又一餐故地重遊但歷久常新的體驗，未介紹已經要先給一個大贊！大家都知我對於性價比這個指標不十分看重，因為香港先天環境獨特(我是指租金)，很難有一把可以全天候適用的尺去量度性價比，這是我個人的見解。不過，今次重遊多年沒來的Gaia，實在難掩一句:「嘩！抵食喎! 」Gaia初初開業的頭幾年我是常客，當年中高級意大利餐廳選擇實在不多，香港很多意大利餐廳都經營得很有傳統風味，而Gaia的出品也非常有水準。一別多年，知道Gaia這些年屹立不倒必有因，今次朋友約午飯聚餐揀在這裡，本來以為只是去吃一餐情意結，但結果喜出望外！閒日Set Lunch $349 (忘記了是$349 or $359)，頭盤Antipasti的豐富程度接近半個full buffet級。Antipasti做頭盤的意大利餐廳在香港我實在去過不少，論選擇之豐富齊全、論味道論質素，這裡的Antipasti完勝，無得彈！主菜我揀了煎比目魚，賣相、擺盤、配菜全部一流，煎煮比目魚的功夫了得，薄薄輕煎，肉質嫩滑，吃了一大碟豐富的Antipasti後來這味魚真的很匹配。朋友揀了慢煮雞髀，賣相極好，看著朋友把雞肉切開已知道肉質的嫩滑，真係心思思想

Came here at around 8pm, and there was an abundant of outdoor seating. It's got a romantic feel to it, with the candles, tablecloth, dim lighting, and sitting outdoors. It wasn't that packed, in fact there was a lot of seats and I was surprised, since I use to come here a lot with my parents more than a dacde ago for fancy birthday dinners. Tonight, I was accosted by a friendly waiter who convinced me and my girlfriend to grab a table, as we were both looking over at the menus. We said why not. 

Good and services are both terrible. 1. Clam Spaghetti was too salty and the pork chop tasted very average. 2. The waitress collecting the dishes smelled awful apparently she just finished having a ciggy backdoor. She should have made the ciggy smelly removed before serving customers. I had never gone to a restaurant that a waiter or waitress’ smell made me sick. This is considered part of the services and quality of the restaurant? I will not and will not recommend anyone go this place.

⭕️總評：上環最熱鬧一帶，一間旺中帶靜的半露天意大利餐廳，位置方便，環境舒閒。西餐廳老外多過華人，通常有一定保證。果然，Semi buffet lunch質素不錯：較出名是main dish的poached egg w/ black truffle，黑松露香氣籠罩了火候恰好的水煮蛋，蘸脆片吃很匹配；buffet部分的Parma ham, mussels, clams, Brie cheese亦有中上水準。💵Budget: $500 pp (lunch)📍 Gaia Ristorante (上環)上環皇后大道中181號新紀元廣場低座地下

餐廳環境好舒服😊柔和燈光配合西式裝修，有室內室外, 因為依加仲係好熱, 我地揀咗室內~ 服務亦都無可挑剔, 可能因為少人✌️~ 而我地6位用餐, 但張枱有啲細😣頭盤: 麵包籃 (佢會睇人數俾份量)普通麵包, 食晒都已經飽飽地😆魷魚配紅蝦🦐食完又唔覺得好熱氣~ 嗌咗2個Pizza🍕Pizza係好薄好脆, 仲勁大塊!Tiramisu , 味道一般，但唔會好甜🥰總括食物係好味道, 但有啲貴~如果係特別日子要慶祝就一流👏 係咁嘅環境傾吓計飲下酒最Chill🥂

Not my first time to visit Gaia and this time I got to write an review. Unfortunately we spend our time busy in enjoying our food and forgot to take photos. I was brought here by my brother apparently have been here many times before. Standard array of anti-pasti. Because it’s Christmas time there is the Christmas lunch menu; The pasta is good but I find the arriabata not enough spicy. Wife’s salmon is good. Would like to try to alfresco next time.

At 12:15pm with the restaurant just open, three members of waiting staff were already stood around chatting while guests were arriving to be seated. 這家意大利餐廳座落在新紀元廣場地下，週未晚上的客人以外藉人士為主，佔7成吧，地方很闊落，裝修很好，樓底有5米，燈光全是黃光小射燈，7pm入黑後很浪漫。店外設户外坐，天氣開始熱，建議 7pm後才入坐較好。開歺先点了杯Apple Martini, 点了10分鐘後竟然說沒有，我問 whether you don't have fresh apple juice or don't have martini, 但答不出，最後点了sex on the beach, 上檯，嚇了一跳，竟用 rock glass 上？？？！！！有冇搞錯呀？用 rock glass 上的 cocktail 都是 strong 的，例如 old fashioned 及 Negroni, sex on the beach not a strong cocktail at all。Cold Starter 是 Spicy Tuna with Avocado, 這個可以， tuna是剁了粗粒，吃下沒有渣，過关，配牛油果是很好的選擇。Hot Starter 是 炸蝦及炸魷魚，這個很難做得難吃的前菜，味道幾好，但炸漿不夠脆，over
