In summary: Didn’t really expect much for $780. But the “satisfying” level of this lunch was pitiful even by my standards. Not to mention the wobbly table, the Persistent mosquito, massive gap in between courses and the Grumpy waitress. The only positive thing was the excellent service from the young French waiter. Unfortunately his cheerful and helpful attitude had no effect on his colleagues.
Reminder to self: think twice before agreeing to attend any more “pop ups”.

慶祝紀念日的一天選擇了這一間米芝蓮二星的法國菜餐廳, 甜點是較為令人驚喜的菜色, 其他的只能說是不過不失, 甚至是signature的主菜也沒有什麼特別的地方, 味道較為單一, 沒有預期的層次; 只可以講呢個價錢以及星, 正常客人會有更高嘅期望吧!

the caviar and uni tart was no doubt stunning, fresh as can be, simultaneously creamy and melty - I confess it’s worth breaking bank for the supplement charge (no regrets) 💯 secondly, if you’re not into delicacies, maybe it’s best you don’t Google what shirako is but I personally like it lol, and this particular one is cooked in beignets dough, pickled radish, watermelon spicy persimmon jam.

already cheekily previewed the turbot and it absolutely blew my mind, theatrical - and I love it! Just really appreciated how a blank turbot canvas transformed into a butterfly sort of moment ✨ the sauce vin jaune was so good, really a smokey punch of flavour with chorizo and ikura! The pigeon wasn’t too bad, but think I’ve already been won over by the first main hehe!

dessert never fails to satisfy me, my chosen pear sorbet really was the cherry on top, quite liked the peanut praline tucked away, but it was the frozen pear that just elevated it with that extra oomph 🥹 was super lovely honestly & yet there’s the les gourmandises left to finish Japanese strawberries, chocolate tart and tropézienne … just happily stuffed I’ll tell you that, just take me back already!

staff was super attentive the entire duration of lunch, I was the first to arrive and also the last to leave 🤭

This is the level you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. It is not particularly outstanding.
Incidentally, a glass of champagne costs $450, or $280 for the cheapest brand. This may not be a bad deal if you discount it as a fee for excellent service and use of washroom facilities.
Like other restaurants, it is annoying that many Chinese people eat in this restaurant while fiddling with their smartphones.

Just look at the pic (from my dinner there on Jul 29, 2002) which is supposed to be summer ratatouille with indigo tomato “enratatouille” wrap in kumbu compare to the same dish (look up Ecriture in Instagram) where someone went there and had the same dish…The service was horrible. When we gave our feedback that all the food that came with sauces were overflowing the food, we were told we should inform the serving stuff that we do not want sauce, but how are we who are diners know how best the di

The service was horrible. When we gave our feedback that all the food that came with sauces were overflowing the food, we were told we should inform the serving stuff that we do not want sauce, but how are we who are diners know how best the dish should be served (just look the pics). The fact of the matter isn’t we don’t want sauce but not like the pic where you can’t even see what’s the dish.
The bottle of champagne served wasn’t chill even after I tested it and informed the sommelier it need to be chill a little longer but he didn’t wait for sufficient time to serve so when we informed the sommelier he responded asking if we want ice to go with our champagne! This went from one of my favourite restaurant to delisted from my list esp when one pays HKD 3,500 per person for a meal

Came here for lunch on a 1T typhoon signal but had a very relaxing time as the resturant only had a few tables.This is the second time we have been here and the food quality continues to be a very high standard. The menu have changed since the last time we were here, we took 5 courses lunch menu.Our favourite item remains the Uni Tart, which needs add-on $$$ to the menu. Chef was kind enough to offer us cheese platter and fruits for our dessert course as we did not take dessert.


Overall a very good meal but be prepared to spend a few hours there to enjoy 😋😋😋

The least favourite dish of the day. Especially when they introduce the carcass jelly as “leftover chicken jus”. There’s no flavour at all. The pheasant is beyond dry. Quite disappointed.

頭盤芝士球擺放得非常別緻,在雪山狀的圓碟上放了一枚紙製的基座,那黑色的紙托彷彿像咱們兒時所玩的東南西北。於山峰處才是正品,而芝士球上面再有魚子。入口芝味豐濃,魚子的鹹香跟芝士交繪共融。配酒方面有來自法國的甜酒,以濃對濃。

覺得有點膩嗎?不怕,紅菜頭梨子可清一清喉,中間還配有烙神花汁。日式蕃茄草莓伴吞拿也非常清新,讓人有胃口再添一件鋪了小小煙火腿的法式西多士。

當咱們都已然甚飽的時候最震撼的正品出場了!萬分期待的魚子海膽撻以六人份呈獻,眼看碩大的一個批上面鋪滿了魚子,眾人都驚艷得合不攏嘴!這絕對是金錢的味道!生日願望:希望有一天咱們家中的魚子存量可媲美甚至超越凡人家中的米缸 - 常滿也!

純粹魚子尚嫌未夠?下面還有濃郁的海膽!一啖入口魚子的鹹香與海膽的豐潤相得益彰,此曲只應天上有,人間哪得幾回聞?我的天!品嚐了這客魚子海膽批,小的於願足矣!這道菜式是無論怎麼膩都依然吃得下,而且更是多多益善。

接下來的松露帶子亦不遑多讓,帶子在清洗乾淨後起肉再放上一片松露,以原隻帶子殼封好,外面再鋪一層麵包皮。利用酥皮湯的原理把松露香氣保存,並在炭火烤焗的過程中使松露滋香沁入帶子裡。帶子的淡雅清甜把松露獨有氣息極盡呈現。

昆布炙赤鯥,再和以魚湯。此菜和風味甚濃故亦特意配上清酒。赤鯥魚脂豐厚,火炙能讓脂香更顯突出。以為白色的汁底是忌廉?非也,這是以魚骨熬成的白湯,與赤鯥本是同根生,一湯一餚相映成趣。

主食和牛近乎全生,入口非常嫩滑。不過最出類拔萃莫過於那以迷迭香草煙薰而成的魚子,把煙火味道帶領到牛肉上。小的大開眼界,魚子既可伴海膽,原來還可以煙薰!吃過這一餐,小的從井底爬上水面了!

干娜心巧,訂檯前早安排了老伴的生日蛋糕,為了這份驚喜她一直忍住不離席。眾裡尋她千百度,豈知要找的原來一直都在身邊。侍應把案上的一本書打開,裡面居然藏著老伴的生日蛋糕!這驚喜真的相當有心絲。

Écriture係米芝蓮二星法國餐廳 到下集啦‼️喜知次 (Kinki) 稱為「海洋的紅寶石」,將喜知次魚內裏塞滿歐洲馬鹿肉,配上白朱古力牛油醬同煙熏魚子醬。鹿肉味道騷,喜之次油分同肉質都吾出色野鴨(Wild Duck) 用上味道濃郁既法國鴨、幼滑活海膽、藍紋乳酪方形意大利雲吞,最後同沙巴翁醬一齊食。海膽味道較濃偏腥,野鴨肉係好幼嫩,但雲吞好硬松雞 (Grouse) 係黑肉野禽,菜式製作方法似紅酒燉牛肉,加左蜂蜜、發酵既紅李子再配上加入煙燻鰻魚既Paimpol 可可豆吉士。呢碟太過鹹,遮晒所有味道到甜品榲桲 (Quince) 既清爽,除味覺,由新鮮時令榲桲雪芭、糖漬果、肉紅菜頭沙律製成。肥仔話超怪有藥水味🙄真係想鬧爆佢吾識食🥰我就好鍾意~清淡而輕嘅木李味雪粑加上紅菜頭獨特青澀味😋食完有飛咗上天嘅感覺最後甜品菜式榛子 (Hazelnut) 梳芙厘撻,配以梨雪芭&意大利阿爾巴白松露。白松露同個甜品唔配合,李雪粑好清甜,疏乎厘撻好香脆,香脆到要用啲力去食。我覺得少喺甜品食到白松露,同個撻都係鹹🤨冇話配唔配合同上篇好唔同,肥仔話要親自寫味道😅精而簡wo‼️你問我好唔好食?我都吾知,全部野都未食過都

~肥仔話揀正常個菜單(平啲)應該會安全,因為菜式唔會太過特別
~菜單會隨時轉,所以黎食前喺網上睇咗菜單先或者打去問
