點好餐後,侍應手拿一大方籃麵包走過嚟,無細望,印象中應該有5款,全係歐陸麵包,其實心裡就想試晒,不過如果係咁就食包飽,唔使再食其他嘢喇,之但係我都揀咗其中3款:核桃、芝麻幼麥同罌粟籽,三款質感都好唔同,核桃最粗嚡,但麥味較香;芝麻幼麥質感就細緻啲,麵包皮就煙韌啲;而罌粟籽包身柔軟,其實啲罌粟籽本身無乜味,只係令個包有趣啲同有脆啲!

餐湯

晚餐餐湯係指定嘅Minestrone,即係意大利雜菜湯,材料幾豐富,有甘筍、洋蔥 、西芹…等,色澤深紅,味道濃郁,絕對真材實料。
散叫嘅有馬鈴薯湯伴德式麵包粒 $58,屬忌廉湯一種,湯裡放有麵包粒,而湯打得好幼滑,最重要係勁重薯仔味,湯不可貌相,的確唔錯。
仲有一個散叫湯,白菌忌廉湯 $58,個名超普通,但唔好攞茶餐廳嘅白湯嚟同佢比,蚊脾牛脾無得比,除咗見到成個湯都係碎粒粒嘅磨菇外,個湯嘅磨菇味一樣咁濃,咁先叫得上白菌湯。茶餐廳嗰啲係雞湯加「麵撈」,再放幾片磨菇,係白菌 + 忌廉湯啫!

芝士腸共兩條,每條約五至六吋長,墊有酸椰菜,伴一大份薯蓉,德國豪邁不羈型格,唔會話將啲薯蓉唧靚啲上碟,就咁一Pat就係一Pat。芝士腸煎得香脆,切開確有幾多芝士流出嚟,可以伴芥末食;薯蓉我哋分開四份後,每份都依然唔少,唔係得一啖半啖咁,薯蓉做得幾滑,帶少少牛油香味。

香煎三文魚柳配橄欖油醋汁伴扁意粉及炒什菜

三文魚約比一隻手掌大啲,做法簡單,煎香後伴上橄欖同油醋汁,而扁意粉以橄欖油同香草輕炒過,再加啲炒甘筍、翠玉瓜同邊豆。三文魚都算油潤甘香,扁意粉亦煮得啱啱好,屬不錯之作!

德國鹹豬手伴酸椰菜薯仔

鹹豬手可以揀燒或者烚,圓形鐵板上,墊咗好多酸椰菜晌底,加多一個烚薯仔,一開四,賣相絕對係粗疏。燒嘅都試過好幾次,所以今次改食烚嘅,食其原味。感覺唔算太鹹,幾適中,外皮雖然無咗卜卜脆嘅感覺,但咬落啜啜哋口又幾有趣,而且又無想像中咁肥,伴住酸椰菜嚟食,感覺仲好;肉質方面,亦已經煮腍晒,鬆軟有肉味。

巴伐利亞式煮牛仔腸

同樣以圓形鐵板上枱,兩條大牛仔腸,加一個手掌大細嘅鹹麵包圈,伴以蜜糖芥末汁,賣相同樣「求其」,貫徹德國嘢食嘅風格,但味道唔錯。據朋友講係德國最南部嘅做法,以牛仔肉造成,脂肪較少,無一般豬肉腸咁油膩,而肉香帶鹹,鹹中又帶有香草味,配住啲蜜糖芥茉汁同食,非常滋味。如果對依個牛仔腸有興趣,不妨晌凍櫃買一包走,都係兩條裝一包,好似四、五十左右,比起堂食平成半有多啦!至於個麵包圈,德國傳統送啤酒食品,以麥粉炮製,咬起嚟十分韌凈,帶鹹,有趣但唔覺好食!

Left there very satisfied.

餐湯便盡叫三款,有忌廉湯,磨菇湯,還有Goulash匈牙利牛肉湯,最為可惜是沒有綠豆茸湯.三款帶有不同風味,忌廉湯很滑,很濃的奶油味,質感濃而不算太杰.磨菇湯內的磨菇已經磨碎,再混合忌廉一起煮,所以磨菇味道特別香.Goulash雖然是匈牙利最為有名,其實在歐州大陸亦有很多地方,也有此一味.此Goulash的味道帶一點點辣,還有牛肉的鮮甜味道.好些人將Goulash拿去與羅宋湯相提並論,根本是兩回事.

頭盤要兩道香腸菜式,一味是扒龍堡豬肉腸,另一味是巴伐利亞式煮牛肉腸.前者是豬肉腸,後者是牛肉腸,但煮法有所不同,豬肉是烤,牛肉是白拾,就算配菜也有所不同,龍堡腸配酸椰菜,煎薯餅,巴伐利亞的一方,以德國傳統小吃pretzel為伴.

龍堡腸身短小而幼身,肉味頗濃,肉質比較淋身,吃德國菜會經常見到酸椰菜,因為德國菜大堆頭,而且肉食多,令人吃不消,酸椰菜是有助減低膩感.個人極為推崇這種煎薯餅,是真材實料,將薯仔切成絲煎出來,絕非那些快餐店貨色可比擬.那邊的巴伐利亞牛肉腸,相對肉味較淡,質感比較爽口彈牙.配角的pretzel,我興趣不大,沒有去碰.吃香腸另一個最佳拍檔,就是芥辣,德國的芥辣有一個特色,是不辣的.你我也受得到,夠user-friendly.

炸牛仔肉本來是源自奧地利,在中古年代,德意志等同德國奧地利,二戰年代也是同盟國,希魔本身在奧地利出身,都沒有去認真地分誰是德國,誰是奧地利了.牛仔肉扒成薄片,做法在早前食評也提過,是用鎚仔將牛仔肉耷到扁,連肉質之纖維亦隨之瓦解,然後再沾些麵包糠去炸,便成為炸牛仔肉了.外表薄薄的金黃外層,入口香脆,牛仔肉的肉質鬆化.

當我們到達餐廳時,餐廳人客也頗多,侍應安排我們坐在凍肉雪櫃那一邊靠欄杆的單邊位,放眼望去就是售賣蛋糕、麵包及芝士、香腸及凍肉的雪櫃,各式食品,琳琅滿目。說實在的,來到德國餐廳,主要也是想吃燒豬手及香腸,因此看過餐牌後,是日晚餐只有扒龍堡豬肉腸配薯蓉及酸椰菜較合胃口,於是我們另外單點了德國豬手拌椰菜沙律。

下單時,因為我有一Coupon註明有七五折及每位送上一杯飲品,結果我們詣問侍應Coupon是否可用,唯侍應卻說得含糊其辭,我和老朋友都弄不明白,結果花了很大的勁才說清楚,惠顧套餐會多送一杯飲品,雖然我們只叫了一款套餐,但套餐本身包括一杯飲品,因此我們應該會有兩杯飲品就是了(我和老朋友均苦笑不已,其實只是很簡單的優惠,而我們亦想弄清我們的叫法會有多少杯飲品,看看是否要單點一杯,可侍應卻沒從顧客角度去想,而且將簡單的優惠越說越複雜)

當我下單不久,有侍應捧著一盤麵包,詣問我們是否要一些,我看到有些是一般的圓形的芝麻餐包,另有牛角包,而有些是切成一片片,有些穀物的,我就詣問侍應這些是甚麼麵包,結果女侍應好像不太願意回答,又是含糊其辭的答了一下,老朋友也看在眼裡,我也沒意思再問,和老朋友各要了一片麵包算了。

正當我照相的時候,侍應又送來了餐湯,可能是我將包放在枱中央方便照相,結果侍應感覺相當不悅,因為要等我們稍為移開碟子才能放下餐湯。待侍應走後,我開玩笑的問老朋友:我拍照是做錯了甚麼嗎?老朋友也會心微笑起來(這非我個人偏見,而是老朋友亦有同感)

麵包吃起相當厚實,麥味濃郁,與一般鬆軟的麵包,是截然不同的類型,塗上一點牛油,味道相當好,加上麵包頂端有些芝麻,平添了一些濃香的芝麻香味,吃起來既美味又飽足。撇開侍應的態度不說,這款德國特色麵包相當好吃,後來我發現我們斜對面就是售賣蛋糕麵包的地方,當中有這款麵包原個出售,有興趣的可官不妨一試。

我們只叫了一份套餐,因此餐湯只有一碗,老朋友與上次Outback一樣(請情請參閱食評-《大個仔係我(老朋友篇)》)孔融讓梨,將餐湯讓給我喝。忌廉湯看起來相當濃稠,呈淡黃色,亦加入了一些淡忌廉,賣相還算不錯。喝起來味道相當濃郁,帶有香濃的雜菌味道,加上當中加入了一點雜菌粒,令湯添質感及嚼勁,味道不俗。

在我用完餐湯的當兒,我和老朋友言談間,侍應出奇不意的在我身後取走餐湯的碗子,坦白說,我和老朋友都帶點愕然,因為一般情況下,侍應也會打個招呼或詢問是否需要過後才作收搭,但這種突襲式的行動卻令正在用餐的客人相當不自在。

龍堡豬肉腸先來,看上去份量不多,龍堡豬肉腸只三條,配上些薯蓉及酸椰菜,賣相較為普通。當我在拍照的時候,侍應亦將燒豬手送來了,與送餐湯來的時候如出一轍,侍應也是擺出一副「你拍照卻礙著我上菜的態度」我和老朋友也不管了,你有你上菜,我有我拍照。

說回這碟龍堡豬肉腸,豬肉腸偏向白色,粗幼長短與一般的香腸相若,經香煎,帶點焦黃,吃起來,外皮不是特別香脆,豬肉味道濃郁,加上油份頗多,吃起來頗油香,食味不俗,不過女士們則可能會覺得略為油膩了一丁點,整體而言,食味還是相當不錯。搜集了一下資料,原來這龍堡豬肉腸是餐廳自家製作貨色,誠意可嘉。

薯蓉方面,沒加太多調味,味道自然,帶有濃濃的馬鈴薯的味道,配上濃味及油份較多的龍堡豬肉腸,清淡的薯蓉顯得相當搭調。

燒豬手送來時已然起肉,連一块豬手骨送來,旁邊伴上一些酸椰菜及新薯;就賣相而論,的確被King Ludwig給比了下去,King Ludwig的燒豬原隻上桌,再即席在客人面前豬手起肉,賣相及做法均較這裡的吸引及可觀多了。另外隨豬手配上的BBQ汁我就不太感冒,現在不論是吃日式吉列還是燒豬手,都愛配上一些黃芥辣,因此就問侍應取了少許。

說回這碟豬手,份量其實不少,但感覺上確較King Ludwig要少一點,看得出豬手外皮燒得焦脆。吃了一块,外皮相當脆口,豬手肉也夠鹹香,唯肉質稍乾,可能與燒的時間及火路控制有關,雖不至於非常粗糙,但吃起來少了份潤澤感,多少影響了食味。借用老朋友的說法:好像沒有King Ludwig的燒豬手來得好吃。對此我也深表認同。焗薯味道清淡,薯味濃郁,質感粉腍,味道不錯,不過如可以配上點配忌廉就更好了。倒是這裡的酸椰菜,我就覺得食味比King Ludwig的要合我胃口了。這裡的酸椰菜味道較清,沒有King Ludwig的來得強烈,吃起來較易入口,吃些酸椰菜,的確能稍解燒豬手的膩滯感。

吃過主菜以後,是時候吃些甜品了,甜品有沙律或蛋糕可供選擇,老朋友原以為所謂的沙律是那些沙律雜菜拼成的沙律,不過我遠眺蛋糕櫃,才發現有些一杯杯的雜果,但份量很少,經詢間侍應後確認那些就是沙律,老朋友感覺大打折扣,因此就轉為要蛋糕了,而蛋糕是由客人到蛋糕櫃自取的。老朋友又將這個任務交付給我。蛋糕櫃內的蛋糕約有數款,都是一些較為普通的款式,包括朱古力、鮮果忌廉、Tiramisu等,當中有一款名為德國芝士蛋糕最吸引我的眼球,既然在吃德國菜,吃一件德國芝士餅,感覺也較為圓滿。

當我拿著芝士餅回到坐位時,枱面上依舊陳列著吃過主菜後的碗碟,老朋友遂叫侍應清理一下,順便拿多一套叉及碟子,好讓我們Share蛋糕來吃。結果侍應第一次只拿了叉,經老朋友再次提醒才拿來碟子。不過,當老朋友拿過碟子時,面色一沉,細問之下,才知道碟子是暖烘烘的(相信情況就如在酒店吃自助餐時,熱葷旁攞放的碟子是暖烘烘的相類似,吃冷盤甜品的碟子則是放涼了的)老朋友對於侍應知道客人要吃蛋糕也提供一只暖烘烘的碟子著實無奈。

說回德國芝士餅(番查資料,德國芝士餅應叫作Käsekuchen)賣相與較為常見的紐約芝士餅相當接近,蛋糕上多了兩片朱古力雕花作,及一粒藍莓作裝飾。坦白說我一向對紐約芝士餅不太感冒,不過為了一嚐德國芝士餅的風味,我還是願意冒上一定風險的。還是老規矩,我和老朋友各半,既然老朋友的碟子是熱的,當然也要驗證一下,是否對吃蛋糕有影響吧!我們要用數據說話。我將朱古力雕花的一块分給老朋友,而朱古力雕花則從蛋糕上移放到碟子上。

這件德國芝士餅吃起來質地綿軟,芝士味道濃郁,但味道中帶丁點酸味,味道有點像乳酸 / 酸奶的味道,很好的中和了蛋糕的濃味感覺,吃起來不覺膩滯,撇開對德國的偏好,這款德國芝士餅確較類近的紐約芝士餅更合胃口,連老朋友亦有同感。不過有趣的還在後頭,當老朋友準備吃蛋糕的朱古力雕花時,因為碟子熱力的關係,雕花已成朱古力醬,實在讓我們哭笑不得,亦令我們對餐廳侍者的質素大感無奈。

吃過蛋糕後,我們各叫了飲品,老朋友要了一杯汽水,而我則要了杯熱奶茶。

老朋友的7汽水先來,杯子Size正常,但只有大半杯汽水,而且冰粒不少,細看下也沒什麼汽泡,毫不誇張的說,感覺就像給人喝了兩口,放了一段長時間的一杯汽水;看起來也滿倒胃口。看著老朋友喝了兩口就差不多喝完,引用老朋友的說法,冰粒極多,似乎連餐飲也難令老朋友滿意。

看到老朋友的汽水,對於我的奶茶也不抱期望,反正也約定和老朋友另覓他處把酒言歡,因此也無需在意。結果我的奶茶卻出乎意料的精緻,侍應奉上一金色茶壺,另外奉上茶杯及茶隔。茶壺內放著紅茶葉而非用茶包,感覺認真。沖泡後品嚐一下,紅茶是英式的早餐茶,嗅著芳香,入口和順,味道很好,實在大大出乎我的意料之外。

餐廳裝潢以木為主,用以帶出歐陸的味道,餐廳面積頗大,除了用餐位置,亦有地方售賣芝士、火腿、麵包及蛋糕,因此餐廳算作較為寬敞,唯放眼所見,餐廳枱椅放得頗為擁擠,我們坐的位置已經是較為寬鬆的,因此環境舒適程度非常一般。食物方面,在港打正旗號售賣德國菜的地方著實不多,難免會以為人熟知的King Ludwig作比較,而我們今次吃的豬手及香腸,也算是德意志菜式中的代表之一,論質素,除了自家製的龍堡腸較為有特色外,其他的也及不上King Ludwig,加上價錢要較King Ludwig為高,因此難免被比下去。

侍應服務實在令我和老朋友嘆為觀止,上文述及也就不再贅述了,結果結帳時還會為精彩的「表演」作出謝幕,實在令我們無話可說。話說我們結帳,早已附上Coupon的我們應享有七五折優惠,但經理遞給我們的單據卻以原價計算,我們查問過後,回覆是沒看到有Coupon!剛巧老朋友用AE結帳,原來用AE簽帳也有七五折(只差沒送飲品)經理說照Coupon的優惠打折給我們,結果當我們準備離開時,經理才終於找到了我們的Coupon,實在令我拍案叫絕(試想想,如果老朋友不是剛巧用AE卡,結果會如何呢?)

以酒店內食肆的服務水準而言,Delicatessen Corner的服務水平可說是有夠差劣的,就連一向不計較的老朋友也大表不滿,服務之差,可想而知。雖說本地德國菜的餐廳屈指可數,而且這裡的食物質素總叫可以,但服務水平之低,真的令再次光顧的意欲相當有限,老朋友亦表明「這是第一亦是最後一次」。上文多所述及侍者服務,因為實在不討不快,還望見諒。箇中反面例子之多,亦足以作為侍者培訓教材矣。

德國燒豬手:份量好足,一隻豬手,大約已經幫我地分咗六份至七份。豬手就皮脆肉嫩,好好味﹗
而伴菜既酸菜,就唔太合我口味,但係友人又好喜歡喎。另外一款配菜就係煮薯仔,係完全無調味過的煮薯仔,一般啦。

波伐利亞式煮牛仔腸:首先,香腸只分了兩大類,豬肉腸同牛肉腸,咁我地已經 order 咗豬手,腸就揀牛啦。食落口,腸本身既味道唔算突出,係易入口既味道,不過食唔出有牛肉味。反而個醬就似牛肉醬,我地絕對有懷疑過係咪牛肉腸同豬肉腸既分喇,只係在於個醬呢。而個蝴蝶包呢,好硬的﹗
用刀切都好有困難,食咗一小塊,唔係話好好味,所以放棄繼續切啦。
食完主菜,我地就算有幾飽都要 order 一客甜品先捨得走,友人揀咗件薄荷檸檬芝士餅。薄荷味好清涼,而檸檬醬又唔太酸,整個甜品幾好味﹗

The Tiramisu was pretty good - not soggy, not spongy; not too bitter, not too sweet. The Chocolate Cake was so rich, it could probably cause a heart attach. My favourite was the Mango Yoghurt Cake which was just a little bit sweet, and just rightly sour.

三次試味後的感想:
tomato bread: 很多蕃茄乾呀! 茄味雖不算太突出, 但可以接受, 喜歡tomato 的不妨一試!
caraway bread: 眾多之中我最愛的一個! 健康之餘caraway seed很有咬口呢! 味道不會單調, 包身也算"軟熟", 可以encore!!! ( $18)

sunflower seed bread: 是我另一推介! sunflower份量十足, 對於喜歡有咬口感的我當然也愛吃這個囉! ($29)

kibble wheat bread: 這個在其他地方真的找不到! 不懂怎麼形容這個口味耶, 就是有點"粗獷"的感覺, 麥味也重, 不是每個人也接受到的一種另類麥包! ( $29)

3 seed bread: 這個有點失望, 吃下去跟一般包沒有太大分別, 3 seed反不及 caraway seed來得有口感, 總之就是味道很普通而已... ($34)

german dark rye: 德國菜怎能不吃德國包呢! rye bread一向是我的心頭好之一, 各式黑麥也曾試過不少, 這個算是水準之作, 會有下一次! ($35)

辮子包: 這個味道很淡, 香味不足, 也不夠軟身, 有點失望... ($21)

It was around 1p.m. when we arrived, there are several empty tables even though we have already booked the table for sofa seat.
The environment is dim but comfortable because the setting is kinda countryside and the waitresses are wearing lace blouse which has a country girl feeling.

The set lunch comes with a soup,a main course,a dessert and a drink.
There are 4 set lunch to choose from and we ordered Fish with Spinach and Potato and a braised beef brisket with cheese & macaroni as our main course.
For that day, there are only 1 kind of soup which is the beef brooth. Broth is distinct from stock, which is a thin liquid made by simmering raw ingredients until all the taste has been retrieved from them, then sieving the resulting liquid. Its beef broth is tasty, very simple but well falvoured. The soup also comes with bread but rather giving you a basket, the waiter was holding a big basket of several kinds and you can choose what you like. I chose their wholewheat as well as semi-whole wheat bread. My dad chose sesame bun. As a bread lover, I can tell that their bakery is awesome as their bread is chewy and cakey and smells very wheaty too. The deep brown colour of the wholewheat one is just my favourite among all.
Just after our starter, the main course came at the right moment. The portion of the fish is pretty small indeed according to the price. Dad as a fish lover tells that it is quite fresh and the side dish is tasty too. As for my beef brisket, it is very tender and the beef taste is very rich. The cheese and macaroni is nice too but not special.
We are told that we can choose our cake/tart at the bakery or simply have a plate of fruit.
We both went to to the bakery and I got a classic Plum Streusel and dad went for the marble cheese cake. It was the first time for me to try Plum Streusel, the texture was like something between bread and cake. There are several layers within one streusel, and the plum's sweetness is just right and balances out the whole tart. It impresses me afterall.
As I had 2 more hours to go, I stayed and enjoy my cup of Hot Chocolate. Even though we have already paid the check, they did let me sit there and was willing to constantly fill my jar of hot water as the air-con was too powerful.
Anyway, it is a nice place to enjoy your lunch when you have plenty of time to spend.

因為突然好想食德國咸豬手,見又有優惠,就同女朋友一齊去食啦!女友叫左個set LUNCH 南瓜湯, 咸左d, 有南瓜味. tu拿魚,冇咩味,個汁反而幾好味,點包食一流, 咖啡,一d味都冇,仲要唔似係即磨 自選旦榚, 女友選了German cheese cake,ok la我剩係叫左隻豬手,因女友唔食(自己),自己一個隊=.=超飽........咸豬手, 燒得好脆個皮,ok咸啦!但唔好用個燒,加埋就太咸!好食
