鮮蝦燒賣($48)感覺似乎怪怪,而且還是超大籠的上檯;不過試過之後,卻連平日不吃燒賣的我也覺得讚! 因為除了面層的大蝦夠鮮爽,底層的豬肉也香而不膩,味道上佳之餘,大大粒也吃得特別滿足。

當晚又有很滋補的
鮮杏汁花膠燉白肺湯(細$188 / 大$388),對於孕媽媽來講太開心了! 奶白色的湯味道濃郁鮮甜,飲來還有膠質殘留咀角,可見其足料又夠火;事實上我在享用頭盤前已飲完這盅湯,當堂飽了一半了! (當然先前的芝士也有關係~)

雙逢玉帶繞龍腰($188),是以鮮蝦及帶子,加上煙肉卷起再香炸而成,吃時再點上沙律醬,特點是香脆可口同時也鮮甜。不過我會嫌煙肉的咸香,有點搶過海鮮的甜呢。

乾坤花尾龍躉($480),其實即是龍躉兩吃,第一味是爆炒斑球:鮮美肉嫩的斑柳,襯以雜菌及時蔬自然美味;另一味則是香炸龍躉頭及尾,相當香口吸引,不過多吃會有一點膩,特別是晚我們吃的是加大了的豪華版,非常之豐富啊!

多人吃飯,始終還是中菜最窩心;有見中秋佳節將臨,餐廳也特別推出了三款中秋節套餐,包括「家好月圓宴」($2,388+10%/ 6位)、「中秋喜双逢」($3,988+10%/12位),以及「富貴團圓宴」($6,888+10%/12位);前兩款套餐會包括部份當晚試食的菜式,而後一款就再升級更豪華了。而即日起至9/15前惠顧套餐,更可獲贈喜双逢精裝奶皇月餅一盒,當晚所見成品挺吸引的。
 
最後,隨著孕期來到37週,肚中妹妹已經足月可以隨時出世了,當晚大概也是FHY最後一場試食了,很慶幸也留下了美好回憶。Partners請繼續努力,等我坐完月再一起試食啦!

從小到大都頗喜歡吃這道菜的,或者平日吃太多肉,是需要一些素來平衡一下。腐皮有點脆身,內裡的餡料鮮甜帶點濕潤,作為一道前菜是不錯的選擇。

鮮蝦燒賣 $48
或者在照片上,你看不到這個燒賣有多誇張,但我敢肯定看到實物一定嘩然,此燒賣超大粒,直徑差不多長5cm,我想應該是我所吃過最大粒的燒賣。而燒賣富有肉汁,肉質亦帶點彈牙,而那隻大蝦更是很新鮮,爽口又彈牙,愛燒賣的你不容錯過。

這天我們一圍12人,所以準備了12粒給我,場面十分壯觀。

大概我現在很少有機會喝湯水,所以有機會享用定會喝清,更何況這用料十足的白肺湯,杏汁味不算強,湯頭濃而清,像牛奶一樣的質感,鮮甜可口,花膠份量亦不少,我真的很愛這個湯,每天喝也不會厭。

接下來便是這繞龍腰,看上去似平平無奇的炸物,但其實煙肉包著了蝦和帶子,炸海鮮吃得多,還是頭一次吃炸煙肉海鮮卷,煙肉鹹香度十足,因為當中實在充滿太多不同的味道,所以吃時也沒有沾旁邊的沙律醬呢。

杏汁雪山包 (一客3件,$38) 懷舊薑汁糕
這個雪山包,外層有點像墨西哥包和菠蘿包的混合體,甜甜的帶點脆,而內裡則是流著白色的杏汁,杏仁味不算很濃,即使怕杏仁味的也可以一試。
起初看到薑汁糕時,我還以為是紅棗糕,吃進才知道原來是薑汁糕,薑汁味超濃,層數很多,所以糕身非常的黏韌彈牙,味道超棒,如果喜歡薑汁又愛黏韌食物的朋友,定會喜歡。

生磨合桃露
這個我就覺得一般,質地不夠濃稠,合桃味亦不夠足,可以再好點吧。
來之前,對這裡是沒甚麼期望的,以為只是普通的粵菜而已,但吃罷便發覺自己太偏見了,味道不是只有豉油味,用料新鮮,配搭得宜,是一間不錯的飯店。看到openrice的喊多過笑,起初以為會吃到一些"垃圾",但原來是不錯的。
謝謝公關的邀請,其實吃得多西餐,偶爾也想吃吃中菜的。

脆皮雲吞 $36: 8分, 最後一款五福臨門的菜色就是脆皮雲吞, 個皮真的是做得非常香脆, 熱度對辦, 但不會太油膩, 炸功是幾出色的. 至於雲吞餡亦幾鮮味, 剩吃當然是美味, 點上甜酸醬的話會是更開胃呢.

鮮杏汁花膠燉白肺湯 $388: 9分, 到了湯品, 是晚試的是鮮杏汁花膠燉白肺湯, 單看名字也大概知道是相當滋補的出品. 湯呈奶白色, 味道相當鮮甜, 帶杏汁的香味, 當然不要錯過湯料, 吃吃花膠以及白肺, 也是很健康的選擇呢. 這客湯, 細的賣價是$188, 而大的就是$388, 是值得推介的項目.

雙逢玉帶繞龍腰 $188: 7分, 下一道菜色就是手工菜雙逢玉帶繞龍腰, 用煙肉去卷起鮮蝦及帶子去炸, 質感不俗, 幾香脆, 不過這個組合就不算太匹配, 煙肉味道太搶, 那份鹹味已經蓋過了鮮蝦及帶子的鮮味, 有點可惜了.

(1) I would highly recommend this steamed diced sea bass dumplings (深海鱸魚餃) ($30) to people who don’t like pork or shrimps, which are prevalent in Chinese dim sums. The sea bass inside the dumplings was tender and juicy, and even though the dumplings were bursting with flavours, they were light and not oily, which means that you would not be too full after eating them to try other dim sums.

Even in such a commonplace dish, Joy & Joy has managed to distinguish itself from the others: the chilli sauce was appropriately spicy, and the dumplings were glazed in a bit of honey, giving it a deliciously sweet touch. The aroma of the chilli sauce wafted through the air, and what impressed us the most was the pork in the dumplings which were succulent and chewy, unlike some lesser Chinese restaurants that would use tasteless, fatty minced pork in their dim sums.

The meat was exquisitely soft and tender, the meat juices were bursting with flavours, and I loved how thickly the pork was cut. (7) Everyone who has tried this fried rice with black truffle, ginger & egg white(黑松露薑米蛋白炒飯) ($168) only had nice things to say about it. The black truffle taste was strong and enticing, and it went surprisingly well with the fried rice. The minced choy sum gave the fried rice some crunch, the deep fried baby shrimps added flavours to it, and the lightness of the egg white and the punchiness of ginger brought this marvellous dish together.

(8) Lastly, this baked bun with almond cream (雪山杏汁餐包) ($38) is what keeps me coming back to the restaurant. The divine layer of buttery crust, the extremely fluffy buns and magical almond cream filling, lovingly made everyday with fresh almonds, made this one of the best Chinese buns I have tried in Hong Kong. I learned the importance of using a knife after I had tried cutting the bun in half with a pair of chopsticks and failed miserably - as you can see in the photo. The filling had a creamy yet runny consistency, and it was incredibly thick, indulgent and lovable; I simply cannot get enough of these buns!

The food at Joy & Joy is remarkably tasty and is always served fresh and piping hot. The service is keen and attentive, and the setting is sumptuous and sleek. Even though meals at Joy & Joy can get quite expensive, I will willingly pay these prices when the restaurant has so much to offer. I only hope that one day I will stop being addicted to their baked bun with almond cream (雪山杏汁餐包)!

我們吃了:

1. 杏汁花膠燉白肺
如果不是我負責點菜,還以為是雞湯呢! 沒有杏汁味,只有雞湯味及雞油浮面,湯渣也只有半只雞、兩小片灰色的豬肺、杏仁一片也沒有...


2. 頭抽瓦罉雞
這個雞很嫩,可惜味道不是頭抽的味,而是有甜味的生抽的味,所以有點被騙的感覺。

3. 清蒸沙巴東星班
這條魚很新鮮,肉也厚,可惜蒸的不完全「透」,所以只有外圍的肉可以吃,應該說只有半條魚可以吃。魚因為新鮮所以甜,因清蒸,所以只放蔥絲、生抽及熟油,分量也算恰當。

4. 蜜椒煎金蠔
這個我想是除了湯之外,抬上最差的一個菜!!!
金蠔是放在生菜托上的,可是我們見到的不是金蠔,而是黑蠔!!! 還有咬下去的時候,只有胡椒粉搶喉(胡椒粉多得像雷沙湯丸的雷沙一樣),恐怖的是,在這麼多胡椒粉的情況下,蠔還是有腥味

5. 薑汁生炒芥蘭
我在電話預早訂菜的時候已經問清楚:芥蘭嫩嗎?可以嗎?答案是:當然可以啦! 實況:芥蘭已經開始老,所以已經硬,也所以很多地方已經被切到好像菜市場的剩菜,還有薑汁欠奉(沒有薑汁味),只有一些薑塊(壓扁了的)隨菜附上。

6. 蒜茸豆苗
哈哈! 我想這個菜是最正常的呢!雖然豆苗不是很嫩,但是還可以的。 味道不太咸,但菜面比較油,用滾水沖了一下,還是閃閃的菜面。蒜味是有的,但卻看不到蒜茸。

7. 燒鵝拼叉燒
叉燒是值得一讚的!
因為色澤光亮(但卻不是油面的效果),叉燒邊有小小燒焦的效果,很香脆,肉質嫩且厚,很有口感!味道也剛剛好,恰當的甜味、恰當的咸味!

8. 砂窩鮑魚雞粒煨飯
話明砂窩,但卻用碟上,而且不熱的,也不香!鮑魚與雞粒更有保護色,吃完之後,發現了一些不肯定是冬姑還是鮑魚的物體,味道更不用說:沒有鮑魚味,沒有冬姑味,沒有咸味,只有淡淡的蠔油味!還有是不太乾,所以剩了半碟沒吃!

9. 阿一鵝掌撈粗麵
鵝掌炆得很軟滑,但味道普通,有小小鮑汁味,但整碟只有五只小鵝掌,真的「食水深」,粗麵也不錯,雖然還有小小鹼水味,但還可以吃的!

金錢雞($58):吃的時候其實不知是什麼,只知有三塊東西,後來查看資料,才知道是肥豬肉、枚頭豬肉和雞肝組成的。吃下去,很焾,少少鹹,是鮮肉的味道,但不覺得有什麼特別。
蠔皇什菌菰($48):蠔油炒各種菌類如冬菇、秀珍菇及雞脾菇。不特別,但勝在不太鹹也不油膩,還算不錯。

泡菜($18) x2:收據寫「泡菜」,其實是指那兩小碟花生。

埋連加一$1515,平均每人$168,非常貴。說實在,食物的味道是不俗的,但除了杏汁餐包是令人十分驚喜及餃的餡料鮮味外,其他不是太特別,沒大驚喜。環境一般,檯與檯之間略為狹窄,有點焗促,服務也只是一般。如果自己付這個價錢來吃東西,不太值。

我奉勸所有唔係熟客既人唔好幫襯今日老闆請食飯,我地一行七個人 book 左一點鐘。去到果陣係 12:57,佢竟然話未有檯。聽 d 知客間既對答,張檯竟然係俾左一個唔知咩太既熟客!都算,佢地然後同我地講有第二張台埋緊單,叫我地睇住食咩先。我地一等就等左四個字,到一點四。催個知客,佢只係黑面地講左句「等陣啦!」,然後直情失蹤,想催都催唔到。等到唔耐煩,見到佢地執緊一張檯於是我地就行入去 hau 住張台到佢地執到咁上下,老闆叫我地唔好理佢,坐低左先果然,一坐低個知客就埋黎話呢張台係呀朱太架喎!!!!!!我地當然同佢理論,然後照坐。我地訂左係一點鐘,你地自己將張檯俾左熟客,對唔住都唔講聲,仲想俾多檯熟客打尖?當我地 lulu 呀!我地同行仲有大肚婆,於是同佢講話我地等左四個字,仲有個大肚婆,佢先唔再出聲。個知客全程仲要十問九唔應,黑晒面咁,見到都唔開胃。後來我地坐低叫完野食到開始上菜,見到外面個疑似朱太仲呆等中。如果唔係咁夾梗坐低,我諗我地一點七都唔使旨意有位。荒謬既事豈止於此。我地有位同事隻杯有 d 唔知污糟定點,同個服務員姐姐講佢睇一睇,竟然好串咁話「呢 d 唔係污糟,係裂左!」真係 th

荒謬既事豈止於此。我地有位同事隻杯有 d 唔知污糟定點,同個服務員姐姐講

真係 thank you for your information! 俾隻爛杯人仲要咁惡。咩原因都好,你都係要換過隻杯俾客架啦。咩態度!

全間野只有一個女服務員係似樣少少,識一眼關七,見我地埋單埋左五分鐘都未埋到,主動幫我地追收銀。(最後收銀碌卡又碌左五分鐘…又係呢位姐姐幫我地追,我地先可以埋到張單…)

老實說,味道係好既。以中環黎講,有點心食既地方唔多,呢間既質素算係唔錯。但原來訂左檯都可以俾熟客話打尖就打尖,仲要好似我地得罪佢咁,做咩生意呀呢間野???

以後情願去遠少少既紫玉蘭同潮庭都唔去呢間。貴就大家都貴,人地果度起碼叫做 reasonable,貴都貴得 gur d!

同事因打風下雨沒有去海洋公園便取消假期返工和我們共四人去飲茶.好奇怪這裏的女接待員黑口黑面好似好唔開心咁…….點心款式極少我們叫了蜜餞燒鱔,燒得又香又脆,好好味.其它點心末上,已經上飯,叫了鲍魚鷄粒煨飯 (138元),當然好難找到鲍魚啦!翠華茶餐廰的玉蘭鲍汁鷄粒飯(約58元)仲好味!接着便是蝦餃,燒賣,味道OK座了不久有三個人論流問同一個問題,點心上齊未?已經想趕客,但我們還在等杏汁餐包後加了甜品,鴛鴦桂花糕,上層是桂花糕,下層是馬豆糕, 味道一般.當杏汁餐包一上抬,伙計便話要埋咗單先,唉,每次來也是想趕客,總之唔會給你嘆茶傾計的機會.以這價錢應該有更好選擇

當杏汁餐包一上抬,伙計便話要埋咗單先,唉,每次來也是想趕客,總之唔會給你嘆茶傾計的機會.

以這價錢應該有更好選擇

三月中旬中環區內也算是高消費的粵菜館,是日與區內上班食友談談另一邊廂的飯局事宴,就訂了檯來試試風評不錯的叉燒及杏汁包,而長年掛牌的粵式杏汁白肺湯,亦不可錯過。這裡叉燒著實不錯,是半肥瘦梅頭,厚切鬆嫩帶蜜甜,很合市場口味,愛吃半肥叉的朋友當沒投訴之理,好的開始卻敗在一碗白肺湯,白肺乃燒味檔的「黑肺」例湯,豈有此理的分享將於網誌 http://foodxfile.blogspot.com 分享。

第一次到喜双逢晚飯,因為是團年飯關係,菜式十分名貴。因為酒樓格局並不討好,環境只屬一般,所以沒有太大期望,反而有很大驚喜最最值得推介的是花膠,厚厚的花膠公,用刀輕輕一切,膠質已立即將刀黏住,只要一小口放進咀內,花膠的香即完全滲透其餘菜式也不錯,甜點杏汁包實屬誠意之作

其實呢間酒樓d野食真係唔錯, 不過d服務就真係好唔掂啦! 我都唔知點解係中環高級食肆竟然會有d咁o既service...唔執台, 叫又唔應, 又唔識得沖水, 叫埋都唔沖好似聽唔到咁, 最終行埋o黎沖啦仲黑口黑面好似得罪o左佢咁, 都唔知咩態度...我o黎食野係諗住同d朋友開開心心食餐飯, 唔係o黎受氣囉...除o左呢d之外, 最離譜o既就係d女接待員, 竟然會大大聲係度講粗口, 果日俾我朋友聽到, 之後即刻走人啦, 爛到呀...真係好難形容! 幾好食都唔想再去啦!!! 都唔知果度有冇management!!!仲有個女廁都唔知有冇人洗o既…個地下好sticky, 衛生真係一般啦!
