中環lunch搵食記平時行過呢間都有好多人排隊, 一直都冇試到, 今日成3十幾度, 見到冇人排隊就即刻入左去試啦我叫左生牛肉河, 個湯好甜, 唔算好咸好咪精, 同埋佢有得俾你間多莞茜蔥最正, 但牛肉個質素就一般般, 冇咩特別, 河粉都好食, 份量都好多。朋友叫左生熟牛肉河, 其實同生牛河冇咩分別 但係就平幾蚊另外一個朋友就叫左雞肉撈檬, 有好多蔬菜, 好清新, 唔錯叫左兩個小食, 一個係春卷, 炸得夠脆夠熱自己覺得呢個蒸粉卷好好食如果唔係咁多人排隊都會再黎食呀, 因為坐得好舒服。

食食下見到疑似白色發泡膠的不明物體,漂浮在湯中,立即撈出,鑑別後應該就是發泡膠。好彩見到,如果唔係食左落去就麻煩啦!另外見到有食評話他們趕客,係真嘅,因為我都試過。至於牛肉湯河已經覺得沒有之前好吃,加上不愉快的經歷,應該不會再去了。

Tried the pho yesterday. Though it was just around 6pm, it was half full and people had to wait to be seated if they came in a big group. The service was ok even though it seemed the staff was quite occupied. The pho was good. The noodles were smooth with a generous amount of onion and red chilli peppers as I requested for more. I liked the omasum which you needed to pay extra $12 for it. It was cut into very thin pieces which might not be preferred by everyone. But I think this went well with the pho which was thin too.
Not sure if I could request for extra 2 portions of it.
Yet, the soup was a bit too salty and oily even though I did ask for skipping the butter.
It didn't help much even after adding in the limes. The beef was not particularly tender thought I appreciated it was not fatty. Overall the pho was good but over $100 with the extra omasum is too pricy.

I also ordered the steamed pork rice rolls though I forgot to take a picture of it. That was much better than the pho especially when you had it with the traditional Chinese sweet sauce which I didn't expect that would be offered. Yet, again, $5x for just 3 pieces was a bit too expensive.


I think they can consider offering tea set to make it slightly cheaper and attractive.

接下來的一口河粉,相比於一般的越南河粉店,它的粗度略窄,但河粉口感幼滑,帶少許韌度,比較不易斷;相信老闆們下了不少功夫去找合適的供應商,應記一功!


生牛肉似是用了薄切的美國牛小排肉,油脂分佈平均,肉質嫩滑;熟牛肉是金錢𦟌,由於切得太薄,吃不出師傅的功架,可惜!


由中環到大坑、銅鑼灣,再走到觀塘,我也吃過很多大大小小的本地薑和過江龍;雖然不少店也有其特色(如牛丸較彈牙);但整體來說,Brass Spoon 還是我在香港吃過水準最平均的越南牛肉湯河粉;如果沒有時間到越南胡志明市的Park Hyatt一嚐我的至愛越南牛肉湯河,這店值得一試!

Once the noodle was ordered, it took about 5 mins for my bowl of noodle to arrive, I chose the half cook/raw beef noodle with lots of condiments. The soup base was a clear beef soup, really tasty soup. Has lots of depth and can definitely feel the soup is the heart of the beef noodle. Really wanted to keep sipping on the soup. The noodles were the traditional fat type, nothing spectacular about it and the beef was quite small in portion. Only thing I was wow was the soup base.

真係好多人排隊,想食真係要早D,起碼十二點前成個 party 到齊先好,如果我唔係我唔覺得值得等咁耐...越南咖啡幾好飲,不過都係例排偏甜,想冇咁甜,就要求底下D煉奶唔好落咁多,因為一攪勻咗就冇得返轉頭。生牛肉 pho 唔錯,肉質好,湯甜美味。佢哋D配料可揀多少或正常,我樣樣都揀正常,不過我鍾意有多D越式香草香葉,莞茜比例就好似多咗少少。係高質嘅,不過都係食環境多,越南嘢嚟講都偏貴,如要排隊就免了。

Purposely visited as my daughter felt unwell and asked for BS specifically. Unfortunately she felt dizzy and couldn't finish the meal. Asked politely for take-out container and was told soup couldn't leave the premises. Understand soup is proprietary but doubt my 12 year old was trying to steal their beloved recipe. Told the owner the situation and was told no again. Respectfully the soup is good but the restaurant has lost sight of their humanity. Good to know they value profit above treating p

Respectfully the soup is good but the restaurant has lost sight of their humanity. Good to know they value profit above treating people with kindness.

Don't reward their "BS" behaviour - go elsewhere.

在公司不經不覺差不多三年年頭,約滿前要清假,就拿半晝來個Happy Friday!人在中環,肚子餓得咕嚕咕嚕作響,突然想起那天經過一間吃越南粉的餐廳,便去一試。回來始知原來此店的灣仔總店人氣極盛,不少名人也推薦光顧,有人甚至認為它的Pho是全港最好,真是失敬失敬。 抵達剛好避過了午飯的人潮,一行三人可以直接內進;店舖裝潢帶金屬工業風格:雲石圖案檯面、由天花吊下不規則的烏絲燈等,桌上放了越南粉三寶:是拉差、魚露和海鮮醬,而湯匙是用金色磨紗的那種,和裝潢互相呼應之餘拿上手也更有質感。  大抵全日只有一張菜單:自選配搭的牛河、兩個撈檬、兩個小食,主食八十塊左右,小食五十多,自己剔紙下單,方便快捷。青檸梳打 $28梳打水加入新鮮青檸汁,味道甜酸,在這天氣下喝一口透心涼的飲料,感覺特別暢快。  炸春卷 $55越式春卷的外皮脆得來有些韌的口感,有人會覺得黏牙,我自己倒喜歡這口感;用生菜和薄荷葉包著同吃,味道配合得很。 生熟牛河加底 $93湯河可自選不同牛肉部位和熟度,加入那些配料、要不要牛脂也可選擇,照顧到不同客人的需要;淺啡色的湯頭非常清甜,飢腸轆轆的哥要了加底,河粉是幼身有米香,牛肉嫩滑,而

香茅雞肉撈檬 $80
撈檬五顏六色的上桌令人眼前一亮,配料有炸蒜、生菜、青瓜、醃蘿蔔絲、薄荷葉、芽菜和芫荽等,豐富得很,加入甜甜酸酸的魚露後十分開胃,可惜雞肉沒香茅香又過鹹,扣了一點分數。

 人均消費一百頭,可能不用排隊又沒期望,覺得偶爾為之算是不錯。吃罷和媽媽走到IFC一人一杯乳酪雪糕做甜點,良久沒吃,水準依然,滿足矣。

是日約了中同們吃lunch, 來到brass spoon. 平日中午十二時到達, 人龍未見, 但原來要人齊才可入座, 唯有耐心等待. 筆者吃過其金鐘的分店, 印象不錯. 中環店地方相對較大, 也有對坐枱, 但bar枱也不少, 始終不太適合大夥人. 一如以往, Menu 選擇不多, 點選了生牛肉河(HK$88), 春卷(HK$55). 生牛肉河, 跟很多食客的食評一樣, 此家的pho分量不多, 連女生也吃不飽, 也許是貴精不多吧? 但這個價錢, 確實有點兒那個. 昔日金鐘的湯底很清的, 牛味不太濃. 中環店的有點不同, 牛的味道比較濃, 但稱不上是清甜, 各有取捨. 河粉仍然是昔日的透薄, 也有點米香, 是筆者喜愛的類型. 牛肉片口感也算嫩. 春卷, 外層炸得比較黏口, 內裏的材料豐富, 滿滿的蘿蔔絲和木耳絲, 一般水準.
