這裡真的很穩秘,同普通唐樓入口無分別,門口有個易拉架寫住 Exotic Birds World 上去 2/F 就是了。

入到去像去了傢俬店,先是 open kitchen,見到個 chef,跟住大檯有張大 sofa,其他擺設都很像。

見到我們的檯已經 set 好了,就是坐係度等食


首先食暖暖的麵包,牛油用個 d candle holder 盛著幾得意。

再黎 pumpkin soup,好 creamy,但不會 git tak tak。

Enjoy 完美味的 soup,緊接就是頭盤的 salad。有一塊少的 parma ham 拌著生菜 vinegar,蜜瓜與橙。我覺得 d 菜麻麻地,不過其他 fruits 都唔會酸幾好。

Main course 今日係紅酒雞肉配椰菜花及 “mashed cream potato” 唔 sure。D 汁勁好味,同埋雞肉超淋!Yummm,個個 mashed potato like stuff also tasted very good。

上埋甜品,簡直係人間美食,今日最最最好食係呢個!!!!有一 scoop ice-cream with chocolate sauce,個個無特別,最 special 的是 sweet potato swiss roll!外層有酥皮加 icing sugar,有點像春卷。裡面是 hot and half-melted 之間的 sweet potato cubes and crispy bread crumbs ~~~~~sugoiiiiiiiiii 好想 encore 呀!同事仲竟然食剩佢?Waste!

跟住有 tea or coffee,唔知係咪太滿足的關係,連 coffee 都好味 d。

這店唯一的”缺點” 就是用 lunch 的 1hr 實在享受唔到慢慢欣賞佢既手勢呢!

這裡有 chef 跟伙計兩位全程服務又 nice service。Chef 有佢自己煮,我地有我地等上。

齒夾留香啊!

Went there to have lunch with my friend. The place is relatively small and it's a bit hard to find, but the food wasn't disappointing. Service was also efficient and very professional. The following dishes were served:1) Appetizer: we had mushroom soup, which was very well-made. 3) Pan-fried pork - the pork was well-made and we were given some potatoes. It was very refreshing indeed.

4) Dessert - molten chocolate on top and 燉蛋 (sweet steamed egg) at the bottom. This is definitely the best dish amongst all the other dishes. The sweet steamed egg was made very well complimenting with the molten chocolate at the bottom. Definitely worth having it once more.

5) Tea - blueberry tea, which was of a very good temperature and satisfactory.

Also, as for the bread, the butter was delicate and soft and the bread was not warm, but the crust was very well-made and the rest blended well with the butter which made it quite delicious.

All in all, the price is very reasonable - $120 only for all those courses and no service charge, which is very satisfactory as the service was better than I expected - efficient and not too flowery.

What I like most about the food was that the portion was just right, not too much and not too little. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch in Central if anyone wants to try out this special private kitchen. Don't expect to have a menu though as the chef just cooks whatever dish he likes at his own discretion.

Last but not least, the washroom was very clean and better than I expected.

四月十五日 (星期三)謝秘書的邀請,約了今天到BlueDuck Workshop樓上私房菜…位於熟悉的士丹利街,居然連我倆都不知道此店的存在來到,是一位菲藉的服務員接待我們,端上了冰水等了很久,還看不見餐牌遞上,按奈不住,問過究竟大鄉里出城,原來這裡不設menu,每日的午餐早由大廚Henry話事今日的set lunch就如下:南瓜忌廉湯輕輕的南瓜味,伴着有少少口感的南瓜蓉很美味,又很細緻的…留下一個很好的First Impression東菇雜菜沙律為會何有東菇?是中西合壁fusion菜嗎?我倆都不喜愛東菇,唯有割”愛”,都送給了謝秘書雜菜很新鮮,配上很醒胃的汁碎蛋煎雞肉卷份量就少吃法國菜的一樣,用了很新鮮的雞胸肉,很嫩滑包入了碎蛋和菜,雞肉輕煎,很配很入味麵包布甸幸好有這一道較膩的甜品,要不然一會兒要吃一道下午茶這裡的麵包布甸與外面的不同,質感較為軟身老公仔說吃點又點像蓮蓉味,很好吃最後配上甘香的果茶,成為$120,免加一!雖然不能點菜,就當每餐都有驚喜罷

我倆都不喜愛東菇,唯有割”愛”,都送給了謝秘書
雜菜很新鮮,配上很醒胃的汁

碎蛋煎雞肉卷
份量就少吃法國菜的一樣,
用了很新鮮的雞胸肉,很嫩滑
包入了碎蛋和菜,雞肉輕煎,很配很入味

麵包布甸
幸好有這一道較膩的甜品,要不然一會兒要吃一道下午茶
這裡的麵包布甸與外面的不同,質感較為軟身
老公仔說吃點又點像蓮蓉味,很好吃

最後配上甘香的果茶,成為$120,免加一!

雖然不能點菜,就當每餐都有驚喜罷

We went for BlueDuck Workshop for a gals only dinner to celebrate a friend's bday. I promised to write a comment about the food as I was keeping saying "the food is great!". But I am not sure if I remember the exact food...hahaIt is a very warm place. You can feel the Chef cooks food by heart. It is a very warm place. You can feel the Chef cooks food by heart. He was really happy when he heard that we made positive comments on the food


1. Appetizer: Ham & Veg (I like the Veg sauce, so good)

(1) Goose liver & 翠玉瓜 (the sauce is great!!!)
(2): Special eggs (very nice egg yolk with balsamic source, the yolk is very soft & tasty)

6. Rosemary tea (very good match with dessert)

WoW...A lof delicious food!!! My friends and I had a great time here..The place is comfortable and private...definitely visit again...

環境: 細細的店舖, 好warm, 人多會嘈是一定的, 不過也不用很大聲跟朋友說話....
服務: 上菜時, 服務員有介紹上的是什麼菜...這樣很好... 因為我們不知吃什麼嘛...

走時大廚, 服務員開門恭送..... x小姐, 多謝晒!! 有點受寵若驚... 哈...

未知是否我和朋友們的口味已比從前挑剔,還是現在生意太好廚師開始有點累... 我總時覺得剛開業至2008年夏季時的出品比較好,真是可以感覺到廚師對烹飪的那份熱誠和心思,每次我也是懷著興奮的心情去,今次的而且確是有點失望... 很普通的沒什麼驚喜.... 且食物的溫度真的如我朋友早兩天所說稍為不夠...只是輕微暖暖的(不肯定是否天氣涼的問題)...冀望從前廚師的"靈魂"可以從新甦醒過來!!

- 生蚝兩隻 - 不錯, 夠新鮮
- 鵝肝蓉加提子乾 - 賣相普通點.....好像去食自助餐的頭盆感覺

- 忌廉白菌露旬 - 不是很熱, 味道都是一般


主菜:
- 羊扒 - 一件OK, 一件過熟好"鞋" Mint sauce得少少

- pasta - OK, 但要3個人分一碟....以前好像是一人一碟


甜品 and tea:
- 薄曲奇餅+cream - 最不喜歡cream!!! 還要好似自己去超市買料都整得到啦!!! 以前的是可以見到有付心機做出來


最最最慘........帶了枝至愛紅酒去開, 真的浪費了呀!!!! 究竟以前的水準去了那麼呀?? 還是現在的客人沒有我那麼"奄尖", 所以不用花那麼多時間和心機呢?!

七月十二‧晴貴為粉絲會的會員,會長時常帶我們周圍去見識,是日就來了試「藍鴨」。這裡具備一切私房菜的特質~座落在舊樓中,絕不起眼的門面,地方不大,只得廿來個座位。佈置十分簡潔,在這裡用餐,也很舒適的。在這裡吃午餐,不用看餐牌,因為如搞手kkk兄所言,是「佢煮咩就食咩」,咁就等如吃日本料理的「熬孖卡些」,犀利。先來的麵包籃是熱辣可口,用來塗的牛油是混合了芝士在內的,很香很滑,真的吃多了也不覺;湯是南瓜湯,口感很香滑,味道甜美,也不錯;蔬菜沙律是蘋果、西芹及生菜的組合,配起黑醋,清新醒胃;主菜是煎豬扒,豬扒是薄薄的,吃起來不見佳處,在座食友皆笑說很「快餐店」。可幸吃起來也有肉質較軟腍的,叫做好吃一點。比較起「蝴蝶粉」的厚豬扒,是天與地的比較。配上的是黑松露醬汁,果然有黑松露的味道,不過吃多兩口,也覺得是鹹了一點點。如果可以拿個飯來伴吃,就剛剛好了;甜品是焗芋蓉燉蛋,芋蓉幾香,蛋也滑,但作為一個甜品,除了灑在面頭的糖粉外,是差不多吃不到甜味的,敗興。侍應服務很好,很有禮貌,值得一讚。四道菜連飲品的午餐索價百二蚊,不收加一,以地點及環境計也非常合理,是中環吃午膳的另一選擇。

主菜是煎豬扒,豬扒是薄薄的,吃起來不見佳處,在座食友皆笑說很「快餐店」。可幸吃起來也有肉質較軟腍的,叫做好吃一點。比較起「蝴蝶粉」的厚豬扒,是天與地的比較。配上的是黑松露醬汁,果然有黑松露的味道,不過吃多兩口,也覺得是鹹了一點點。如果可以拿個飯來伴吃,就剛剛好了;

甜品是焗芋蓉燉蛋,芋蓉幾香,蛋也滑,但作為一個甜品,除了灑在面頭的糖粉外,是差不多吃不到甜味的,敗興。

侍應服務很好,很有禮貌,值得一讚。

四道菜連飲品的午餐索價百二蚊,不收加一,以地點及環境計也非常合理,是中環吃午膳的另一選擇。

昨晚第一次到blueduck, 令我意想不到所有食物(appetizer, bread, soup, main course, dessert)都很好味很有水準 blueduck沒有menu, 由廚師決定當天口吃什麼 (如有什麼食物不吃, 可於訂位時說明)..我起初還擔心會否有一些不合我口味的菜式, 最後所有菜式都很好味呢! (通常其他餐廳即使有menu, 未必每一道菜都合我的口味或總有一道菜失準...)到上dessert時, 還可以選擇果茶 (最適合現在轉涼的天氣, 來一杯熱騰騰的果茶, 整個人也暖起來)價錢ok (已連一支紅酒, 每人約hk$300)

一道清甜的餐湯再配以一個清新的沙律<<青蘋果雜菜沙律配芥末油>>,芥茉油有微微的香味,主體醬汁帶酸,十分醒胃。
吃過了湯和沙律,也該是上主菜的時候了。<<香煎豬扒配黑松露菌汁>>,連續吃了兩個味道較清的食物後,一時間轉回肉類感到有一點點過咸,不過也只是頭幾口的感覺而已。
豬扒煎火候頗好,黑松露菌汁固之然香味四溢,而肉質亦有嚼頭而不嚡口。身邊幾位食友笑說假如能來一碗白飯撈汁,那就完美了。

主菜之後便是甜品了,這個<<芋頭 creame bulee>>很特別。上層是香滑芋蓉,下層是原來的creame bulee。如果分開來吃,味道只屬一般,但加起來吃的口感頗有趣的,因為一滑一軟。


整體的感覺真的不錯,吃得很舒適亦有不少的驚喜,在這裡要再次多謝K兄的安排~

It was the third time I dined at this restaurant since the party night. I did not really taste the food in my first visit, so when my friends proposed to have our monthly gathering a week later, I was happily agreed.The atmosphere was still very comfortable. The atmosphere was still very comfortable. The staffs are getting closed with me and my friends. Because of me, we did not have lamb as the main course. I can’t be sure the titles of all dishes we had. I could only remember the sauces which being used in each dish is extremely special, delicate and … warm.

Last night, I went back for my third time. As usual, we were the first arrivers, so we drank and chatted with the staffs in the open kitchen. It was so comfortable in looking at the cooking method. We mostly had seafood last night. The taste of each dish is still surrounding my mouth. We had a bottle of Portuguese wine to match with the first 3 courses. Honestly, we did not know the menu until we arrived. Of course, I knew that lamb would be off from the menu, hehe. Then we had a Burgundy red, from Vosne-Romanee to match with our main course, which is pan-fried beef fillet in red wine sauce and mushroom risotto. Risotto… I have to say, this is the only place I would come back again and again and again for risotto. I love its creamy texture, I love its mushroom flavour and I love it. I did tell the chef that the sauce is slightly salty to me. Well, it’s just my personal opinion, I eat very little of salt and sugar.

The stomach was filled with good food and wines until this morning. Can’t wait to go back again in the near future.

I organised a birthday party at this place on 12 April. Before the dinner started, I have received many questions on "how did I find this place?", "have you tried it before?", "the atmosphere is so cosy and relaxing.".Anyway, the restaurant only serves fix and set dinner for $280 per head (without service charge), plus corkage of $50 for 2. The place is not very big so that the chef was aiming for maximum 20 people only. Due to the overwhelming responses, we got to reduce the head count from 30
