又係lunch同肥b食飯,佢有午餐同飯餐,我叫飯餐,有兩個湯,兩個(咕嚕肉同鹽焗雞),另+兩碗飯.唔包飲(我同肥B每人另叫杯凍飲)湯我無飲, 肥b話都ok, 有少少味精,咕嚕肉個味幾好,夠酸, 但d肉唔夠"趣", 鹽焗雞有少少唔熟,有少少血,隻雞夠味,肉都滑,D飯反宜硬D,以食講都OK!但以環境講,咪普通茶餐廳,D阿姐成日企係度,但你同佢講佢又好似聽到又好似聽唔到咁,到最後當然聽唔到,激死人!

但凡食物或餐廳被阿蘇介紹過,總會吸引一班生客親身體驗,當然食過之後感受如何,絕對見人見智。我同男朋友一向都有去牛記食飯,老闆好人,食物好味,環境唔稱得上絕佳,卻已是預計之內。節目出街後昨晚再去,星期六夜晚八點左右,門口有人龍。等候期間所見所聞,生客佔多數,熟客都有,不過他們一見如此場面,都打包回家慢慢享受。廿多分鐘後坐低落單,聽到廚房傳來蘿白牛腩煲賣剩一客,除預訂外,不再接新單,真夠誇張。我們就叫了牛腩煲和肉碎海蝦浸勝瓜,白飯兩碗,食得津津有味。期間又聽到廚房傳來白飯售罊。剛煲好的白飯不消一會又被消滅,確是厲害。顧客多,水準依然,最為難得。若然為賺錢,老闆大可降低要求,食物質素雖然參差,在傳媒威力下仍能吸引慕名者光顧。不過牛記就是堅持要做好的食物,就憑這點,絕對值得一直捧場。

Lovely home-style cantonese food

Old fire pork and carrot soup pretty good.
玫瑰太后雞- great texture, fresh not frozen. Soy sauce subtle and sweet.
Tofu+fish balls- The minced fish meat stuck together with the tofu quite well. Texture springy, fish flavourful. Sauce was slightly thick but overall good dish.
煎脆肉餅- pork with diced water chestnut and anchovies, stesamed then fried. Very delicious, went very well with the slightly sour worcester sauce.
Fried green vegetables (dou miao) with garlic nicely done, the least oily I have ever seen, practically steamed. Healthy.
Steaming hot bowls of rice with the grains beautifully separate and fragrant.

Reasonably comfortable (no backs to the chairs though), service ok (too many customers), doing good business.

星期三..我同個fd去左街...佢諗住坐船返hm!!!點知又未食野同埋未有船返hm既關係...就周圍搵食野...本身諗住去食九記...點知好多人...so過左去牛記...入到去都算ok乾淨啦...諗緊食咩既時候...就有人介紹d生滾粥同埋炒面..另外叫多左2枝汽水...都等左個字到啦...d野食終於都黎啦...粥真係幾香喎...同埋佢落左d薑c同埋生菜...個炒面就脆卜卜...唔會咁淋...食到一半我飽到唔想再食...好在佢果到有tv睇姐...埋單果時都唔算太貴

有一段日子沒去牛記,今日友人一提,立即舉腳贊成!- 玫瑰太后雞:豉油汁味道剛好,雞鮮嫩.當場不顧一切,連皮也幹掉.- 蝦醬九菜豆腐:惹味,又不會太咸.豆腐先煎再煮,但內裡依然軟綿綿.略嫌九菜份量少了一點.- 煎脆肉餅:外面脆脆,肉質嫩多汁,還有馬蹄.感覺上既不油膩,又不熱氣.(實情是太好味,心理上如此對自己說,哈!)雖然換了廚師,但水準依然.連白飯也覺特別好,乾濕適中. 開心!!

昨天終於拉了同事跟我去試牛記.居然叫甚麼沒甚麼!我們坐樓上,只得一個哥哥招呼整層人,叫菜時已快要吐血.怎知叫完之後,還要告訴我們說除了午市套餐以外,因剛換了廚師的關係,其他小菜都不做了.甚麼蒸長洲三寶呀,浸勝瓜呀...都無呀!雖然那個例湯跟雪菜肉絲茄子很好吃(所以不忍心給喊面),但還是很失望呀... >_<~~~

 上個星期又嚟開餐,叫咗"支竹豆卜鮑魚菇",略嫌個芡埋得唔夠薄,但材料好味爽口;另外一味"蒜香骨",炸得乾身唔韌,香口滋味有肉汁,小肥一件駁一件,食完手指都唔會好油,配白粥和白飯是perfect match;是日老火湯係金銀菜煲豬骨,味道清甜,剛好去去肥膩,飲得出夠火喉.但今次無揀招牌菜有d後悔,上次"沙薑雞"同"蝦乾瑤柱上湯浸勝瓜"仍回味無窮,下次一定要試"長洲蒸三寶"同埋"脆煎肉餅".

鬼仔在香港過境,當然要出來飲番杯。在Soho路口飲左第一轉,要找點東西醫肚。當然不會帶佢去食西餐,就行落兩條街,在九記及牛記兩大品牌中,選了後者。呢度十年如一日,平日都係咁多人幫襯。選在在門口的卡位坐底,這裡搬了新舖後,地方當然新左,連架電視都清晰左。阿牛記老麥好野,隔幾年我廋左幾十磅佢都一眼認得我。他走來自動報料,話有半條鯇魚幾條紅衫,我指指鬼仔,佢立即醒目的轉軑:「咁要咕嚕肉定生炒骨?」就要了後者,同埋在這裡必叫的蒸長州三寶及灼芥蘭一碟,走去廚房睇下,窩薯仔蕃茄湯好似好對路,又一人要了一碗。先來湯,淨係睇碗內的幾舊紅蘿蔔及薯仔,煲到粒粒圓碌碌,就知煲得好夠火路。雖然湯面飄油,但夠味又濃郁甜美,剛好清洗那浸著啤酒的半個胃。老火湯,一向是這裡的強項,是個人而言,在牛記必叫的菜色之一;蒸長州三寶,就是第二味必叫的菜市場。三寶者,蝦乾、銀魚乾及魷魚乾是也,一大碟蒸好的三寶,舖上切幼的薑絲,淋上豉油熟油,夠香味又有睇頭。這一味三寶,鹹香有致,幾款乾貨都是靚貨,簡單得來又有風味。單是這味菜,已可下一碗大飯,再或用來下啤酒又可以,是個人而言,在牛記必叫的菜色之二;因為只得兩個人,吃不下那麼多,必

先來湯,淨係睇碗內的幾舊紅蘿蔔及薯仔,煲到粒粒圓碌碌,就知煲得好夠火路。雖然湯面飄油,但夠味又濃郁甜美,剛好清洗那浸著啤酒的半個胃。老火湯,一向是這裡的強項,是個人而言,在牛記必叫的菜色之一;

蒸長州三寶,就是第二味必叫的菜市場。三寶者,蝦乾、銀魚乾及魷魚乾是也,一大碟蒸好的三寶,舖上切幼的薑絲,淋上豉油熟油,夠香味又有睇頭。這一味三寶,鹹香有致,幾款乾貨都是靚貨,簡單得來又有風味。單是這味菜,已可下一碗大飯,再或用來下啤酒又可以,是個人而言,在牛記必叫的菜色之二;

因為只得兩個人,吃不下那麼多,必叫的第三味,只待下回分解了;

生炒骨一般水準,不太脆口又酸多於甜,不過鬼仔無咩要求,也是吃得津津有味的;芥蘭亦爽脆嫩綠,加點蒸三寶的豉油熟油,絕對是「汁都撈埋」。

阿姐招呼不錯,仍舊是家庭式風味。

埋單一百五十幾蚊,吃得飽一飽,很滿足。專誠來是不必,但在附近蒲完要吃點東西,也不錯。

之後再去飲過。
