星期五一時,等了五分鐘便可入座,還在窗旁,真是滿意。好:主動的服務。食到最後,白果豬肚湯涼了,部長主動提議到廚房煲熱。可以更好:(1) 大哥叉燒豉油皇炒麵用的是切絲的叉燒,蓋滿了一整碟。叉燒雖然多,可是切絲的滿足感與例牌叉燒厚切那有肥有瘦有汁有香味的感覺實在差得遠,覺得切絲真的是浪費了。(2) 油菜,這麽簡單的一道菜,成敗就在食材的新鮮和豉油的功力。菜心雖不老,但吃不出甜味。豉油則很鹹,調味重手得很。(3) 牛肉球,菜牌強調是用100%純牛肉做的,除了體積大以外,可又食不出驚喜。整個的感覺是老牌酒樓,大大份,一定飽。

星期六和男友來到西苑飲茶,環境自然是不錯,因為在利園商場裡,所以人不算太多。不用預約亦立即有位。港式點心說實話千篇一律,但西苑的算是樣樣精品,這一餐我們點了鮑汁鳳爪,粉果,蝦餃,馬拉糕,糯米雞,蟹籽大蝦燒麥,叉燒包,因為太愛馬拉糕所以還加點了一份。味道每份都很不錯,叉燒包略偏甜,糯米雞料非常足。另外,服務也是不錯,比起很多茶樓算是熱情尊敬很多。這一餐花掉482元。

腸粉類,叫咗牛腸、炸兩。先講牛腸,唔知佢係咪都係用100%純牛肉啦,同牛肉球個味差唔多,腸粉都算滑,但就無乜驚喜。

至於炸兩,唔知大家鍾意點樣嘅油炸鬼,要脆口定稔身,lahris仲好young,當然prefer佢脆身,但事與願違囉,稔哂,真係有點失望。

自從他試過我上次外賣的太古城西苑的叉燒後就瘋狂愛上了。瘋狂的程度就是, 我們其實今晚是先到了上環西苑, 坐下開了茶後他們說叉燒賣光了, 失望的我們二話不說起身轉場, 搭的士趕來銅鑼灣西苑, 途中我打電話確定他們的叉燒未賣光..來到坐下即點叉燒, 上桌賣相吸引, "立立令"的的醬汁, 十分惹味。叉燒的吸引之處在於肥瘦適中, 不"鞋"不韌, 最合伴飯, 試過就會愛上。奇怪是每一間西苑的菜式有一點不同, 價錢都不同, 以叉燒計, 太古城的最便宜。這個蛋白炒蟹肉, 與賽螃蟹相似, 味道頗淡, 健康之選。最後的中式牛柳催了幾次才來到..味道不俗, 醬汁味較濃。銅鑼灣新店的菜式不算便宜, 如果只為叉燒而來, 還是太古城比較化算。

Friday night dinner at West Villa on the 5th level of Lee Gardens.  Why have I not discovered this place before?  The barbecue pork, which was a house specialty, was really succulent -- soft and juicy unlike in other roast meat places where the char siew can be too tough and chewy.  This was just melt-in-your-mouth good.  I want to come back for brunch and try their dimsum next time I'm in Hong Kong!  The service was also professional,  efficient and helpful, despite the full house and despite t

So popular that they had to move and remodel and take over the entire 5th floor of Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay. 進入正餐入席, 中餐總少不了這乳豬全體, 可是餐廳採用的是近年廣東地帶的酒家都會做的堂剪乳豬。用上特別細小的奶豬, 以廣東式燒味方法醃製及燒烤, 再在堂前用大利剪順紋剪開。由於只是奶豬階段, 豬肉肉軟嫩口而脂肪多, 油份高但不俗氣。加上廣東式的脆皮燒烤, 皮的部分就算沒有太多小孔, 依然能順行的鬆化起來。然而肉嫩而皮肉比例偏薄, 雖沒有啖啖肉的厚重感覺, 但是骨細入味, 軟骨也能下嚥, 用之佐酒, 一流!!

廣東人飲湯屠性一般都在用餐的前段, 所以飲宴來說, 湯羹絕不會缺, 而且一般都是緊接紅噹噹燒味, 取完意頭便即來。這次, 朋友安排的是一個火瞳雞燉鮑翅。用上一隻大肘子加上一隻雞慢火燉成, 翅身粗鐧而有彈性, 條條紋理分明而晶瑩, 一梳梳有致。高湯鮮味而帶鹹香, 加入肘子味道更濃。肘子皮下脂肪極多, 鹹香之餘更有油膩, 但正好與高湯配合。用上筷子夾雜翅鐧, 雞絲, 火腿與高湯, 一口油膩而滯口, 但孜是無限香濃的味道。

廣東菜離不開一個"鮮"字, 肘子雞湯有鮮, 之後再來這個松露醬炒阿拉斯加蟹柳, 又是一路鮮味。松露醬經由鑊中熱力炒過收乾, 當中鮮香更為集中, 而且緊緊依附在阿拉斯加蟹棒之中。雖這蟹棒只是雪藏的用料, 但是卻仍保留不錯的肉質彈性, 入口有點可口。松露醬味道香濃, 加上其他豆角京蔥同炒, 但依然搶不了蟹棒的可口與生動的肉質。再者, 茨汁亦做得入味, 不會過鹹, 令人有種回味的效果。

原條關東遼參, 餐廳用上紅燒方法, 以汁扣海參。紅燒茨汁有鹹香, 但不算太過稠而鹹, 但又不稀如水, 有種掛黏的力量而不漿口。遼參一枝枝細刺起伏, 一刀切下是有軟淋的感覺, 但是入口外層軟稔, 但內在有彈性嚼勁。加多一點茨汁, 味道更為吸引, 然而口中質感又是另一取悅人的優點。這些不經意, 不韌的彈性完全反映出其用料與泡浸功夫, 感覺十分好!

吃這個當紅炸子雞之前, 其實還來了一味清蒸大紅東星斑。可是一來未能找緊時間拍張大魚全照; 二來好酒的人們已被席間頂級的葡萄酒所吸引, 漸漸已迎來了這些Ch. Latour, Corton Grand Cru等一級紅酒, 所以不想以魚相配; 三來, 斑魚味淡, 魚味不會比其他魚特別, 所以基本上只談肉質。可是肉質就是基於灸料質數 (即是錢), 其他就只有時間控制而已, 所以難有之特吃的情況。

反而炸子雞的變數較大, 因眾所周知酒樓宴席雞料難用鮮雞, 故此怎樣從雪雞中做出好效果才是更難得。可是這餐廳的炸子雞只可算是一般而已, 雞皮故然做得薄而脆, 可是肉質偏嚡, 鹹度有些不均。厚肉而味淡, 薄位則過鹹, 而且脂肪比例不多, 難有甘香與滑不溜口的感覺。

生日時間總要來個"長壽麵"吧! 一個上湯水餃伊麵來作個煮食結尾。伊麵不知是否放得久了, 麵條有點過淋, 但依然有點點韌度彈性。上湯不如之前的高湯香味, 整體縑太淡, 水餃亦不算可口, 只可算是很一般。

黃金煎堆, 其實已近乎全神專注在杯中的美酒之中。甜品?! 也都變了很其次! 這是我等酒鬼的心聲。不過還稍稍記得酒後吃煎堆的芝麻香味和惹味, 而且煎堆質感煙韌而不黏牙, 感覺可以吧!

而至於蟠桃壽包這個甜品, 老實說, 印象已沒多少, 所以還是不作評論較好吧!

整體來說, 餐廳的食物水平都是十分不錯。然而朋友亦是難得的一個好日子, 更開過多支的頂級好酒, 的確又是一個開心無比的晚上。唯一覺得仍是遺憾是朋友備來的酒太多, 過於盛情, 但因太多而有些酒還沒有開, 也因此少了個品嘗的機會, 相信也是下一次吧!

大哥叉燒-並沒期望的好吃, 外層調味OK, 內裏豬肉味保留, 不會被調味掩蓋。但因為個人口味傾向食肥叉燒, 偏偏這裏的叉燒是瘦的, 冇相連肥膏, 雖然肉質不會鞋口, 但滿足不了本人對肥美叉燒的期望燒腩仔-還可以, 皮燒得香脆鬆化和牛炒飯-千萬不要點, 任和牛多麼的上等, 這碟飯價值一百多元, 那些和牛卻像肉碎一般, 與蔥粒蘿蔔粒蛋粒混在一起, 根本完全食吾出係和牛定係普通本地牛肉....沒意義可言以他們的收費, 似乎我的期望太高了, 也沒想要再來....

马克这家老牌粤菜很久了。替老爸在港过生日提前订了台。恰逢老爸生日今年撞上重阳节公众假期,提前了几天也只订到午市的第二轮1点半。 之前路过几次都见识了这家店的火爆(也因为为此一直没吃上),战战兢兢的准时抵达,门口已经不少人都是订了第二轮的,心感不妙。好在帮爸妈找了位子坐下等,偶就焦急的守住前台等桌子。一些没定位的客人过来拿号,前台小姐很直接的叮嘱三点才会有台。生意火爆的恐怖!等了差不多半小时,终于前台叫到说有桌子了,带到包房改成的偏厅门口的过道,说正在说桌子前台就走开了,等了几分钟毫无动静,而且过道人来人往不宜久留,我遍捉住服务员询问才知道原来客人只是买了单还没吃甜品。顿时搞的偶火冒三丈,好歹也算高级餐厅,这种不靠谱的带位还是第一次碰到,关键还是老爸生日的场合,让偶情意何堪。先向服务员投诉无果,偶一个人冲到前台质问,就差没找经理了。前台自知理亏,赶忙赔不是,在偶的坚持下终于另找了一张偏厅的桌子给偶们,才得以就座,老爸已经明显不悦,抱怨说这不是花钱买罪受。还在利园的新店环境还不错,偏厅也比较安静,加上服务员也不时过来向每桌客人赔不是(很多还是熟客)说假日特殊壮况,看来受气的也不止偶们一家,

大哥叉烧:生意火爆到连套餐的叉烧也卖完了改成牛展,味道倒是也不错。幸好偶订位时留了一份叉烧,才不致错过。这里的叉烧用的是上等的梅头肉,肉质鲜嫩,真的有入口即化的口感,而且锁上了满满的浓郁肉质,绝对是肉食动物的天物,偶觉得能够排到香港叉烧的三甲!
爵士汤:说不出的清甜口感,汤料另上有很多螺头鸡脚瘦肉,而汤里有大块的花胶,的确是上乘的煲汤!
香煎海班,很新鲜的海班,煎的恰到好处,一点不油腻。
生抽局大虾:用的是上等的大个新鲜海虾,肉质鲜嫩,连皮都局得很脆,虾头里还有满满的虾膏,满口的香味。
鲍鱼汁捞面:味道浓郁,里面的芽菜都特别鲜嫩。
桂花杞子羔:很清爽的口感
红豆沙:传统口味,很浓郁有陈皮口味。由于老妈不爱喝汤,偶们点了两位套餐(其实除了虾只有两只,其他菜量三个人吃都绰绰有余),另外有加了两款点心:
(也是订位时留了一份),酥皮很足,杏汁味道浓郁,
叉烧包,皮有点甜,叉烧浓郁。总体菜式还是相当令人满意的建议避开午市特别是节假日周末来吃!
