前天終於可一試這所法國餐廳,進入餐廳第一個感覺是裝修好一般,有點像茶餐廳的格局,只是燈光調暗了,牆壁上的一排排酒瓶佈置,我個人覺得真是不什好看,唯獨令人有所期待的就是那個開放式廚房,讓顧客可以看到廚房的工作情況。食物方面,坦白說,那天晚上點了幾個set dinner,味道不是很出色,而最令人失望的就是那黑毛豬,肉質絕不鮮嫩,花了頗長的時間才可咀嚼一小片,況且整體食物味道略咸了一點。然而職員服務態度是最理想的一方面,這值得嘉許,可惜食品質素有點強差人意吧。

就住環境黎講,人流都多,但係唔會好嘈,可能大家都知道係高級小小既餐廳,唔好咁大聲講野。而野食既食材除左新鮮,食物的造型都好有心思,而你真係可以親眼睇住廚師點樣煮俾你食,你會好期待同覺得好認真的感覺。

Heard a lot of good things about this nice restaurant for a long time, and finally, we came and visit it mainly for theirdessert... but still, we can have some room for a bit of bites... The menu is not big, but most of the offerings are authentic and sophisticated... and so, it took a bit of our time as we had a big tea in the afternoon, and we can't really try much for the main... and their homemade bread was so nice too, coming with their own garlic sauce, very good dip...  but I was wrong...

I want more afterwards after the starter comes.  I am not saying that the size is small, but the taste was actually great... most of the garlic shrimp we had in the past are quite oily... but not this one, and they used fresher shrimp to do the dish too... we quite like it...

This is the dessert I was looking forward to...  just like a very rich napolean cake... but was filled with cream and fresh raspberry... perfect mixing with the strawberry ice-cream... premium one... the pastry layers were so fine and rich in butter taste... I just fall in love with it...

我兩人最後點了兩份set dinner,必食一定是招牌的鵝肝焦糖燉蛋( Starter 另加$30)作頭盤,當中有濃郁的鵝肝炮製在雞蛋之中,燉蛋的質感幼滑又有鵝肝的油潤,甘香豐腴 ; 另外將黃糖在燉蛋上烤成金黃的薄脆,有脆脆的香甜口感,一鹹一甜的味道亙相輝映,蛋香中滲出濃烈的鵝肝香,再配合罌粟子及紅莓醬,微酸帶甜增加了另一份的滋味,當作冷盤前菜真是非常一流,真是非常創新又美味。

另一款starter 點了一碗法國干邑龍蝦湯(另加$50)與友人一同分享,用了新鮮的龍蝦肉煮熬的龍蝦湯,當中有蘆筍及麵包粒,干邑讓龍蝦湯味道更突出,湯稠味濃,十分鮮甜,口味更細膩鮮滑,再伴以一口爽彈的龍蝦肉,龍蝦香味在口腔中縈迴不斷,真是不禁豎指一讚。

今天和同事造訪這一間餐廳,為的就是看到他是米之蓮一星,所以深感好奇,在觀塘區也會有米之蓮一星的餐廳?所以就去一試啦。因為係返工時間的關係,所以選擇去吃午餐,而不是晚餐,我相信晚餐的食材應該會比午餐的好,所以也沒也抱着很大的期望去試。果然不出我所料,我覺得他的米之蓮一星應該是指晚餐時段,而不是食lunch。話雖如此,他的set lunch也是不錯的, CP值極高。他的set lunch豐儉由人,由$88起至$298都有。$88的有熱狗配薯條, $98就有Risotto, 之後有牛仔會pasta ,有cod,有牛扒,和最貴$298的龍蝦linguine 配龍蝦湯。我今天就選擇了Risotto的那個餐, 另加了$50配龍蝦湯。值得一提的是,他的麵包真的好heart,好好味😋.如果有機會的話,我想我是應該會去是晚飯時段的。

望落還以為是燉蛋,入口一陣肝香滑溜,原來是以法國鵝肝加入忌廉和白蘭地煮成鵝肝醬,再在表面加上一層焦糖,吃起來更具層次感。



法式甜品,一向為人津津樂道,加上大廚的背景,就更加令人期待。

提起餐廳的麵包,有芝士條及脆邊法包,可無限添加。重點是,看到一旁附上的醬嗎?它有點像奇妙醬,也是餐廳自製的配方,用了檸檬汁、銀魚柳、鯷魚等,再加入香草、印度香料、蛋黃醬,成為了食麵包良伴。不是我誇張,如這醬可以擺出舖頭賣,相信會反應熱烈的。

說到必食壓軸菜,這個西班牙金牛,材料是牛面頰及熟成三十日的肉眼,原材料價格已不平宜,又是不惜工本的一道菜。

為甚麼法國菜用西班牙金牛呢?因為金牛產自 San Sebastián,與法國南部的 BriKetenia 非常接近,而且牛肉肉味以肉味濃見稱,所以用它入饌。

中菜宴會個個虎視眈眈魚面珠,牛當然都有這個部位,下面墊着黑松露拌薯蓉華麗上枱。面珠的肉質炆得入口即化,鬆軟,感覺像紅酒炆牛肉。

至於肉眼,因為是熟成 Dried Aged,水份被抽乾,提高肉味濃度。即使用黑椒、鹽調味,略煎,已好吃。

總廚 Walter 做西餐出身,做西式甜品當然是經驗豐富。甜品「紅桑苺醬的咖啡芝士蛋糕」

蛋糕質地幼滑,酸酸甜甜,餐後吃不會太飽太漏,加上賣相靚,也無可挑剔。

總的來說,今次吃的法國菜性價比超高,先不說餐廳在法國的星級背景,單是不惜工本的食材,已教人感受到誠意。而且食物賣相有精緻氣質,處理亦巧妙的吊出食材鮮味,這種廚藝都教人印象深刻。

個人全晚最喜歡的,要算法國干邑龍蝦湯侍應為我們分開奉來碟和壼,碟上是龍蝦肉和忌廉泡沫,壼裡則是滿滿的龍蝦湯。慢慢地把龍蝦湯倒進碟中,過程中散發著龍蝦湯和干邑的香氣。滿滿的一壼湯足夠注滿湯碟兩次,毫不吝嗇讓人喝得非常滿足。

之前聽聞呢度有龍蝦食,間餐廳又大有來頭,喺米芝蓮餐廳,lunch特登搭車黎食,因為聽聞夜晚要成$400一位未去前以為係工廈,原來係間新商廈入面,仲幾大,有幾多位,唔使排隊,但格局似普通餐廳Lunch Menu價錢算合理同幾多選擇,因為有啲工廈西餐廳都收成百蚊一位頭盤有2湯2沙律揀,我地揀咗吞拿魚沙律,份量都幾大,吞拿魚好味,幾厚身先送上多士,配既唔係普通牛油,而係類似sour cream 既醬,有心思主菜揀咗牛肝菌意粉同羊架,意粉不過不收,味有啲淡,羊架唔錯,幾嫩滑,仲有兩小件乳豬同好多菜,百幾蚊幾抵食下次有機會再食龍蝦

先送上多士,配既唔係普通牛油,而係類似sour cream 既醬,有心思

主菜揀咗牛肝菌意粉同羊架,意粉不過不收,味有啲淡,羊架唔錯,幾嫩滑,仲有兩小件乳豬同好多菜,百幾蚊幾抵食

下次有機會再食龍蝦

烤焗肉眼扒,法國鵝肝
肉眼扒好香,明顯煎過再去焗,外面好脆身裡面juicy,牛味亦夠,高質素的牛扒!略嫌牛太多肥肉,瘦少少會好點。鵝肝就非常一般,煮耐左,唔夠juicy好乾身,麻麻地。

朱古力撻
本身對撻不太喜歡,但呢個撻裡面做到好似心太軟咁,味道又比我想像中冇咁甜,算唔錯。裡面流心朱古力暖暖的,面頭就烤到半脆身,都幾出色。

無論環境同食物都只屬一般中上西餐廳級數,絕對同價錢成正比,真係一分錢一分貨啦。
