今天下午,於帝苑洒店Sabatini餐廳,享用了一頓豐富的意大利自助餐,食物很新鮮,其中我最喜歡的食物有密瓜和Parma Ham,一口甜一口鹹,非常美味,口感非常好。還有那碟白汁黑松菌意粉,醬汁味道很香很膿,意粉很有質感和「痴牙」。最後,甜品有Tiramisu蛋糕,樣子討人喜愛,蛋糕表面舖上一層厚厚的朱古力粉末,蛋糕很香很滑不太甜,好像跟舌頭按摩似的,太美妙了!

He ordered a bottom of house white wine - quite expensive but money is never a concern to him...Just I think it's waste coz I am not a wine taster
The food were good as expected but nothing very suprise. We were too into each other and forgot to taste the food. The band sang a Old English song to us which was much more better than any singer on the TV.
We took a walk after the dinner and it was a memorable night for me. Hope there will be next time for us to have dinner together. I look forward to it........

人不算太多, 當然不用搶食. 訂位時文迪一早吩咐要坐在近食物的位置, 果然給了我們一個有利位置, 行都行小點. 環境繼續係理所當然的舒適.

先來一杯汽酒, 味道都不錯, 還送了一籃麵包, 循例都食了一小片, 跟著就出動.

Selection of Traditional Roman hors d'oeuvres Buffet: 10分, antipasto係自助式的, 都係每樣試小小已好夠. 先講海鮮, 或許無州際大堆頭, 但生蠔, 蟹腳同凍蝦已足夠. 生蠔係無乜海水味, 但都好新鮮, 大大隻, 都吃了兩件. 當然無蠔吧的質數, 但唔會係一般自助餐的水準.

蟹腳非常鮮甜, 小弟浪費地吃了不少. 凍蝦同樣地高水準, 又係相當鮮甜又清新.

沙律都有好多選擇, 當然只試了小小. 加上我一向喜歡食沙律搭西瓜, 這部份又填了不少空間.

仲有這裡掛頭牌的帕爾馬火腿加哈蜜瓜, 將切得薄薄, 入口無渣的帕爾馬火腿放在甜美的哈蜜瓜上, 只有吃完一件又一件. 晚上係$200一客, 單吃這個已值回不少票價.

吃著吃著, 又送來了龍蝦一隻, 大大隻, 又係好鮮甜, 肉不過老, 比上次無間道的龍蝦刺身出色不少.

Freshly Prepared Homemade Soup of the Day: 9分, 是日例湯係Cannellini Beans and Ham Soup, 湯係濃濃的, 美味.

Your Own Choice of Pasta at Our Cooking Counter: 10分, 這環節除了意粉外, 先食的係多士. 煎過的三文魚, 立魚加上吞拿魚, 配上多士, 好香口. 試了兩碟意粉, 忌廉汁Fettuccine, 相當香濃. 番茄汁Spaghetti, 加件扒同鱸魚, 越食越開胃. 始終覺得這裡的即煮意粉係一大賣點, 相當正.

Grilled Chilean sea bass on Ratatouille and roasted potatoes: 10分, 當我們戰鬥得七七八八, 侍應先會上主菜, 不用擔心. 鱸魚果然係招牌, 煎得剛好, 有鮮味, 帶點香, 完全唔覺腥.

Charred Lamb Chops: 10分, 來這裡, 當然要再食燒羊架. 兩件燒羊架, 食落口有香濃的炭燒味, 肉質係相當好, 並烤得剛好, 有點點騷味, 又係精彩.

Indulge in Our Creative Dessert Varieties from Our Master Pastry Chef: 10分, 當然不能錯過甜品, 更當然係食意大利芝士餅, 都不用說甚麼, 總之係得. 酒味香濃, 不太甜, 口感一流, 加上面頭的復活雞仔, 賣相都好得. 藍莓芝士蛋糕都不錯, 芝士味剛好, 蛋糕好滑, 有點芝士蛋糕工廠的風采. 燉蛋就好香滑, 不太甜. 自家製雪糕都相當美味, 尤其係朱古力味, 香濃又滑, 自製新地, 飽飽都要食.

Italian Coffee: 9分, 最後一節係咖啡, 並送上幾粒朱古力送咖啡, 香濃, 很好的完結.

係比從前貴了點, 但依然係令人回味. 有些餐廳係好食但無吸引力再來, 這裡係每一次食完都心掛掛, 又有衝動再來. 味道: 不能挑剔. 服務: 高水準. 環境/衛生: 當然的好. $428食到這麼多高水準的食物, 其實都係好抵的.

未來過的, 仍然值得來試. 食過的, 自然識得再來.

Starter:

Main course:
1.Grill Scampi : wonderful. It\'s so fresh!

2.Veal w/lemon sauce : not recommended!(but it\'s on the chef\'s recommendation menu & the waitress said it\'s the traditional dishes) i think veal & lemon sauce was not matched. The lemon flavor was too strong for veal.

Dessert
1.White chocolate mousse: better than expected.
2. I don\'t know what its name: some brown round things on the top, chocolate mousse & cream in the middle, the bottom was crispy. Too sweet overall.

The chocolate & cookies were too sweet for me, the chocolate almond cookie not as good as before.


Other recommendation: grill seabass, vegetable soup(I like the old flavor), pasta, tiramisu.

今日lunch在這裡食得很開心. 首先Starter係自助的buffet冷盤, 當中最好食係eggplant,pumpkin, 蜜瓜. Next, 係main course - lamb chop + milky baked potato, lamb + mustard sauce + mint sauce 一齊食, 真係好好食, 好fresh,如果鍾意食lamb chop一定會鍾意食.最後dessert真係令我好滿意, 個甜品車上有好多甜品可以choose.我同2個Big Sis一齊食, 所以可以choose三種甜品- chestnut pancake, puff w/ cream & raspberry cheesecake. 三種都好食, Chestnut pancake 唔會太甜,puff外面脆,入面好soft, cheesecake 上的raspberry jam好fresh, cheese好rich & soft. 服務十分好, 好體貼& nice. 比Cova的好十倍(Cova的waiters & waitress要檢討0下啦),感覺都唔同,食得好開心! ^0^

鄰桌尊貴的先生說o係全球咁多間Sabatini 之中,香港呢間做得最好;附和的小姐則謂鍾意香港Sabatini serve 既份量夠多...

質與量是重要,但作為香港首屈一指,但又serve 咁多non-traditional 兼non-Italian 野既餐館,對於「首屈一指既意大利餐館」這個說法,不敢苟同。

It was a birthday treat for my GF then (now an ex)...It was sunday evening and the place was cozy yet elegant. I booked a table a week in advance and we were offered a table by the wall facing the kitchen and the nicely decorated grill area. The tables were arranged in such a way that you could be a bit busy-body while maintaining a fair degree of privacy. The waiters were smart, attentive but never intrusive. It was sunday evening and the place was cozy yet elegant. I booked a table a week in advance and we were offered a table by the wall facing the kitchen and the nicely decorated grill area. The tables were arranged in such a way that you could be a bit busy-body while maintaining a fair degree of privacy. The waiters were smart, attentive but never intrusive.

The self serve antipasto looked and tasted fantastic. I ordered charcoal grilled lamb while she had pasta. To my surprise the lamb was slightly burned on one side but it was forgivable given the mood. It was still tender on the bite with lovely meat juice running. She said i cooked better pasta but i had a taste and it was nicely done in tangy tomato sauce. To top things off there was the desert cart - she was ecstatic...

With a bit of Chardonnay I nearly grabbed the guitar when the band moved to our table. I was glad I didn't make a fool of myself haha. Seriously I reckon they can do without the band (some might adore the philipino trio for singing jacky cheung's 每天愛你多一些)

雖說是semi buffet,但頭盤絕不簡單,包括了醃菜、沙律、風乾火腿及海鮮拼盤。
醃製蔬菜主要有西蘭花,椰菜,甜椒等,適量的吃一點絕對有助開開胃,而我覺得最好味的是醃蕃茄,酸中帶甜,但沒有遮蓋濃烈的蕃茄味。
沙律沒有吃,但少不了的是羅馬生菜和橄欖、提子乾、松子仁等,另有多款沙律醬汁。
Parma ham加哈蜜瓜是出名的意大利小食,這裡的風乾火腿有三、四款左右,也有煙三文魚。Parma ham薄薄的一片,入口脂肪溶化,油香十足,夾著哈蜜瓜吃則多了一份清新感,不過一咸一甜,撞在一起口感有點怪怪的。
海鮮拼盤有生蠔、大蝦同蟹腳。生蠔比較細隻,不太肥美,照計十月都係食蠔季節,應該不難找好一點的。蝦同蟹腳就非常新鮮,記憶中未試過食buffet有咁大隻蝦供應,蟹腳就肉味鮮甜,帶著淡淡的海水味。

吃過頭盤後,侍應送上了每位半隻的凍龍蝦,單是長長的蝦膏已經非當吸引。龍蝦膏的味道比較淡,沒有蟹膏那種霸道的濃烈,但仍不失香口。龍蝦肉質彈牙爽口,鮮味十足。

及後侍者為我們點了主菜,選擇包括燒雞胸、羊架、烤鱸魚或海鮮大會。我和太太點了羊架及鱸魚各一,因素聞這裡的羊架出名,機會當前定必一試。

就在等主菜時走到了意粉檯前,指指點點的選了一個牛柳蕃茄醬意粉。廚師會為你即席炮製,可以從三款意粉、兩款醬汁及兩款主菜(牛柳或三文魚扒)各選一款。意粉煙韌但比較硬身,廚師可以淥耐一點會更好。蕃茄醬內加入了火腿粒,味道濃郁,而牛柳是用即場用炭燒的,真的落足心機。

主菜上場了,羊架果然名不虛傳,大概六至七成熟,切的時候已感到肉質的嫩滑,入口果真鬆化,內裡鎖著豐富的肉汁,更難得的是還帶有甘香的脂肪,這是我吃過最好的羊架。鱸魚相對就比較失色了,只是肉質新鮮嫩滑,其他就沒甚麼驚喜。

到了最後的一個環節- 甜品。由於我倆都不是對甜品特別熱愛,所以都是每樣試一點就夠,不過一定要試的當然是這裡的招牌甜品Tiramisu,還有blueberry chesse cake都非常有水準。其實甜品還有很多的選擇,不過到了這個時候已經吃不下了。

總結:這裡食物的質素相當高,不但色、香、味俱全,更能看得出廚師對食物的熱誠,不是出面二、三百一餐的酒店自助可比。服務方面亦同樣出色,雖然是高級餐廳,但絕不會令你有侷促的感覺,你想侍應出現的時候他們就會出現,而且每位侍應都很親切,態度友善,應該是訓練有數的關係。

我和太太都對這餐很滿意,雖然貴,但絕對值得!

是日精選, 當然係甜品buffet啦, 甜品桌上放滿我喜愛的甜品, 包括tiramisu, 藍莓芝士蛋糕, 係我的至愛. 其他的pudding, mousse都不錯. 泡芙都有點驚喜, 雖然不是papa 那種熱騰騰的, 但都好好味, 不太甜, 內裡的cream 好香, 不漏.

真係好開心的一餐!

I have been to this restaurant several times. It's because it always gives me a good feeling from the first time i knew this restaurant. When i went there, i felt like being Trastevere, an old charming area in Rome.The waiters are professional, warm & helpful. Last time when i had my birthday dinner with my bf. I was so happy & touched by their atmosphere. When the b-cake was brought b4 me, the band was at the same time playing & singing b-songs to me. A waiter took an instant photo for us!! it'

I have been to this restaurant several times. It's because it always gives me a good feeling from the first time i knew this restaurant.

這裡的Semi-buffet lunch 係好抵食,淨係食parma ham and melon 已值回票價。我當天點了剪鱸魚。一般去高級西餐廳,都會點魚,因為他們做得都有水準。當然沒有令我失望。很好味,煎得洽度好處。香又不失鮮味。當然一定要試Tiramisu. Very good!

看罷餐牌上的這個簡介,至少沒有那種任吃的感覺。作為周日的午餐是不錯,悠閒的心情,沒有太多人的壓迫感,迎合了餐廳的風格。

怎少得了那杯汽酒,完全是為了食物作前奏,讓這個餐作序幕。

每一款的麵包均試了,足見功架,吃下去的味道是有水準,軟包鬆軟,其餘的香脆,而麵包條是最出色的,不會過硬,香脆美味,喜歡吃麵包的,怎能錯過。

一隻新鮮的龍蝦由侍應送上,入口已有濃厚海水味,蝦肉於是充滿彈性,已伴隨的蝦膏亦隨之而來,滿足感充滿。
沙律吧的蔬果每款新鮮,特別是橄欖、芝士伴蕃茄……目不暇給,喜歡蔬果的人吸引得心花怒放,而生蠔、蟹腳、大蝦、青口、魷魚……每款新鮮送上不在講,但生蠔質數有局限,雖是大大隻,但本人喜歡的中型至中小型的蠔,喜歡它蠔味十足才是,入口後海水味是十足,蠔肉軟滑但咬下去是爽口,唯獨此處的是略欠,
比起年前於holiday inn吃的那處有點距離,那處蠔的款式已有六至七種。
蟹腳是來自何方不得而知,唯吃下去是蟹肉一撕一撕地用叉子送入口中,伴以酒的話,完全是美妙,那種化學作用,無不令人雀躍。而本人的好朋友,蝦,怎能少得它?蝦肉是飽滿,唯始終是外國貨,千里迢迢的運送,長時間的旅程,人的精神大打折扣,更何況是少少的海鮮。欠缺蝦肉應有的鮮甜味,但急凍亦鎖住了部份。
“parma ham with Hami melon”先嚐少許火腿,醃製風乾,薄薄的一片,剩吃的已有水準,層次感十足,味覺亦隨之喚起來,當然中國烹調的醃製風乾功夫始終到家。後來加入哈密瓜,甚至密瓜,有微妙化學作用,那種突出的鹹味,配以甜密的瓜類,是互補不足,猶如腸粉或牛雜下少許甜醬,那化學作用一樣。
其後的火腿及香腸,每一款均試少量,伴以少許的蕃茄或橄欖,亦是美妙,少少的,已足夠。

Homemade soup of the day
期待,因從來是頗喜歡湯,特別是餐廳烹調,猶如是見面的第一印象。你試想吃西餐,除了那杯水,湯緊隨其後,先入為主是也。蘑菇濃湯,雖則放在cooking counter,但入口的香濃味道,肯定不是水份過多,因濃湯的質感是厚身,香滑美味,無需要放入seasoning,需要添加再添加。

Fresh fish with toast
初初經過,每碟的均附有三文魚、吞拿魚、(魚立)魚,心想怎會在此等的也有三文魚,不加入三文魚也可,真的沒有吃。但據聞鮮魚配多士是很好,唯有下次再吃。

First main course: Pasta at cooking counter
長意粉、長通粉及長扁麵陳列地展開,有感餐廳是引此以自豪的一面。廚師即席表演,少許橄欖油隨下,麵緊隨其後,醬汁也緩緩放下,不消數分鐘已完成,烹調時間剛好,過熟或過硬的情況沒有出現,而它的質感是有別於普通貨式,現貨的也要幾十元一盒,真材實料。
兩款味道:蕃茄汁、蘑菇白汁,絕對是靈魂,入口蕃茄汁,有濃烈的蕃茄香味,少許的香草碎,少許的魚肉,伴以不會過熟的長通粉,天衣無縫。而蘑菇香腸白汁,與蕃茄汁平分春色,香濃的蘑菇鮮味,碎碎的香腸肉,再伴以扁麵,絕不欺場,兩款難分高下。
鄰旁的燒牛肉及燒魚,是伴以意粉,燒牛仔肉也是一絕,少少的一塊,剛剛好,肉汁澎湃,香口的燒牛味道於表面洋溢,那種炭燒的香怎能抵擋,此牛仔肉值得一吃再吃,而燒魚也不錯,肉質亦嫩滑,香炭燒的味道佈滿。
美食當前,奈何真的不能全碟盡清,若然,怎對得起其後的主菜呢?

Second main course: Pan-fried Australian Lamb Chops, rare
沒有選擇Chef specialty,選的煎小羊架是鮮嫩,羊油分佈表面,小羊肉的彈性、味道盡有,難怪要煎,若燒的話真的會被減弱那質感,而那羶味是輕微,莫說汁料,剩吃已非常滿意,配合那Tuscany red wine sauce,不會蓋過肉味兼帶出鮮味,錦上添花。
Chicken with roasted potato
友人選了不是sea bass fillet, duck live or u.s. rib-eye,反而是侍應提議,是餐牌上沒有的菜式,試了少許的一塊,但雞胸肉是頗嫩滑,味道是清新的汁料。

Dessert and Cheese counter
“INDULGE”這字於餐牌上出現,似乎是餐廳引以為傲的菜式。
洗皮芝士:Taleggio、藍乳酪Gorgonzola
本人喜愛芝士多於甜品,小小的一碟,最喜歡的是外層香脆,接近牛油般滑,配以薄薄的crackers,真的一吃再吃。
與此同時是很多人為之動容的甜品,提及master pastry chef,試試它的酥皮甜點為妙。Fruit tart有藍苺、雜果,撻身是做得不俗,不油且乾身,吃下去是脆,牛油味道濃郁,配合新鮮水果,紅苺、藍苺、士多啤梨、密瓜、哈密瓜林林總總,少少的一件,精緻美味。
而趨之若鶩的tiramisu,整盤的是有那“TIRAMISU”八大字,可能是整盤放得久了,有少量水份,但味道是沒有因此而減弱,表面的可可粉均勻地佈滿,而中間的奶油是很滑,mascarpone芝士奶油、咖啡、甜酒是平均,各行其是。
Blueberry cheese cake,水準之作,奶油部份是實在,切出來是沒有瑕疵,吃下去是味道濃郁,上面的藍苺是美味,餅底是很香脆。
Chocolate Mousse cake, mango cake略為試少量,也是水準之作,而最後的homemade ice-cream吃了兩次,亦覺得十分美味。

Italian coffee and fine selection of tea
Espresso, cappuccino, milk tea亦是一杯接一杯,最值得讚許是espresso,真的很美味,香濃,小小的一杯,令人提神,那種濃咖啡味道,完全為了整餐作出平衡,當然叫多一種espresso是需要多付五十多元,但完全值得。

整體的服務水平是高,由入門口那一刻替客人放好雨傘、蒸餾水不停添置、每碟亦會替客人收妥、詳盡地解釋……全都是訓練有素,而食物源源不絕供應,沒有怠慢的地方。

註:想起Sabatini不自然地想起valentino,不是牌子、不是20世紀的大明星、不是歌名、不是人名,而是那種意式風情、格調、氣派、文化……
