To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

環境不錯,高高在上,望落大海一片, 令人心曠神怡。既然一家人咁開心,當然要吃個high tea啦個盆不太高貴,第一層是咸點,第二、三層是甜點。蘇格蘭煙三文魚開邊三文治,三文魚好正,咸咸哋。黑松露鵝肝多士, 鵝肝甘甘香, 黑松露太少吃不出味道來芝士撻,外層好脆, 芝士味不濃。cappuccino, 不過不失。這件拿破崙是送的,好脆,奶皇忌廉好好味。朱古力蛋糕,面層有少少金泊,件蛋糕好甜。太飽,要打包。628 for two 未加一,好貴呀!不太值。

兩口子都是 T-Bone steak 迷,這次決定不花心多試其他款式,專一完成2人份的 US Black Angus "Reserve" T-Bone Steak 就好,後來果然沒有失望。麵包籃及牛油先上,其實那牛油很香又滑,就是麵包沒有暖意,還是留肚給豐富的配菜好了~

所有近骨肉類味道都較濃,這份 US Black Angus "Reserve" T-Bone Steak ($960) 果然也是肉香味濃,質感又柔嫩,配上 Cafe de Paris Butter / Bearnise / Black Pepper / Chimchurri / Red Wine sauce 醬均很美味,約廿安牛扒很快就給兩口子殲滅掉!

心裡甜甜滿滿的,口裡的蛋糕也清甜軟棉好好吃呢!大家吃過 Ritz Carlton 初開時樓下的 Pastry Gem 嗎?這綠茶栗子蛋糕就依稀有當年餅盒綠茶蛋糕的影子,輕柔香滑不過甜,綠茶與栗子味很匹配又能互相平衡,加上蜜糖雪糕,難怪會是招牌甜點,值得推介~

不知是我與牛有仇,或是我與牛有緣,當說起牛扒時,大家都會記得我,而小弟在instagram也特別加了一個tag ( #jamelsteak),從中可尋小弟是何等喜歡吃牛。正因如此,常常也想找到一些抵食又好味的地方,最近發現The Lounge & Bar有個相當抵食的牛扒優惠,只需$480就,可在如此高級的地方吃牛扒了。 餐牌上可見集合了世界各地的牛扒,分別有從美國而來的黑安格斯T骨牛扒、阿根廷牛柳、蘇格蘭鴨巴甸西冷、澳洲天然飼養肉眼及法國帶骨肉眼幾款,每款都有著不同的特性。 從眾多款牛扒之中,帶骨的牛扒是最為吸引我的,連著骨的位置絕對是牛扒中的極品,所以我只會在T骨牛扒及帶骨肉眼,前者是兩人份量,要與人分享,後者則可獨自享用,最後都是選擇了法國帶骨肉眼。 法國帶骨肉眼來來自夏洛來牛,肉質出眾,不過脂肪較少,令牛扒吃起來多帶一點嚼感。牛扒以鐵板送來,熱呼呼的,而且份量頗大,不過在厚度上就較為薄了一點,不知是不是切薄一點令咀嚼的時間少一點,但肉味卻非常濃郁,近脂肪的部份更是美味。如果嫌牛扒調味不足,亦有配上幾款醬汁,先下點香草牛油,再淋上少許紅酒汁,滋味即時提升。 友人

友人們則點了T骨牛扒,於我而言是最好的,她們的食量不多,我可以分一杯羹,感覺上切得厚身一點的牛扒,在質感上及肉香上都會勝一籌,雖然很厚身,但卻一點也不硬,肉味更是非常濃郁,當中會較為喜歡牛柳的位置,果然還是以美國安格斯牛扒最為出色。

如果大家覺得份量仍然不夠,還有無限量配菜任食,有凱撒沙律、忌廉菠菜、炸薯條、烤雜菌、烤蔬果、芝士通心粉及烤蕃茄仔七款,當中大家都對那盤炸薯條著迷,吃到停不了手,薯條放久了,香脆度依然,惹味又很香,絕對值得推介。

當大家都吃得不亦樂乎,小弟又發揮神經刀精神,殺他們一個措手不及,居然點了一客海南雞飯。當大家一起品嚐時,讚賞聲此起彼落,水準之高並不比其他地方遜色,雞肉做得入味又嫩滑,油飯油潤分明,有著香噴噴的香味,如果要挑骨頭來說,唯獨醬汁中的黑豉油太甜了,但整體上我會評以高水準。

仍然記得初學品酒時,就是以澳洲的Shiraz作起點,自始便愛上了帶spicy的辛勁,特別是用作配上扒類,就更加相得益彰,輕輕的搖晃一下,再呷一口,單寧中度,作為table wine,是恰如其分。

自己點了Bone in French Charolais Rib-eye,由於Side Dishes是另上,所以整塊扒的賣相都比較簡單,只用蘆筍墊底,Rib-eye要了medium rare,刻意打造成薄薄的一片,切起來相當方便順手,肉味不俗,中途偶爾來點Creamy Spinach或是Tomatoes,清清味蕾的感覺,三扒兩撥,整件Rib-eye便消失的無影無踪。

朋友反而愛上了T-Bone steak,雖然要花功夫share,但肉味是更濃郁,輕輕的灑點海鹽,吊出了肉質的鮮味,總比用sauce把肉味蓋過好。

朋友是海南雞飯的愛好者,忍不住另外單點了一份,說真的,雞肉嫩滑而富雞味,皮下脂肪經泡浸冰水後變成jelly狀,非常討好,而個人最欣賞是那碗小小的雞油飯,粒顆分明又飽滿,香味四溢,油光充分,就連雞湯都清澈鮮甜,水準極高。

自從幾年前在Piccolo一試便愛上的一道菜,意大利粉外層微脆的有al dente的口感,蒜香味澎湃而辣椒的辛勁是直衝咽喉,實在好吃到難以忘懷,更何況加入了蝦仁、帶子及海蜆?

雖然優惠並未包括飲品及甜品,但以一間六星級酒店而言,有著優美的環境,無敵的維港景致,晚上更有璀璨的夜景,而人均都不過$700左右,的確是一個上佳的Fine Dining地點。

回港後都沒有時間好好地同姊妹食餐飯,難得約齊人就去間好啲嘅餐廳食好西The Ritz-Carlton 的風景真係好靚以前經常係sky101食飯都唔覺有咁靚,從落地玻璃俯視香港夜景,淨係個景都值回票價今次就去102樓嘅The lounge & bar 食扒早排喺網上見到有牛扒set $480 per person 包括一份牛扒同無限添食嘅頭盤好抵呀咁我地5個女仔食得唔多嘢,就叫咗兩份T-bone ($960 for two) 無論係賣相定份量都好高質見到都流哂口水牛扒嗌咗medium rare,啱啱好,唔會血淋淋亦唔會好難咬不足之處係張櫈同枱嘅高度比例好怪,鋸扒鋸得好辛苦小食都ok,salad 同 garlic fries 好正不過都係西餐廳嘅基本嘢食肉梗係配紅酒我地就咗枝普通紅酒呢個景加呢種食物質素,絕對會再去

以前經常係sky101食飯都唔覺有咁靚,從落地玻璃俯視香港夜景,淨係個景都值回票價

今次就去102樓嘅The lounge & bar 食扒
早排喺網上見到有牛扒set $480 per person 包括一份牛扒同無限添食嘅頭盤
好抵呀

牛扒嗌咗medium rare,啱啱好,唔會血淋淋亦唔會好難咬

不足之處係張櫈同枱嘅高度比例好怪,鋸扒鋸得好辛苦


小食都ok,salad 同 garlic fries 好正
不過都係西餐廳嘅基本嘢


食肉梗係配紅酒

我的 Argentinian Tenderloin也要了 medium rare,出來的效果頗合我心意。牛柳油脂含量較少,是整隻牛中運動量最少的肌肉,以鮮嫩見稱,向來都是我鍾情於的部位。 牛柳最可口的程度是三成熟,這樣才能發揮其幼嫩多汁的特色。Argentina 牛偏向肉味濃,亦瀰保了牛柳肉味不夠濃這個小小缺陷。

我的朱古力蛋糕是非常heavy的那一種,口感綿密,此時此刻,我立刻想起我的朱古力迷朋友E 小姐。這件蛋糕可可味濃郁,對我來說有點太 heavy,我個人偏好比較輕盈的口感與口味,不過如果E小姐在場的話,她一定會超愛這件蛋糕的。

Overall, I like their unobtrusive yet attentive and pleasant service. The view, the table top, and the food are top-notch. I particularly like that they've changed the venue from floor 103 to 102 this time where the setting is more cozy, the ambience more laid back with live piano, and the view heavenly especially on a foggy day.

第一件是用上1926年Lady Noir的黑白朱古力撻,在香濃的朱古力蛋糕上有白朱古力及黑朱古力奶油。第二件是1939年Signature Lait的朱古力咖啡甜點杯,層次十足,有蛋糕,有忌廉,也有果凍。還有至愛的榛果牛奶朱古力達克瓦茲蛋糕,用上的是1959Noblesse,鬆軟中帶香脆,好味好味。

On a day that I decided to visit Ritz Carlton Café 103, specifically seeking to try their Matcha Afternoon Tea, unfortunately upon our arrival we were informed that the afternoon tea session for the day was coming to a close (I should have done my homework on finding out the operating hours...!).
  We were suggested to try the English Afternoon Tea one floor down instead, which was been served for an additional hour or so at The Lounge & Bar. With no better ideas that come to mind, we comfortably rode the escalators down.

Having visited The Lounge & Bar several times before for lunches and drinks, I am quite familiar with the high-rise sea-view showcase as well as the ambience full of energy that never disappoints.

The English Afternoon Tea (set for two) was presented as 3-tier modern, contemporary. Savories and finger sandwiches placed at the top, with macarons and sweets in the middle tier, whilst the traditionally main attraction scones were found at the bottom. In terms of tea, Ritz has partnered with TWG, and there was a decent number of choices.

I would say, a picture speaks louder than words, so you can make your own visual judgment. Savory section was my favourite out of these three tiers, whilst I found the scones, served with cream butter and jam, a bit dry. Unfortunately, the Macarons and Canele also did not appeal, as I found both to be “soggy”.

Despite the lacklustre items from the afternoon tea set menu, it was overall still a rather enjoyable afternoon session. If you are looking to relax and lay-back in a luxurious 5-star environment, overlooking a tremendous view, and to be attended to by professional service, then Ritz is a safe choice. However, if you have high demand on the quality of tea and snack items, then I suggest for you to save your breath for your next trip to London!

Scone真的鬆軟有度,又可以隨意塗上意大利芝士忌廉或紅莓玫瑰果醬 ,已經相當吸引,更何況今次加入了Egerie Noir, 2016的味道,令口感更加豐富。
