔔、黑橄欖等,味道濃郁。下了檸檬為調味的這道菜式還帶有少許檸檬的芳香和微酸的味道,使這道本應較為油膩的菜式不覺膩滯,特別是那些煮得軟腍可口的豬柳和薯仔,自己甚為喜歡,絕對是一道自己極為滿意的菜式

焗黃金蘋果伴雲尼拿雪糕」Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream(散點 $80)是老婆仔的選擇。這蘋果金寶的酥皮十分酥脆,裡面熱暖的的蘋果肉也酸甜適度,配上冰凍的雲尼拿雪糕,冷熱交纏,都算美味
。要是和「傳統葡萄牙朱古力蛋糕」相比,我就喜歡這個甜品多些了。

跟朋友說起胡椒蝦才發現曾經很受歡迎的Nino’s Cozinha 已經結業,那香港哪裡還有好吃的葡國菜呢?近來中環LKF TOWER的風頭都好像被西班牙代表Boqueria 搶去,不過開業不久主打葡國菜的 Casa Lisboa 星期一的晚上也有8成入座率,應該也不錯吧。馬介休是葡菜之星,一定要吃,這裡的馬介休有幾種做法有炸有焗有炸有主菜有頭盤,這夜點了馬介休波,真名是薯茸馬介休,球狀,薯茸就放在裡面和馬介休一起焗,皮很脆,不過略嫌不夠咸,馬介休其實是咸魚,唔咸的咸魚實在失色,灑一點鹽便剛剛好。頭盤還有Sauté Clams ,蜆隻新鮮肥美也夠份量,不錯。看見鄰座人人都在燒腸,於是也點了Pork Flambee 即是葡式豬肉腸,侍應即時在你面前把腸燒熱,切開,趁熱即刻食,因為凍少少已覺太硬。葡式主菜,沒有胡椒蝦,還有燒乳豬 suckling pig 一流,皮脆肉嫩,醃得好味, 為了這味豬會再回來。主菜二, 鴨飯, 這裡的鴨飯是中式煲仔飯的反轉版, 飯焦在面, 第一口鴨味不算濃,但隔一晚拿出來叮一叮, 更加入味, 這個飯提議大家帶走吃;不過$210 得一小砵, 都算貴。

這個餐包於點菜前奉上,麵包只是微暖,有點失望~ 附上的三種醬卻有點特別,起碼在街外很少吃到最遠的那個醬:由近至遠應該分別是牛油、CREAM CHEESE及魚醬 (不知是甚麼魚,味道有點像吞拿魚)~

Seafood Cream Soup (4分) - 即海鮮湯,是朋友推介的,可是我們三人卻不約而同地喝到煲燶的味道,於是決定跟侍應反映,卻發現原來我們三人也不知「煲燶」的英文怎樣說,最後決定用「BURNT」來形容,看到侍應有點摸不著頭腦的樣子,我們實在忍不住的笑了,最後他們也明白問題所在,經理讓我們再挑另一頭盤,經理推介八爪魚沙律,便膽粗粗試了~

Octopus Salad with Lime Oil (8分) - 賣相相當不錯,想不到平日入吃煙靭無比的八爪魚竟能於入口時如此幼嫩及軟身!原本對八爪魚有點抗拒的我,也不得不稱讚廚師的功力!這個八爪魚實在是整個沙律的焦點,再配上我喜愛的火箭菜,這個沙律實在令人想把它吃光!唯一可以更進步的是沙律醬汁,有點過多Olive oil,可是,這不就是葡國菜的特色嗎﹖

Roasted suckling pig Bairrada style (8分) - 這個是葡式烤乳豬,脆脆的豬皮下是鮮嫩的豬肉,配上新鮮炸起的薯格,薯格很香薯仔味,炸得恰到好處,不會太乾或唔夠脆,不消一會我便把它們消滅了!另一附上的炒飯,應是與豬的內臟切粒一起炒,很香濃的豬香味,不過配烤豬一起吃難免有點滯;幸好還有另一伴碟,香橙片,感覺有點滯時切點橙肉來吃,大大減少了飽滯感~ 總括來說,這個菜廚師必是花了很多心思來配搭,是有誠意之作~

Fruit Salad with Lemon Sorbet (5分) - 由於實在有點滯,決定點生果及酸酸的Lemon Sorbert 來消消滯。Sorbet的酸遠遠蓋過了水果的味道,這道甜品除了賣相挺好之外,只有酸味了~

香腸入口鹹勁強烈,質感帶點韌性,除鹹味外吃未能嚐到任何香料或蒜香,還是夾著麵包同吃較為舒服,又或可於吃後送上碟中的酸菜粒來中和鹹度。

我要了 Grilled Bacalhau with Vegetables, Capsicum and Patato in Olive Oil,即馬介休魚。平日馬介休多是混著薯仔、雞蛋或蔬菜等同煮,還是第一趙以魚柳方式品嚐馬介休。

馬介休面層帶有燒烤的痕跡,叉子輕輕在魚肉上一壓,魚肉即像鮮鱈魚般順著紋路斷開,形成俐落的長方魚塊。魚肉緊緻、入口軟滑中富彈性、馬介休鹹鮮魚的獨特香氣與溫和的鹹香隨隨送上,相信馬介休的選材極佳。

配菜有橄欖油蕃茄與青椒小粒、頂部放上不辣的小青椒、後面兩個薯香滿溢的小薯,總體的配撘皆令人滿心歡喜。至於兩條翠綠的菜心,則令我們有點意外,應該是廚師的就地取材吧!

看到鄰座的食客在享用餐湯,4隻為食鬼也貪心的要來了萄國經典的 Traditional Green Vegetable Soup with Chorizo,侍應接到4支湯匙的要求也不禁笑了。

湯底濃厚而不膩,最愛的菜香活現,面上還放有3片萄式辣肉腸,大家對此湯都感覺良好,但我個人還是認為薯味再濃一點會更加完美。

紅酒給喝得七七八八了,老公欲試 Sangria。Sangria 只帶一瓣檸檬點綴,一試沒有果香、也沒有酒香,平淡兼乏味,做功似乎馬虎極了。

"培訓S" 選了Grilled Chicken with White Wine and Lemon。女侍應再次端來了小摺枱,再加上一輛餐車。車上放有甚具看頭的架子,雞隻不單被串在架上,肚子更狠狠地被插上了一把長長的刀子,火焰又將雞隻烤著,引得鄰座的男食客也過來一睹其風采。

燒烤片刻,女侍應像大俠一樣將刀子拉出,雞隻放到摺枱上被逐一分解,然後放到碟子的中央位置,繼而將預設的醬汁淋上。

特設的碟子還盛有白飯、紅椒及薯仔,令人看得雀躍。

雞皮是軟軟的,不算油膩,最初入口時味道溫和,但愈吃就愈吃不出任何特色來,酒香與檸檬似乎不太著跡,還是前奏比食味為之吸引。餐牌上寫著二人的份量,其實絕對足夠予4人享用。

萄式焗鴨飯賣相平平,不過味道倒令人十分滿意。鴨片鹹香,米飯軟硬適中,味帶香料及鴨香,足以證明簡單就是美的道理。

由於大家肚皮已漲得很,沒有再試甜品的慾念,侍應便給我們送來葡萄牙的餐後甜 Port 酒。

Casa Lisbo 原來跟 Ole 屬同一集團,印象中 Ole 的味道較為合意。這頓生日飯聚感覺自己在看 Show 多於享受食物的美味。

題外話/補充資料: 餐廳型造的氣份確實不錯,看到一對男女手牽著手、頭貼著頭含情蜜蜜地聽著面前樂手為他們獻唱,畫面太醉人了!

先來餐前麵包,雖是午市繁忙時間,但也不馬虎
暖烘烘的麵包配上香滑牛油本已不錯,還有另外兩款的芝士和魚醬供選配
芝士帶淡淡的奶香,似為味蕾作好熱身
結果令餐包的味道也變化更多,印象更深刻

前菜可從沙侓或湯品類選擇,選了雞肉雜菜沙律和海鮮湯各一
這類的海鮮湯頗不錯的,味道鮮甜,充滿着極濃郁的海鮮味
湯料也不少,尤其是蜆肉,肥而飽滿

雞肉雜菜沙律份量適中,配以鮮嫩的雜菜
混了醒胃的酸醋,無疑是開胃之選
雞肉也很嫩滑,但肉味稍欠
不過,若款前菜選一,還是以海鮮湯為必然正選

前菜已很稱心,主菜更是期待

燒乳豬是這裡的名物,不可不點
只得三塊不夠飽肚?還有伴碟的炒飯
乳豬油香撲鼻,油脂也帶起了整體的味道
外皮不脆是美中不足的地方,肉也較薄身,不過,性價比,整體已是不錯了
吃過最好的,仍然是澳門新葡京內的”8”那原隻烤乳豬,的確,我們的舌頭被寵壞了

鴨肉切成幼絲,入口也相當嫩口,不錯的
同時間,又令我們再次回味澳門九如坊的焗鴨飯,也是同樣精彩

已吃得半飽(誰再敢說這午餐將會就貨呢?) ,還有甜品環節的
老實說,相比起前菜和主菜,這裡的甜品是遜色一點了

打從在九如坊吃過精彩的一碟,對其他的葡國餐廳所做的木糠布甸也沒太太期望
今次吃到的也算是恰如其分,不是難吃,但也不見突出
與剛吃過的燉蛋如出一徹,口感也是較creamy的,畢竟我們還是較喜歡有口感的那款

用膳期間,F小姐是位有潛質的畫家,也拿出她的心血作品
原來是她送給架架妹的一份生日驚喜,是一幅鴨的水墨畫,維妙維肖,真的十分感謝!

吃過質素不俗,價錢也相宜,不久也再與同事再次光臨
其中吃了主菜頗深刻的,也在此順道分享
兩款主菜,分別是 豬肉炒蜆和海鮮炒蜆,都以砵仔上枱

其中以魚肉最搶眼,入口鮮嫩,配以香汁十分惹味

食物有質素,價錢也十分實惠(尤其是午市套餐)
雖然餐廳似乎人手不足,服務效率還是有待改善
不過除此以外,這裡還是值得一來再來的!

Owned by veteran restaurateur, Carmelo Lopez, who brought us Ole Spanish Restaurant & Wine Bar, Casa Lisboa is the place for honest, traditional Portuguese dishes.

Conveniently situated in LKF Tower, the offerings in Casas Lisboa are generous and reliable. There is a 3-course set lunch for $168, which allows you to pick any appetiser, main course and dessert from the à la carte menu, and also comes with coffee/tea. After not stepping foot in the restaurant for half a year, I was delighted to find that the high standards of the food have been maintained!

(1) For appetisers, the Seafood cream soup and the Octopus salad with lime oil were simple and marvellous. The soup was full of flavours and had a robust portion of fresh and tender clams, and the octopus in the salad was well marinated and wholesome.

(2) The appetisers were followed by the Grouper with a crust of seafood, which was freshly brought to us from the kitchen. The grouper was beautifully char-grilled on the outside, and it was still warm and succulent on the inside. The fish was then drizzled with lemon juice, and served with grilled veggies cooked in broth on the side.

(3) Then came one of my favourite dishes, the Roasted suckling pig Bairrada style! This is a reduced portion of the à la carte dish, and the amazingly crispy skin of a suckling pig always brings a smile to my face! Underneath the skin, the pork meat was still moist and indulgently soft. It was served with some Portuguese rice on the side, which was soft and delicious, with dices of chorizo which added not only meaty flavours but also a fantastic bite.

(4) After that, we had some steak cooked in two different ways. The first was the Steak Portuguese Style, which was fabulously char-grilled, and had a nice and firm texture. The thickness of the steak was just right, and the potato chips on the side could be dipped in the meat jus. The second one was Beef with 3 pepper sauce or mushroom sauce. This steak was just as good as the Steak Portuguese Style, but it was instead cooked in a mushroom sauce, and was cutely adorned with boiled choy sum and a sunny side up. The mushroom sauce was creamy and delicious, and did not overpower the slightly fatty steak.

(5) The Apple crumble with vanilla ice cream (top left) had fantastically crunchy and buttery crumble on top, and the apple was thinly sized, which made the flavours more delicate. The cinnamon taste was very subtle, but it tasted fine to me. The Traditional Portuguese chocolate cake (top right) had excellent taste, with the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness and strong, delightful chocolate flavours. The Portuguese egg pudding with ice cream (middle right) was fluffy, soft and delectable, and I loved how it was slightly burned on the surface! Last but not least, my beloved Serradura, which was made with sweetened biscuit, egg and cream. Even though there were not enough biscuit bits, which rendered the texture a bit plain, the Serradura was scrumptiously creamy and I certainly enjoyed every spoonful!

With delightful Portuguese food only at around $200 per head for lunch and $300-400 per head for dinner, Casa Lisboa is a fantastic venue for foodie gatherings with friends!
