今天是肥柑子的生日,柑太她帶我去了黃埔慶祝,一試王家沙花樣年華的美食。店內的裝潢很吸引視線,坐位舒適,令人放鬆。店員細心一直有留意食客的需要,不時添茶及即時應對客人查詢,非常專業。今餐完由柑太拍板,當然我也有提出意見小籠包大大隻,入口即被多汁鮮甜的肉汁包圍,肉質肥瘦適中,非常惹味。醬鴨上菜時外觀有點像烤鴨,而入口時發覺味道不算太濃,肉帶油香,味道濃厚,有點像臘鴨,但卻沒有過重的油膩,而且無論肉質味道和口感也更嫩滑炸鱔一道很出色的前菜,入口香脆,完全沒有吃鱔的感覺,反而有點像蝦條,未帶半點魚鱔,取而代之是好像是炸魚鬆一般的口感和味道。外層香脆可口,內裡細味時可以品嚐到絲絲的鱔肉,令人覺得像吃鳳尾魚一般。咸肉津白菜的口感很好,沒有渣或要大力咬開的情況,咸肉風味十足,而食落油香四溢。炒飯不油膩,入口乾爽,雞肉和咸肉的配搭令味道清淡中帶出濃郁的味道燻蛋蛋香、味重,入口先輕後回甘,蛋白部份清新,蛋黃部份則有濃郁的蛋味,而且過了一段時間仍在口中不散。醬麵入口不俗,可惜是醬汁較少。芝麻紅豆餅外層香脆惹味,內裡紅豆甜而不膩。

嫩雞煨麵~~ 這個湯麵平時係別的地方都很喜歡點的,  今次餐牌也有, 點它試試有沒有驚喜........登登登登, 結果沒有, 雖然味都OK, 但比起前兩味菜的確比下去, 變得平凡一碗濃湯麵..............

I was excited about the opening of this Shanghainese restaurant near my place. My impression about it was: acceptable food, good service and nice environment. But my today’s experience here very unpleasant. I waited for more than 30 minutes just for a bowl of Dan Dan Noodle during a not even rush hour. And the quality of the noodle is completely not worth the waiting. The waitress is not very helping. Anyway, I don’t think I would go there again.

飯後甜品自然亦不能少,選了這客京式甜點高力豆沙球 ($56)。豆沙球呈金黃色,外形圓渾,面頭撒滿砂糖,賣相誘人。咬開試試,蛋白入口柔如棉花,細意咀嚼還有輕微的彈性,中間豆沙餡分量雖然不多,但食落甜得來又不涸喉,更沒滲出半滴油,令人吃不停口。

整體來說,這晚所點的幾款菜式,味道都唔錯,價錢合理,服務到位,難怪臨走前見餐廳已經幾乎坐滿客。

I love this branch of Wang Jia Sha because the decor has a touch of vintage Chinese romanticism from the past.Went there for lunch so had the noodles.I had the Sichuan dan dan noodles which came in a lovely strong broth, the spiciness was just right for me and the minced meat and pickles gave the noodles more flavour.The beef noodles were lighter compared to the Sichuan dan dan noodles but the beef was lovely and soft.The Shanghai dumplings are a must order, each one was bursting with rich meat
