If you’re looking for an affordable, high quality food in a casual environment, La Parole is worth a try. They are also the first French restaurant that will donate part of their revenue to the charity group. Bon appetit! We ordered both 5-course ($480) and 6 course ($550) dinner menu. The only difference was that there’s additional starter - pan fried eel for 6 course. Let’s start by the bread and starters. We are served by bakery-fresh bread with 3 sauce aside, including olive oil, cherry tomato
We ordered both 5-course ($480) and 6 course ($550) dinner menu. The only difference was that there’s additional starter - pan fried eel for 6 course.
Let’s start by the bread and starters.
We are served by bakery-fresh bread with 3 sauce aside, including olive oil, cherry tomato and butter.
After that, few starters were served.
1. The chewy lobsters, crabmeat roll has infused with radish that given more firmer texture, perfectly dipped with mayonnaise and mango sauce.
2. We were thrilled about this Roasted Suckling Pig with peach and Sichuan pepper gel, honey mustard and seafood sauce. Surprisingly the skin was crisp, thin and easy to bite into. The meat was flavourful, tender and moist.
3. Slightly disappointed about this lobster bisque, it wasn’t that smooth, and creamy as expected.
4. Crisply prepared eel served with baby carrot and prepared with cherry tomato, onion and leek sauce. Nice!
As usual, summer sorbet was served before the main course. It was blackcurrant sorbet and drizzled with gin, it was super refreshing that freshen up my tastebud.
I’ve picked the tenderloin and my friend picked the pan fried iberico pork for the main course.
For mine, the medium rare of tenderloin was cooked perfectly and the meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and sweet. Not to mention the Squid Ink sea salt, added some flavour to the meat. It was fantastic. The portion was just right.
For the pan fried iberico pork, the pork was moist and well-balanced with gravy sauce.
We surely need some decadent desserts after we've already eaten those savoury food.
I can't even describe how delicious the combination of this Jumbo size Orange Souffle with orange sorbet. The subtle egg flavour has also enhanced the orange flavour and it literally melts in my mouth with a moist almost undercooked center.
The Premium Raspberry and Tiramisu Cake was also another highlight. It wasn’t that sweet but slightly lack of tiramisu flavour.
Last but not least, I had the Best hot chocolate of my entire life. It’s not ordinary chocolate powder, instead they used Belgium chocolate to do the magic. Simply indulged and unforgettable.
We truly had the best night at La parole, thanks to their excellent service and unbeatable food. Will be back next time!
