至於上面既朱古力裝飾……我個人認為可免
雖說朱古力既硬實感覺同mousse好contrast,可能出到黎係冇咁膩

另一道前菜是Onion Soup,洋蔥湯以鐵鍋盛著,能保存溫度,侍應細心提醒我們小心盪傷。洋蔥湯上放了幾塊法包,法包吸收了洋蔥湯,變得軟軟的入口即溶。鍋上頂層的芝士毫不吝嗇,經焗爐燒溶後再用火槍稍微燒燒,可是我們的芝士並沒有一點燒焦的感覺。芝士和麵包的下面鋪滿煮熟透的洋蔥,一整鍋聞起來十分香濃,連不好洋蔥的我也很想一試。洋蔥煮得不帶一點痺口的感覺,湯味濃郁偏咸,芝士奶味比較重,燒溶後軟軟滑滑,味道不錯。這裡的洋蔥湯和Oolaa的不同,後者咸中帶微辣,卻沒有芝士。我喜歡芝士,因此較喜歡這裡的洋蔥湯。男朋友喜歡口味較豐富的,因此喜歡Oolaa的。

Steak Frites是另一款主菜,牛扒點了medium well,卻幾乎變了全熟,幸好肉質還保留了部份肉汁,使肉身未至於變得太老太硬。薯條為這道菜增加不少分數,它比一般的薯條幼身,每條都十分香脆,口感乾爽不油膩,吃到停不了口。

想吃較親民的法國菜,這裡是不錯的選擇。希望下次有機會試一下它的甜品吧。

Ham Platter 裏有 Parma Ham,Chorizo,蒜香火腿和一個類似 Salami 的火腿,還有香脆可口的法包和酸瓜。由於平時比較少吃這些火腿,所以不太懂分辨好和一般貨色,但覺得這些比一般在超級市場的香口,吃過後齒頰留香。酸瓜跟美式酸瓜不同,酸味較重,口感亦比較軟。

我看著廚師烹煮洋蔥湯的過程,他先在洋蔥湯上放了幾塊法包,讓法包吸收湯的精華,非常可口。而他再法包上再鋪上一層厚厚的芝士,用焗爐燒溶,上菜前再用火槍稍微燒焦。作為芝士愛好者的我看到湯後立刻垂涎三尺
,芝士的奶味比較重,味道較淡。這裡的洋蔥湯煮得十分濃郁,喝完口裡都充斥著洋蔥香甜的味道。大家都被這個香噴噴的洋蔥湯吸引著,連平時不吃洋蔥的父親也讚好。


吃完前菜後,由於客人數目開始多,所以等了大概20分鐘才有主菜吃。可能因為廚房面積不大,餐廳當時的廚師只有三位,其中一位在準備食材,兩位負責烹調,他們兩個都十分忙和急。有幾次看見他們因不夠人手,沒有空而把食材燒焦了
,要從頭再做,所以上菜速度更加慢。

焦糖布丁比其他地方做得較淡,而本人比較喜歡這裡的,因為很多地方都做得過甜,跟吃糖沒有分別。布丁中可以看見一顆顆雲哩嗱。做伴碟的巧克力十分香滑。

這頓飯除了牛排overcook了以外整體來講也非常滿意,將來一定會再度細味巴黎。

The calamari had a light batter and was not greasy at all. 
 It was cooked perfectly and wasn't chewy. I liked it a lot with and without the "Big Mac" aioli on the side.

The steak was topped with two very skinny asparagus served along with a generous amount of skinny fries and Béarnaise sauce. The fries really were skinny as I needed to eat at least 3 at a time for me to feel it in my mouth.
 The fries were well- sesaoned, but a bit soft. The taste of the steak was good, but it had a lot of gristle, which I wasn't quite expecting. 
The Béarnaise on the side was good. I would describe it as very "dairy"tasting.
 I would have liked it even more if there were more herbs in it.

Dessert: Daily Tarte ( Chocolate, Lemon or Caramel)
Chocolate is such a huge part of French Dessert, so I had to choose the chocolate choice. 
 I was actually already very full when it came. A small scoop of vanilla ice-cream and raspberries were served with the tarte. I tried the dense tarte on its own, with the ice-cream and with the ice-cream+ raspberries together. However, on its own was my favourite way of eating it because I could focus on the chocolate. 
 It was very chocolaty, and not very sweet. I thought it was very good. This course was my favourite.

Start ordering, 原來menu得一版看似選擇不多, 仲要無pasta, risotto >_<.....背面係drink menu, 眼見背後既open kitchen不斷燒ribeye又好大件, 薯條好幼身份量好多, 所以一定要order.  雖然無pasta, 但每款食物都好味又份量大, 我哋都食得好滿足!! ^o^

5) Blue Mussels w/white wine & lemon (1kg) - 這是用類似Le Creuset既煲上枱的, 我哋見隔離枱食, 所以都order, 但我哋個煲明顯地大好多, 再睇menu先發現原來有分size, 500g $188 & 1kg $298, waiter可能見我哋4人所以自動幫我哋order 1kg.....anyway, 好鮮甜, 白酒汁夠味, 伴以幼薯條, 型式好像Paris既LEON (一間專食不同煮法mussels既餐廳), 不過味道及portion就當然係LEON正好多啦.

We firstly order a half dozen of oysters which are  fresh and tasty.The left hand side is Boullabaise which is the beef shank and this is the most preferable dish in that restaurant (I think) as its taste makes me memorize it til the next day morning.The right hand side is another main course containing prawn, fish, potato and clams.With this Mousse au Chocolat, our dinner ends perfectly as it's one of the best chocolate mousse made of 70% dark chocolate that I've ever tried.

同朋友諗定左要食foie gras,佢有三道菜都有鵝肝,我地問佢有咩分別同recommend邊個,佢introduce得都幾詳細,大致上有

Portion of the capital salad is big. It had diced potatoes, artichoke(雅枝竹), half-boiled egg and ham. The egg was slightly overcooked. First time to try artichoke and it tasted like mushroom.

They also offered other starters but I didn't try.

For the starters we chosed the Oysters & Foie Gras, Main course Grilled Salmon Steak and dessert was X'Mas Log Cake

1) Oysters & Foie Gras: Oysters were juicy and very fresh. Tasted just like it came from the catch with a squeeze of lemon juice to enhance to seafood flavour. Tasty tasty
and I won't complain about the size of the oysters, because as for 2 people, we won't be able to finish everything on the plate during the whole dinner.

As for the Foie Gras (photo not included), it was approximately 70% done and slightly raw which makes the Foie Gras more juicy
I don't recall much experience of having Foie Gras so couldn't provide detailed comment.

2) Grilled Salmon steak x 2 (photo probably too dark to show): The grilled salmon was perfectly done. Crispy skin with a sprinkle of roasted shredded almonds on top, juicy and tender. The fish isn't overcooked which gives this pleasant taste as it melts once you eat it. Asparagas was on the side in order to accompany the fish which was lightly done and tossed with a bit of butter and seasoning. Grilled Salmon is HIGHLY Recommended


3) X'mas log cake x 2: Finally when it came to the dessert, my girlfriend and I were 90% full and our stomach just couldn't resist the tempation to try it out. The log cake is is a log cake. Very filling and it's no other cake, light in weight. I'm actually surprised that the cake doesn't taste too sweet as it opened up our appetite a bit more even tho we both were quite full. There's a small layer of cream, rolled in from the cake which makes the cake isn't too dry and accompany with some X'mas dressing on top that makes the presentation more colourful


Not a bad place for a romantic dining, and wouldn't mind at all to recommened and or try this place again in near future and not in special occasion in terms of X'mas and New Years Eve (set menu only)

This place was great. We went there for the charcuterie plate and enjoyed every last bit of it. The goat cheese salad is amazing. The goat cheese is warmed and sits atop little crostini. There must have been some sort of honey & salt glaze that was extra delicious. The greens were fresh and the dressing was light and perfect. We sat in the back which is open air - so people can smoke if they want to. The seating bar back there overlooks the Spice restaurant next to it - kind of cool how they're connected like that.

We requested a seat closer to the front and she was able to move us within 10 minute or so. She was gracious and friendly and the service was prompt.

I highly recommend this place. I'm a picky and discerning eater and i thought it was great!

蕃茄配山羊芝士:新鮮蕃茄好吃。芝士有微微酸味,口感細滑。雖好吃,芝士份量不知可否添多一些呢!


牛背肉配薯條:牛背肉要半成熟,但被烤至約七成熟。
表面烤至微焦,但內裡仍可保持有肉汁,牛肉味濃。伴碟薯條熱騰騰,好好味!


忌廉蘑菇寬條麵:麵條柔軟度剛好,蘑菇份量頗多。與十分濃厚忌廉汁混為一體,互補長短。

八月二十二日 (星期三)中環蘇豪區實在是個卧虎藏龍之地各國美食可謂應有盡有,每次也可能遇到意外驚喜一向都在中環區附近工作,不過較少有閒情會走上來吃午餐反而打從架架妹轉往金鐘工作後,對中環蘇豪卻念念不忘,不時就與架架仔或友人前來尋找美食,享受一番今日路過中環蘇豪的伊利近街,架架仔指著對面這家餐廳,說是上次和老闆吃過的,也不錯當時正值中午時分,熱得已經不想再行,就選這家吧!原來這家法國菜是世界著名飲食集團Dining Concepts旗下的餐廳餐廳的名字包括了Bouchon及Bistro兩字;Bouchon多出現於法國的里昂,指當地家庭式經營的餐館;而Bistro則指巴黎街頭的餐廳店子因為走的路線就界乎兩者之間,因而得名一踏入餐廳,就感到帶點法式小餐館及家庭的感覺,很温暖的感覺午市套餐供應的款式不多,也很傳統,大部份的食材都來自法國,味道十分地道餐前包已很有驚喜,外層香脆的法國麵包,內裡卻異常的鬆軟,還富麥香加上軟滑的牛油,我們極速的吃了一籃!即點即煮的Onion Soup第一次能從廚房玻璃窗看到製作過程這道法國傳統的餐前湯,由牛肉湯,洋葱,紅酒等多款食材來烹調面層是Emmental Ch

用匙一畢,芝士有點硬,原來是麵包承托著芝士,因此焗起放凍後,芝士亦不會塌下
洋葱味道香濃,十分惹味,也很香滑
落了一點紅酒,所以味道帶點酒香,洋蔥十分惹味

Aumoniere這道前菜,是以一層脆皮包着新鮮蕃茄和羊奶芝士一拼吃
那層脆皮,我們會形容就像我們中式的春卷皮
而蕃茄鮮甜帶微酸,吃起來挺開胃的
羊奶芝士較為結實,羊羶味十分豐富,架架仔讚不絕口
加上口感不俗,整體表演不俗

Onglet de Boeuf即是Beef Back Steak(牛背肉)
點了Medium Rare,可惜眼前的牛肉像是Medium Done多一點
牛肉還有點烤焦,吃起來十分韌口,且肉汁略欠
但牛肉的肉味仍是十分香濃,本質應該是不錯的

龍脷魚柳份量十足,很大件且厚身
魚肉嫰滑新鮮,拌上鋪面的香草及蕃茄醬吃,酸酸甜甜的,更帶出魚鮮味
旁邊亦有兩個蕃茄作配菜,裡面加了一點脆脆,十分香口
蕃茄也十分清甜多汁,感覺清新

一個兩道菜的午市套餐,定價百元左右,可說是蘇豪區的中價位
食物質素頗高的,且富有法國傳統烹調風味
以這個價格能吃到來自法國當地的食材,算是抵吃了!

貪心的,如果午餐可包一杯餐飲會更好,更加完美

Had the onion soup and pasta for lunch today. The bread is warm and soft. Waitress service is efficient. Onion soup - the grilled cheese on top is excellent. This is the best onion soup i have ever had.Pasta (with herbs and shrimps) - delightful. The portion is just enough for one person. Will try all lunch sets in the future.
