I went for lunch and ordered a set lunch deal-I had the sirloin and my friend had the ribeye.The starters were decent-sea bass cerviche and the caesar salad and the sides that came with the mains tasty-the creamed corn and the fries.The steaks however were very underwhelming.The sirloin was cold,dry and chewy and the ribeye not much better. Perhaps they were grass fed cows and so I would expect a bit of a different texture and experience but the sirloin in particular seemed like it was cooked ba

I went for lunch and ordered a set lunch deal-I had the sirloin and my friend had the ribeye.

The steaks however were very underwhelming.
The sirloin was cold,dry and chewy and the ribeye not much better. Perhaps they were grass fed cows and so I would expect a bit of a different 
texture and experience but the sirloin in particular seemed like it was cooked badly and definitely it was not medium when I got it but medium rare 
and not juicy or flavoursome at all.
All in all very disappointing and I won't return as it was not good value considering I had to leave half of my steak.

Medium 烤得恰到好處,切開香脆外層,內裡顏色緋紅。

三種牛扒,味道各有不同。Rump Steak (後腿)脂肪較厚,吃起來較香。Fillet (里脊),即是Tenderloin, 軟嫩多汁。Skirt (側膜横肌)這部位較刁鑽,聞説每隻牛只有大約ㄧ公斤多,十分矜貴! 三種肉質,最喜歡Skirt, 非常腍滑,入口融化,超贊!

Salsa 是以蕃茄、洋葱、辣椒做的辣醬汁, 也是ㄧ種南美舞蹈的名稱,音樂節拍強勁,熱情奔放! 醬如其名,也令人愉快興奮,又帶點刺激! 六款Salsa 中,最喜歡綠色的 Chimichurri (阿根廷青醬), 因鍾情當中的香草味,尤其歐芹 (Parsley) 是我至愛,還有Oregano (牛至)、加上蒜和醋等,香、酸和激令舌尖興奮又不會太辣,難怪在阿根廷是家家常備的醬料!

話說咁岩約左個朋友要係上環附近食飯上網見到好多人話呢間既牛扒十分好食所以先用openrice book 佢個dinner 試試環境唔錯 果日人又唔多咁我就叫左set dinner一開始前菜 個焗 cheese 好正 到主菜 牛扒 14oz medium 熟度正到不得了 同埋佢地有牧飼牛扒啖啖肉汁 鐘意牛扒既你一定要試試有好多唔同既將醬汁比你揀我地仲開左枝紅酒飲去配返塊牛扒最後甜品整體價錢唔貴不過大家去之前記得booking因為佢地位唔多

是日在中環辦事後 突然牛癮發作想起前陣子聽友人介紹過的Tango 便前往一試Tango位置不難找 就在吃什麼的旁邊(還誤會了人龍是排隊坐升降機 原來都是在輪候吃什麼😳)點了 Gaucho Steak SetAppetizer 選了mix ceviche 魚肉蠻多的 tiger milk弄得不錯在國外吃很多時候都是配fried corn這裡的粟米沒炸過 硬硬的炸地瓜片是個驚喜 不錯吃餐包是烘熱後才送上可配桌上的olive oil吃 也可問店員拿vinegar選了sirloin medium rare很喜歡這裡會把很多不同的sauce都給客人 筆者還是最喜歡classic的cream sauce牛味不算很重(可能前一天吃了和牛 有對比但弄得不錯 烤架紋都很美中不足是牛扒前半段 鹽巴有點多 後半段則剛好可能是最後seasoning的時候 撒鹽有點不均 🤔-店員都很nice (這是都是以英語溝通)也會跟客人chitcheat 看看食物如何另外想一讚的是 店員雖會關注客人所需 例如加水 提供napkins但不會一直注視藉客人 讓人感到壓力之前曾到某高級餐廳 那麼的店員一直盯藉客人 雖然是努力工作

這裡的粟米沒炸過 硬硬的
炸地瓜片是個驚喜 不錯吃

選了sirloin medium rare
很喜歡這裡會把很多不同的sauce都給客人
筆者還是最喜歡classic的cream sauce

牛味不算很重(可能前一天吃了和牛 有對比

但弄得不錯 烤架紋都很

美中不足是牛扒前半段 鹽巴有點多 後半段則剛好
可能是最後seasoning的時候 撒鹽有點不均 🤔

店員都很nice (這是都是以英語溝通)
也會跟客人chitcheat 看看食物如何
另外想一讚的是 店員雖會關注客人所需 例如加水 提供napkins
但不會一直注視藉客人 讓人感到壓力

Having said that, the Argentinian steaks were packed with flavors.

I ordered medium rare and what I got was almost well done. Not acceptable!! Did not send it back to the kitchen cos I didn’t want to waste food. I told the manager about it and asked him to remind his chefs. The steaks will continue to cook while traveling from kitchen to dining room and sitting on a hot sizzling plate.

Side dishes were above average.

Ambience and service were average.

The food is super tasty and the meat quality is over the top. Unique kitchen in Hk for bbq.Really feels like being in Argentina.The lunch set is perfect value for money.Dinner atmosphere is lovely.Very good selection of wines and sommelier Andres gives fantastic suggestions!All the Tango team is always available and helpful.The Argentinian music background playlist is unique

Since we already planned to have steak later, let's open a bottle of red first! This one is Argentinian wine, with a smell of black fruits and some spice, medium tannins, pretty smooth and elegant!
反正今天晚上必定會點牛扒,先開瓶紅酒吧!這瓶是阿根廷地道紅酒,聞起來有果香及某些香料味,入口頗順滑,相信與紅肉應該很配!

After we've ordered our appetiser, they served us with this lovely bread, it's toasted with crunchy crust, they also serve very good quality olive oil!
點了頭盤後,侍應奉上熱烘烘的麵包,外脆內軟,配上優質橄欖油,實在很好吃!

Tasting of Three: Octopus, Tuna, Shrimp & Scallop 
These 3 ceviche dishes caught my eyes when I first read the menu. They were served with a plate of sweet potato tortilla, starting with the closest dish, which is tuna with avocado, red onion and some sesame seeds, the flavour is mild and nice, quite good to be a starter; middle one is shrimp and scallop with jalapeno dressing and sesame seeds, I love the spicy taste which is really good with the tortilla, however the shrimp and scallop were just normal and nothing special; the last one is octopus with cherry tomato and roasted yellow pepper, this is the best among the three! Octopus has a very amazing texture with nice flavour, of course it also goes well with tortilla as well!
這三款ceviche早已吸引了我的目光,決定一次過試吧!奉上時跟了紫蕃薯tortilla~ 最近的那碟是吞拿魚配牛油果及芝麻,味道溫和,吞拿魚新鮮,肉質不錯;中間那碟是蝦及帶子配以jalapeno汁醬及芝麻,jalapeno的辣實在很獨特及美味,可惜蝦及帶子沒有甚麼特別,幸好辣辣的汁醬與tortilla是絕配; 最後是章魚配小蕃茄及燒黃椒,章魚的肉質鮮美而且嫩口,很有驚喜!醬汁與Salsa 近似,當然與tortilla也很配~

My friend is very enthusiastic in trying this Argentinian blood sausage, I searched online and we still have no idea what that is except it's made from animal blood like duck or pork, etc. So we were like.. why not? Let's give it a try! When it was served, I was pretty shocked by it's egg-plant look XD When I cut it, it felt so gooey... Doesn't taste like blood as expected, and doesn't expect it's super sticky which even sticks on my teeth lol~ Definitely not my cup of tea haha~
好友很想試試阿根廷的血腸,上網做完資料搜集後,除了知道是由動物如鴨/豬的血造以外,完全沒頭緒~ 我們決定來試一試!很驚訝血腸外型與茄子很相似呢!切開時發現原來很黏膩,入口沒有想像中血腥味道,但亦沒想像到原來是如此黏膩。。。還黏在我的牙齒上哈哈。。。絕對不是我杯茶~

T-bone for 2 (35oz/1000g) medium rare
I was worrying if this will be too much for us, but when it arrives, it looks amazing and the smell was so nice! Can't wait and give it a try, it's well reseted with perfect medium rare, I love the charcoal taste which caramelised in a very nice way! And of course it tasted so nice that we both finished all haha! The only issue for us is that there is too much salt which we already asked for less when we ordered!
原本有點擔心份量會否太多,但當侍應奉上時,聞起來已經很吸引!忍不住馬上試一口,沒有血水,完美的medium rare,還有那濃香的炭燒味,讓牛扒的表面caramelise,吃起來更有有層次!由於實在太美味,我們最終也能吃光,唯一可惜的是太多鹽,雖然於點餐時已說明要少鹽,但對我們來說依然是很咸呢!

Cooked with bacon and some herbs, didn't expect both sprouts and bacon were both perfect cooked! Even the bacon is of high quality! 
與煙肉及香草一起煮,沒想到椰菜及煙肉勻煮得恰到好處!煙肉的質素也很高呢!

After these we just can't have any more food, and we ordered one of the recommended port wine, it's not too sweet but it's not as nice as I expected, I miss the port wine that I had when I was in Emerald Queensland... But overall this is a very nice place for steak and the service is nice as well. 
實在已經太飽,決定只點波特酒來成為此餐的終結。入口不太甜,但沒有期待的香味。。。很掛念於澳洲喝到的波特酒。。。總括來說這裡的確是一個吃牛扒的好地方,服務也很好~

I very rarely write reviews on restaurants but I had the worst experience ever at Tango Argentinian Steak House tonight and I just have to share it. We ordered a large rib eye steak for two tonight ($1098) and asked for it to be cooked medium. When the steak came, we didn’t eat it immediately (since there were other food on the table to be finished) and perhaps waited 5 mins before digging into it. The steak was actually cooked medium well (the ends were totally well done) and very chewy w lots

I very rarely write reviews on restaurants but I had the worst experience ever at Tango Argentinian Steak House tonight and I just have to share it.
We ordered a large rib eye steak for two tonight ($1098) and asked for it to be cooked medium. When the steak came, we didn’t eat it immediately (since there were other food on the table to be finished) and perhaps waited 5 mins before digging into it. The steak was actually cooked medium well (the ends were totally well done) and very chewy w lots of tendon. It actually felt like a low quality piece of sirloin. We told the manager that the steak was medium well instead of medium and that the quality was sub-par. He ARGUED and said the steak was cooked medium per our order and that the meat was very tender. He pointed to the bone and said the steak was served medium but just that we left it on the table for too long and the serving plate (which was hot) cooked the meat further. One, I don’t care if the bone is cooked medium or even raw; I am eating the meat, not the bone. Two, don’t serve it on a hot plate if u know the plate will cooked the meat further. Three, we weren’t being unreasonable; he could see the meat was cooked to medium well. We told him to cancel our order but he rejected in our face and told us they don’t cancel order just because clients don’t like the way the meat was cooked, and that the meat was cooked to our request when it was served and it was our fault that we didn’t eat it immediately. He said he can pack the meat for us to take away but he will not cancel just because we didn’t like the way the steak was cooked. He didn’t offer us another dish or free desserts or any other options. So basically, we paid $1000+ for two bites of low quality meat. If he could have offered us another dish or something, I would have leave it at that but he didn’t and this is totally unsatisfactory customer service. I am not saying customer is always right but he is totally wrong. We will never go back again and will definitely discourage others to go. 我老公係阿根廷華僑,佢對家鄉菜得懷念,就去試呢間餐廳!一試,老公一填思鄉的情懷。我地叫左,牛扒,牛夠嫩!牛肉腸,同阿根廷食既味道一樣!牛血腸!老公最愛!更大讚好吃!沙律,味道剛剛好!仲有,佢地既麵包都一流!好好味呀!!!老公大讚好味!會再黎食!

Sick from noodles we were eager to get a great bite of meat. Looking out for a great stakehouse but for once not an American chain. We stopped over Tango, Argentina Steaks 😁 that what we aimed for today. A place you don’t see if you look at ground floor places to walk in, but not as far from the lifely Lang Kwai Fong than other places. Excellent ambience, you feel like you escape the busy city and dive into the southern sphere of noise and hospitality. As expected, there is no rush in this place

Excellent ambience, you feel like you escape the busy city and dive into the southern sphere of noise and hospitality. As expected, there is no rush in this place in terms of service, take your time ans enjoy is here the motto. Friendliness of stuff was excellent, the menu simple but to the point. Our order, 1kg Tomahawk and a 450gr (16 Oz) sirloine stake, some garlic fries and happy veggies on the side. See the pics for yourself, amazing meat, cooked with perfection. Fries excellent, the veggies, I am sorry, were lousy cooked if they actually saw more than a minute in a frying pan. But anyway, we were there because of the meat! Taste excellent, portions to die for. We had dessert... wow a must try if you can still eat post the main course. We were satisfied, ready to off into the night. I highly recommend this place if you are in for a great stake. Check out their wines, they have an amazing selection of wines that you don’t get elsewhere.

I regularly dine at this restaurant with family and friends. Above average steaks at good value, great ambiance (like the rustic setting), wine can be on expensive side if want something decent (range hkd70-388 per glass! ).Service is efficient.Overall great place to go for an easy night out around LKF!

午餐食扒確實好豐富又開心,身心也得到釋放。我選擇了套餐: starter 我點了魷魚沙津,這個超級正!令你吃一口便追住要再吃,main course 我選了rib eye medium rare, 上來一大塊已經心心眼,肉質確是彈牙又多汁,不會血淋淋的那種,而是會令你吃一口便要合上眼心呼吸享受呢種!環境更不用説,因為會令你hea足一個下午。

經過成個星期忙碌工作,週末一定要出街食飯輕鬆一下。原本㨂左幾間餐廳,男朋友突然話想食牛扒,佢話佢朋友去過中環嘅阿根廷扒房Tango很不錯,於是我地今晚就去試下呢間餐廳。餐廳環境很有特色,用上左磚紅色磚設計同掛了好多Tango 舞蹈嘅掛畫未點菜已經送上新鮮焗的麵包。麵包非常鬆軟,再配點橄欖油,好吃!不能吃太多麵包要留肚吃牛扒!男朋友對牛扒要求很高,店員介紹不同部份應該用什麼烹調方法最好味,最後挑了一件肉眼扒和西冷牛扒五成熟,會以芝加哥烹調法。另外,點了一份蒜味薯條及一份忌廉粟米做配菜。肉眼扒和西冷牛扒:五成熟剛剛好!外面焦香內𥚃粉紅肉嫩多汁。不錯👍🏻男朋友喜歡肉眼扒而却我比較喜歡西冷牛扒。至於蒜味薯條香脆可口!忌廉粟米混合了青椒和忌廉一起烹煮,味道非常好吃!價錢不貴又好味道!下次會再來食飯!

Tango comes first in mind when I’m looking for great steak and ambience. It just feels so comfortable, like you’re stepping in a friend’s home. Their empanadas are amazing, steak makes me drool and I have no words for the creamed corn. Wine is also reasonably priced considering they are in heart of soho! Service was attentive, with compliments to Queenie and Andres for their kind hospitality. Would highly recommend to others who want to explore the Argentinian cuisine.
