我地點了兩個完全不同的Set Dinner Share 食
法式干邑龍蝦湯,龍蝦是以壺上枱,侍應在客人面前倒入吉碗中,而碟是熱的,所以不會把湯冷掉,每一口都夠溫度直至最後一口。湯底好香濃,質感比較稠身,飲完不覺口乾,甜甜的Aftertaste 在口腔內縈迴不散。

一上枱已經聞到香濃的龍蝦膏的味道,未食已知極足料,原隻已脫殼的龍蝦鉗大大隻,鮮味彈牙,扁意粉軟硬適中,橙紅色的龍蝦汁雖不是很濃稠那種,足夠附在每條意粉上,每口都是爽口鮮味,非常正!

千層酥比較厚身,質感不是一截就破那種,有啖啖的牛油香,吉士都幾多有點膩,
不過配合酸酸甜甜,口感軟滑比較像Gelato士多啤梨雪糕一起進食,味道變得更輕盈,

原來跟Set Dinner 仲有甜品 Petit Four
法式蛋白餅脆身,綠茶曲奇入口不膩不過不失未見驚喜,如此的結尾好像有點馬虎,
之前的前菜主菜都算出色,有點未能一氣呵成的感覺。

整體來說,餐廳各項的都達到要求,雖然位於工業區,但環境開揚舒服侍應友善食物質素中上,最重要食物質素是對得住價錢,好適合想食餐好,但budget 有限的朋友。

吃了之後發覺還沒有全飽,才施施然選擇甜品。因為想吃些脆口的東西,便選了啤梨果批伴雲呢嗱雪糕。雲呢嗱雪糕軟而潤,啤梨果批偏甜,果香濃郁而脆,但不會過膩,吃完後剛好滿了肚皮,感覺十分之滿意.v

A visit to BriKetenia doesn't cost you a journey in creepy lifts - it is simply a restaurant in the lower levels of a mall-cum-office building.

The restaurant is surprisingly big with a down-to-earth furnishing. Although "BriKetenia" means brickhouse in French, there is no brick element within sight. Cosy and adequately lit, it is able to convey a homey feeling after all.

We were given two menus, one being the set dinner and another being the tasting menu ($598/head). We weren't feeling hungry enough to enjoy the long tasting menu, so the set dinner with 3 courses came into play. Ranging from $188 to $458 with options of extra charge for more expensive starters, set dinner of this pricing is satisfactory for a semi-formal dinner. There is credit card promotion which helps you save a bit.

Adding $30 for this starter makes no regret, as this scrumptious starter was worth its value by the combination of complex flavour in just a spoonful of creme brulee. Inside the creamy egg custard, there laid goose liver pâté in the mix which was just right to permeat the decadent aroma in the custard without overpowering.

One should expect a perfect dish of iberian pork chop with a charred brown crust and tender interior - it fulfilled 80% of my expection, that 20% missing was the fact that it was slightly overdone. Not really pink in the interior but with nice marbling, it tasted great but certainly had room to improve.

Our dinner sets didn't come with dessert, but just by adding $50 for a dessert was worth going for, especially when it was my friend's birthday that I need such a plating for good photos! Servers here were smart enough for the birthday arrangement. I didn't even need to remind anything, but just to pretend normal to order a dessert and then it was served with such a plating!

Net charge being close to $800 after credit card discount was a good deal after all, given the impressive dishes in general with reasonable portion. Starters tasted better than the main courses, with my vote going to the foie gras creme brulee! One may expect a grand hall where michelin-quality dishes could be enjoyed, but you may be surprised that they are in fact hidden in down-to-earth eateries in the industrial area like this, the BriKetenia.

沒有 decaf 咖啡供應,我只好喝一杯健康的熱檸檬水作終結。

食品有酒店大廚的影子,但遠不及上次,食味未到位,尚以為應該把最精彩的放在 Tasting Menu ,但似乎只是刻意營造創意,味道未能令人留下印象,而且組合方面,帶酸味的菜式為多,剛好遇到我不喜歡酸味的顧客,就不受落了!早知如此,還是散點,反見手本名菜。

侍應態度良好,但不懂得介紹菜式,如果稍為講解一下,我今晚不會作此選擇;另外上菜時的解說,如背書一般沒有感情,亦說得太快了。

怪不得好壞評論參半,其實以觀塘地區來說,水準令人耳目一新,可惜今晚未能符合我的期望。

簡直係高級享受😋

一場黎到,期待左甘耐,當然唔好慳啦!我同老公揀左最貴既M6和牛,同埋鯛魚。Starter就揀左兩個都要加錢既items。

落左單,佢地就送上一盤麵包。經典既法包做得好有水準,外脆內軟,又好夠麥香。再配佢地home-made既醬汁,味道好獨特,口感好rich。最驚喜就係牛油酥條喇 
 好重牛油香,好鬆脆,比唔少出名餅店既牛油酥更好食。可惜,麵包盤份量唔多,而且食完侍應們都無幫我地refill,呢度扣左少少分。

Starter 1: 鵝肝焦糖燉蛋 +$30

呢位係第二個驚喜位,聽個名已經覺得好想試,好似前菜又好似甜品既一個item。賣相好吸引,一啖入口,不得了喇!好香脆既焦糖,伴住好濃郁既鵝肝味湧入喉嚨,好難忘。因為整成燉蛋既關係,成個質感好幼滑,同一大啖鵝肝入口既heavy感覺好唔同,食幾多都唔覺得太重口味。

老公最鍾意飲龍蝦湯,去到邊都要飲,食法國大餐都當然唔例外啦!龍蝦湯係即製既,好熱夠溫度。湯底好香濃,質感好厚實。而且好足料,好好多龍蝦肉,好鮮甜,我都忍唔住偷飲左好多。

Main dish 2: M6和牛肉眼 ($458)
和牛好厚身好大件,係切件上的。每一件各都有肥瘦部分,好均勻。我地叫左medium,煮出黎岩岩好,切開仲有少少紅色既汁,火候控制得非常好。處理牛扒方面,一定要讚一讚大廚!可惜醬汁同樣有少少失色。牛肉有牛味,都有牛脂肪獨有既香味,唔錯。

成餐飯既亮點係麵包籃(好高質)同starter(有創意有驚喜有誠意)。主菜其實都幾好食,但實在無咩驚喜,叫做不過不失,不過都算係對得起價格(四個人$1680)。為左佢個牛油酥同starter,我會再幫襯的,希望下次主菜都可以有驚喜啦!
