Tispy老板新開的餐廳,見到網上的介紹幾吸引,餐牌有趣,而且頗喜歡Tipsy,滿懷期待來試試。環境不錯。不過衞生一般,我們12點到,第一輪,梳化位上有兩條頭髮。經理經常用手碰口罩,然後又傳菜上枱,在這敏感時期不太好。一碟Nuts。經理上枱時,用枝透明液體牘上面噴了幾下,卻一句介紹也沒有。正常人也會想知噴了甚麼,而且你在食客面前噴而不是在廚房裡噴應該有噱頭吧。有些是苦的,都幾苦。焗完,熱的,卻不脆。唯獨香料的調味不俗。炸菇,正常,偏濕。Tuna Carpaccio,一般。兩細塊artichoke,有渣。Pasta, 等了很久。賣相不錯。可是完全沒有味。汁和意粉完全分離,很好奇到底意粉和汁有沒有一起煮過。幸好,意粉的口感還可以,汁的味道還好。Tipsy的意粉好100倍。這道比我自己煮還要差。又等了很久。一次出幾份,讓我覺得去了茶餐廳。魚正常。汁可能是不足料,可能是未煮完,一個字,淡。蔬菜很硬。經理沒有表情,一言不發,奇怪。除了超級失望,就是超級失望。

呢款鷹嘴豆泥餅係地中海一款好地道既小食,因為係油炸既,所以食落係會點都會有少少油膩

大蝦都整得好好食,好有驚喜,而且starter真係比較特別同埋用左檸檬油,會fresh啲!比起用橄欖油個油膩感會冇咁重。雖然影左陣相凍左少少,不過都好好食。

整體呢幾個starter都好滿意!😋👍🏻

野飲唔記得左叫咩名,一杯係Lemonade另一杯唔記得左,有D橙味,幾女fresh,影相又靚,相當吸引。

Overall嚟講係地鐵站行幾分鐘就到,相當方便,而且位置都比較清靜,同朋友黎傾下計可以坐outside好有情調,而坐inside都好有feel,倆口子真係黎拍下拖,又唔係太熱鬧嘅地方,真心一定會再黎!

原本點這個只是打算選擇一個全日套餐,可是最令我有驚喜的是grilled flank steak ,烤牛側腹首先見到顏色已經非常靚,紅卜卜五成熟,而且口感軟腍,牛香四溢極為高質,而且也有比較特別的腸仔,香料和肉質的口感都非常特別,炒蛋等等蛋香當然也非常不錯。

甜品當然不少得傳統意大利風味的乳清奶酪卷,外皮香脆像蛋糕筒,甜香滋味,難怪是意大利的甜品代表!

提拉米蘇也非常特別,跟平時吃到的港式提拉米蘇很不同,鬆化得多,也沒有香脆的餅乾,但有香濃朱古力及辣香酒已非常好吃,相信一般在家中難以整到。

朋友點的Seafood Bouillabaisse本來以為份量會很少,結果上來份量蠻多的,賣相也討喜,煎到魚皮酥脆的鱸魚,魚肉鮮嫩緊實,蜆肉肥美具彈勁,充斥絲絲海味。龍蝦湯長時間慢火熬煮,多重過濾的手法將雜質去除,剩下龍蝦的湯精華,挺不賴的。

Brandt Beef Tri Tip Steak超有霸氣又有氣場,木托盤配上有氣勢的牛排,裝飾的食材一點不馬虎,採用牛至蕃茄仔和椰棗。牛排片片精彩,看看油脂分佈,夭壽的好吃,美味極致,能吃到Brandt Beef Tri Tip Steak真是幸無比,五分熟的牛排肉質細嫩多汁,它的煎香味到底要逼死誰,太犯規了。

etna Tiramisu不是甜點,這是幅畫,是藝術作品,超漂亮的。意大利軟芝士怎麼可以軟柔精美,吃下去滑到不行。特濃咖啡戚風蛋糕如羽毛飄逸鬆軟,入口即化,混合朱古力醬,意大利軟芝士吃,另類Tiramisu的演繹,多有趣。

1)Fried Portobella mushrooms with volcano sauce-The batter is flaky and light. The mushroom is fresh and flavourful.

2)Spaghetti Carbonara - Instead of egg yolk,  Chinese salty eggs are used and the result is surprisingly delectable and original.

3)Grilled Mediterranean Sea Bream - A simple dish prepared with wild herbs and lemon.  The result is quite refreshing and light.    

They also have a good selection of Etna and Italian wines on the menu.  If you are looking for adventurous alternative dining spot and
 and enjoy a  quiet night at the neighbourhood , this is the place where price is still reasonable.

呢一個appertizer主要係鵝肝醬,用上小荳蔻甜菜根、蜜餞橄欖同croutons伴碟。

一入口就食到非常濃郁而且順滑嘅鵝肝醬,大滿足。特別值得一提的是croutons香脆十分,令到成碟嘅層次感提高咗好多!

份量好多,感覺好抵食,係Carpaccio上面有好tiny嘅牛油果粒、血橙、醃過嘅本菇同煙燻朝鮮薊,科普時間,朝鮮薊係薊屬植物尚未成熟的花苞,香港一般叫雅枝竹,佢嘅花蕾可用於烹飪,薊心可食用。
最特別嘅係佢用到mustard oil同紅辣椒汁黎吊味,食落去更加鮮味。

之後就係兩個main🥰時間與得好好,我哋啱啱食完三個starters就上啦☺️❤️

又點可以唔叫佢呢一個招牌甜品呢?
冇諗過係可以咁特別,竟然用到espresso chiffon去擺盤,蛋糕體濕潤有回彈,咖啡味恰到好處,而tiramisu最重點嘅馬斯卡彭慕斯亦都好出色,加上特別嘅辣椒巧克力甘納許點綴,係令人好驚喜嘅一個甜品

飲品方面我們點了兩款White Wine,咁樣先至為之一個完美嘅dinner🥰

Seating was spacious and not cramped. They also had outdoor seating where we did see a number of people enjoying happy hour.

I can understand why there were a number of people enjoying a glass of wine. They offered an excellent happy hour dear.

But we were here for dinner. Menu is in English only. There is no Chinese. But it was concise and to the point. Not pges upon pages but one page to give an over all glance at to not overwhelm you without feeling there wasn't enough to choose from.

Boyfriend wanted wine so he asked for a recommendation. Finally he chose a glass of Pinot Grigio ($78 a glass) and I had a cranberry juice ($50).

We started with starters and chose three as we assumed portions would be small. WOW. Were we wrong. These were more than enough to share.


Tuna Carpaccio ($158). Thinly sliced tuna with the addition of smoked artichoke, mustard oil and red pepper juice.  There were also little bits of enoki mushrooms and sea grapes. Plating was beautiful and well balanced looking. The artichokes added a nice dimension to the fresh tuna and the sea grapes gave it some pop. Though I felt it needed a squeeze of acidity to really make it well balance.

Warm Poached Prawns ($158). This was probably my favorite of the evening. Plump prawns just slightly cooked with  a fragrant lemon oil. They were balanced with crunchy zucchini slices topped with a spicy chili jam that wasn't too spicy that you couldn't go on but just enough to open your eyes and say wow, that really hit me.

Grilled Humboldt Giant Squid ($158). The squid was just cooked so it was still soft.  It was well seasoned. Underneath was a plethora of items such as haricot verts that were spiced with something resembling gojuchang. Crunchy radishes were found for that crunchy texture so it didn't feel like you were eating one dimension. There were also pickled small onions to give it a acidity.

Next came our choice of pasta dish. Soft Shell Crab Fettucine  "Puttanesca" ($238). This was definitely a heavily Asian influenced on the classic Italian Puttanesca. Thus, why it was in quotes. Instead of the usual tomato, olives, capers and garlic, what is brought forth is the use of gojuchang. Giving it the intense red color and spiciness that wakes you up. But the chef didn't add too much to numb your tastebuds. Just enough to lift it up and still let the freshness of the crab meat shine through. They added a very crispy soft shell crab on top as well. The pasta was handmade and very al dente. It clung to the sauce well and didn't leave a watery pool at the end.

We then followed this up with a secondi. Seafood Bouillabaisse ($328). Another Asian interpretation of the classic French dish.  It was packed with a variety of seafood items such as clams (and plenty of it), a prawn and seabass. All this with a lobster broth. The broth wasn't very strong which was fine as it wasn't so heavy that it overpowered the star of the dish: the seafood. The seafood itself was fresh. The prawn juicy. The clams fresh. The seabass was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The best part? The skin was crispy and not chewy like so many places I've been to recently.

Finally, dessert. We couldn't decide on one so we chose two.

Etna Tiramisu ($98). This was deconstructed take on the classic tiramisu. Beautifully plated dessert. Instead of lady fingers, we get espresso chiffon cake that was so soft and fluffy. The marscapone cream was light yet decadent.  It had a beautiful caramel sauce on top with chocolate powder. Surrounding it was chocolate chili ganache.  Giving it not only sweetness but it ended with a serious kick of spice.

Rhum Baba ($88). Also beautifully plated. The vibrant passion fruit caramel was sour and went well with the sweet  rhum baba. There was heavily soaked rum sultans in the cake and all was topped with rich chantilly cream that wasn't too sweet but had a hint of vanilla. I could have done with a bit more soaking of the rum throughout the cake but otherwise, wondeful none the less.

Service was attentive. Plates were changed at a timely manner without asking. Recommendations were on point and friendly. Food was interesting and technically well done.  The place was full on a weekday so obviously word has gotten out on this hidden gem.

Only opened for less than 2 weeks, nice decor, clean and the outdoor seating during happy hours is very pleasant. But because it’s new, it still needs a bit more time to get things to run well. There is no food available during happy hours from 3 to 530pm. Even when the kitchen is closed, I earnestly ask the manager to consider providing bar snacks like chips and peanuts, anything in fact that is not reliable on the chefs’ availability but can keep your patrons satisfied.If this issue can be res

If this issue can be resolved, it’s a good place for drinks.

ps: only one standalone bathroom for ladies. Don’t want to go all at once!
