Came here on a Monday night after work. Knowing it is opened by Daniel Wu, we were quite excited and was wondering if we would meet him tonight (well, apparently he comes here quite often)As the lift opened it doors, we were welcomed by this gigantic shelf of whiskey - a very ig-able wall. Then, as we enter there is another locked shelf of whiskey which was equally interesting (and ig-able). Apparently customers are offered to play this game of finding the right key out of 38 keys to open to this whisky shelf. So we tried the game and my friend was lucky enough to choose the right key which granted us the access to this secretive area AND two shots of sake. Definitely recommend this game for whoever visit here!! As we entered the area, the staff was kind and helpful enough to introduce the whisky they have. Other than this huge collection of limited edition Macallan, there were also a great selection of Japanese whisky and what really impresses me is they have this 'ladies' whisky' section for ... well.. ladies! That was quite thoughtful of them! So customers were allowed to choose their whiskey from their grant selection. I am sure whisky lover would really love that.
Knowing they have a great selection of food, I was quite excited to try them out. So we ordered some mains and some snacks. With the main, we knew that the old-fashioned bourbon burger was highly recommended and the 'kani miso' crab udon looks extremely attractive. So we had those two together with the equally famous salted egg chicken crackling (they made them from scratch - from peeling the skin from a chicken and cutting off the fat clinging on the skin to frying it) as well as the unagi avocado roll and a grilled oyster.

So the food came pretty soon. So with the udon, we were supposed to pour the sake into the udon and while the udon was still hot, dipped it into the quail egg yolk and mix it with the crab paste. I really love how fresh and rich in flavour the crab paste is. When mixed with the hint taste of sake, it neutralizes the possible heaviness of the crab paste. It was really quite an interesting interplay of flavours!

Where as the bourbon burger was also quite an flavourful blend of alcohol and the patty. The crunchiness of the burger itself was matches quite well beef patty. I especially like the cherry sauce and infused orange that adds a bit of sweetness to the meaty burger.
The chicken crackle is also something I highly recommend! It goes so well with beer and it was so crunchy and surprisingly not greasy at all! The salty egg powder was also a delicious flavour to add to the snack.

As we were almost finishing our food, we found out that they are now offering an all-you-can-eat skewer promotion for just an addition of 98HKD on top of any mains or cocktails. So we ordered a set of everything. There were really a wide variety of skewers to choose from. I particularly like the corn-battered fish cake and the mini black truffle potato cake. Those are something that you don't get everywhere! The skewers were perfectly grilled, nothing was too dry nor too strong in flavour. I also like how they season the skewers slightly spicy, making everything taste VERY satisfying for a night-snacks.

All in all, I really LOVE the food choices here and all the fun games they offer to the customers. I do think they excel in both their food and drinks. Definitely going to come here again, (not only trying to try meeting Daniel) but really like to try all their food and drinks! Highly recommended!
