It's been a while since I came here. Gishiki Lounge @gishikiloungehk is a Japanese-inspired cocktail bar in Central underneath Block 1 Tai Kwan. The interior of this place is modern and classic with dim light, there is a Japanese mask hanging on the wall. It surrounds you in a magical world when you step through the door. Its new menu is based on the traditional structure of classic Japanese Noh plays, which begins with Jo, before progressing into Ha, and culminating with Kyu. Cocktails from each chapter compound on top of one another, creating its own story while transporting the palate.


Shiwajo (HKD138) is one of my favorite cocktails, it has a grassy smell of vegetable juice, made with herbs, shiso, and vegetal. It tastes herbaceous, tart, and refreshing. What a subtle taste! O-Tobide (HKD138) was a harmonious blend of dry gin, prickly pear, mikan sake, and champagne acid, topped with strawberry air, perfectly balanced in both taste and presentation. It tasted like a watermelon mixture, I'm sure girls will love it! Gishiki also offers a small selection of snacks.

We started our evening with the Jo chapter, and the Omi-Onna cocktail made with shirasagi blended whisky. Its smooth and rich flavors set the stage for what was to come. We also had the Juroku cocktail featuring sailor jerry spiced rum, it was a delightful blend of warmth and spice, creating a captivating taste experience.

Moving on to the Ha chapter, we were treated to the Fudo cocktail crafted with monkey shoulder whiskey. Its depth and complexity were truly mesmerizing, leaving us craving for more. The Shiwajo cocktail, made with Copenhagen dill anise aquavit, added a unique twist to the collection, surprising our taste buds in the best way possible.

As we entered the final chapter, Kyu. We enjoyed the Hanakobu cocktail, featuring Johnnie Walker Black Label, which brought a harmonious balance of flavors, leaving us in awe of the craftsmanship behind each creation. Finally, the Shojo cocktail made with Tanqueray London Dry Gin provided a refreshing and invigorating finale to our tasting journey.

最後一杯,也是來到能劇高潮的最終章,每一款cocktail的味道都是酒味最濃烈也是最複雜,經調酒師選了非常獨特,也是客人反應最兩極化,一款以菇菌類為主題的cocktail!可以想像到這個是什麼味道嗎?先以威士忌作為主調,加入蘑菇、濃縮紫菜汁及冬季黑松露油,最後放上帶洋蔥苗作結,飲後感最為複雜,濃烈的酒香再散發冬菇的氣味,繼而喝到松露油的香氣,鹹鹹的味道很重,再稍試一口洋蔥苗,辣感即時湧至,整個味道複雜餘韵也強烈久久未能散去~ 個人來說就很喜歡這個了,以菇菌類作主題的cocktail本來就少見,而這個口感更是絕了!要來試試看才會明白我的感受啊!

店家是位於中環大館的一間帶有神秘感的酒吧,全因位置比較隱蔽,大門招牌不明顯,進門拉開絨布門簾就是酒吧而右邊其實是日本餐廳~ 酒吧的空間不大,小小的空間選用藍綠色和木色為的主調,予人低調奢華,也瀰漫著古樸神秘的感覺!
鋪中處處都能找到日本傳統能劇的主題:紙扇造型的drink list、傳統能劇面具和佈置等;特別欣賞店家以每幕能劇為題創作多款酒精飲品,非常有心思,也讓每位客人循序漸進地細味各款以標誌性能劇面具命名的cocktails,從獨特的食材組合體現出劇中每個人物的特點和故事,令人印象深刻也感受到調酒師的用心
整個環境也是個人很喜歡,環境華麗但別具特色,想跟朋友把酒言歡這裡實在合適不會太吵鬧;調酒師也會細心的為不同喜好的客人推薦及詳情介紹飲品,經過他們的講解後會覺得cocktail更好喝啊!而且價格不昂貴,全部飲品都是劃一價格啊~
店家還會定期舉辦活動讓顧客每次來到都有新鮮感,這次來訪就遇上了塔羅牌諮詢活動,只要購上一杯cocktail就可以參加了,有興趣的朋友可以先留意店家社群再去!不過整體來說非常推薦在中環附近吃晚飯想來喝一杯的朋友來,但要留意這裡座位不多周末時段會比較滿
