這個沙律Bar的菜主要有三種選擇、紅葉生菜、浪雪生菜和紅椰菜,其他有還車厘茄、紅腰豆及珍珠筍,沙律醬汁的也有四種選擇,個人來說還是比較喜歡橄欖油加陳醋的組合;這裡的橄欖油除了原味之外,竟然還有五種已經調味的可供選擇,陳醋也有六款之多(主要是酸度及香氣不同),適合不同喜好的人士。蔬菜及配料新鮮,配上自己喜好的醬汁,那有不好吃的道理;唯一不足的是菜的種類選擇不多,如果有我至愛的火箭菜便好了😁 香港人日益注重健康,吃沙律的風氣也越趨普遍,好吃的沙律一點也不寡淡,而且款式多變,味道是想像不到的精彩!

來到燒烤區,也可以試試鐵板燒,選擇方面有牛肉、豬頸肉、魷魚、秀珍菇、青椒及菠蘿;師父把食材放在鐵板上耐心的燒煮,香味也跟着隨隨釋放,待師父把燒好的食物放到旁邊的碟子上,已急不及待把它帶回座位上品嚐;師父看我這「猴擒」的樣子,還細心的叮囑我注意熱度,真夠體貼。說回食物,豬頸肉看似肥膩,但其實甘香爽口,一點也不油膩;魷魚燒過後,還保留了適度的水份,不會太乾身,口感煙韌;菠蘿部分的水份經燒烤過後流失,甜味更能突出,廚師的燒烤技術了得,時間控制得宜。

開始進入直路,Pilaf Rice, 應該是手抓飯的一類吧,米粒的形狀長長的,做出來的飯比較鬆散 (不然一手抓下去米粒還不都黏在手上嗎?),味道偏淡。咖哩雞肉,咖哩味香濃,雞肉索滿了咖哩汁,惹味非常。蒸海魚,第一次吃的時候感覺魚肉嫩滑、鮮味無窮,第二次再食時,魚肉已開始變得嚡囗,可能蒸的時間已經過久,所以喜歡吃魚的朋友,記得要趁早吃了。另外還有烤春雞、法邊豆炒牛肉、西芹炒鲜蝦、烤羊柳、啤酒炸魚柳........等 以供選擇😋

Momo Cafe 已非常貼心地將 cookie dough 壓至2-3mm厚,我們只需用曲奇模將聾貓肥胖的身軀cut出來,放在焗盆上,然後酒店便會幫我們焗曲奇,需時大約15至20分鐘。於等待期間,pastry chef 仔細地示範了製作 cookie dough 的方法,亦講解了很多做曲奇的竅門。

香噴噴的曲奇終於焗好 ,顏色是淡淡的金黃色,非常適合之後的朱古力造型。偷偷地吃了一件,是較實淨的質感,因為要承托各方面的造型,所以這塊曲奇口感不能太過鬆軟。Momo Cafe 的曲奇甜品都絕不會下防腐劑以及化學色素,而且全部都是即日新鮮製造,就連舉辦曲奇班,也不會預先為學員pre-bake cookies,寧願花多一點時間也要即場焗製。

大家千祈唔好心急,焗好的曲奇需要放涼大約十分鐘才可開始裝飾。Momo Cafe 細心地為我們準備了溶化後的黑朱古力以及白朱古力膠,好讓我們可以幫「肥嘢曲奇」洗白白。這一招 chocolate dip 真的要眼明手快,如果太貪心,朱古力會變得不平均而且太厚,如果太少,顏色就不夠雪白。

好了,到了最關鍵的步驟,便是用朱古力吱花這個最關鍵,亦是最考功夫的環節。本人對呢隻"肥嘢"的面部表情實在是太熟悉了,話雖如此,這些曲奇得來不易,我也不要太逞強了,就麻煩 Google master 仗義幫忙,照抄便可以了。吱朱古力的力度控制十分重要,吱得太用力線條便會粗大,而且朱古力一旦凝結,便要勞煩酒店專業的 pastry team 幫我們稍為加熱。就連 pastry chef 也要幫我們跑來跑去為朱古力加熱,真的辛苦他們了。

老實說,地點是不太就腳的......但為了食好西,這就只是小一椿了 沒有堂煌的氣派、沒有型格的設計,但那簡單清新的感覺就是討人喜歡!沒有長長的buffet line,食品的種類未算很多,但賣相討好!Get set! Appetizer zone 出現了小小的人龍,好奇o既我當然要去睇睇有咩限時特別美食啦。原來師傳推出了熱溶芝士,omg,I must try this !將巨型的芝士放上熱爐,溶化後加上cold cut 及多士,淨係睇見都開心。暖暖的芝士,加上咸香的凍肉片,另配上香脆的多士,三種口感糅合的滋味實在難忘。可惜這個食太多一定會戰敗的,唔係我一定會多來一round!

甜品的賣相一般,我只選了兩款。手快有手慢冇的梳乎里入口香軟,還有淡淡的檸檬香味,讓豐盛的晚餐在清新的感覺作結
很多客人都排隊等候即叫即製的crepe,看來挺吸引的,只是個人不太喜歡,有興趣的不妨試試。

翻看自己的飲食照片,原來十一月初曾跟朋友光顧過沙田石門的萬怡酒店。其實萬怡的Momo Café坐得好舒服,空間感強,座位闊落,既有卡位,又有特大方檯,一家大細或者拍拖都不成問題。其實酒店的Buffet是日見進步,單是雪糕,已經由本地貨轉至哈根大師,燉湯更是每次不同,最佳回本位的Seafood Station都先後加強了陣容。先講下大閘蟹任食,每次只可以拎一隻,也好,實在有太多人想回本,吃不完之下,寧願浪費都要拎,而且每次限量,大閘蟹保持熱辣辣,未嘗不是一個WW的做法,蟹身只得3兩半左右,但蟹膏幾香滑,如果不夠,隨時可以再下一城。Seafood Station海蝦、蜆、長腳蟹爪、東風螺、吊桶及藍貝都能夠維持水準,沒有令人討厭的雪味,但最令人驚訝的是有泰式生蝦出現,有蒜粒及辣椒置面,香氣滲入蝦肉,泡浸一下醬汁,清爽而微辣,非常惹味。刺身三文魚、八爪魚、希靈魚及鱲魚亦是新鮮貨色,畢竟是酒店出品,吃得安心,而且肉質軟熟,不過食藥中,只能樣樣食少少。鐵板燒位於大堂一角是鐵板燒位,牛柳、牛脷、大蝦、菠蘿及甜椒都是即場煎熟,尤其是大蝦修剪過,食起來亦方便得多,牛柳及牛脷都是滿有嚼口。湯個人很欣賞萬怡

Indeed not disappointed with any aspects of the options on displayed, it certainly was not mass cooked food for the canteen. The open style kitchen was smartly arranged and witnessed the cuisines were proportionally cooked before being brought out onto the buffet stations.

As expected, a typical range of international cuisines were showcased from mild spicy Indian curry prepared for the local palate to unevenly sliced sushi/sashimi. Don’t anticipate anything outlandish, not even Prosciutto was presented at the delicatessen station, unquestionably limited in variety.

There was a roast beef carvery station, but the chief sliced the meat too thick instead of the traditional thin slice. Fortunately, it was tender enough and the gravy was warm and meaty. A bit disappointed that neither Yorkshire pudding nor roast potato were presented.

The dim-sum station was in every aspect as savory and indistinguishable as from any reputable dim-sum restaurants. A notable dish was the stir-fry Thai prawn that would have been a dish not out of place at any Michelle star restaurants. The dense meat was wonderfully juicy with a light spicy flavor that was not too over powering.

The shellfish station (crab leg, clam & mussel) was casualty prepared, it was just boiled with a slender salty flavor. The replenishing of the crab legs were on the slow side. Two styles of soup (Chinese & western) were on offered, both were simple, soothing and reasonable in textures.

The dessert choice was extensive, bound to please the most sweatiest tooth, from Häagen-Dazs to reasonably enjoyable flavor cheesecakes.

For the price of HKD320/person, I generally was not overwhelmed with the selection, although the taste was as expected for a buffet lunch. Might come again just for the mesmerizing.

成個幾月都冇見BB女友(點解?-_-),佢約左我黎呢度食自助餐,話有蟹食bo...咁咪試下囉呢間cafe位於石門地既萬怡酒店,人流唔算多,因為位處商廈區,晚上出面都比較清靜,不過由石門站行到酒店都只不過唔到10分鐘,所以都算方便。入到去,未人齊,食住沙律等住先人齊就開餐,大部份都係自助既,有部份熱食就要待勞首先,有魚生併盤,有三文魚啦,八爪魚,希靈魚等等...味道鮮美~長腳蟹,唔好睇佢咁瘦長,原來都幾多肉下的有凍既熟蝦,彈牙,啖啖肉,青口和蜆都好厚肉,又新鮮,如果食得多都真係飽我最鐘意飲湯,無湯不歡,有姬松茸瑤柱燉螺頭好香既螺頭味,我飲左兩碗蟹呢!來了,大閘蟹三兩半重既大閘蟹,黃金的膏,膏多肉少,食過蟹肉,都係肉質鮮甜的椒鹽蝦,我都幾鐘意,食左好多隻,蝦殼脆扑扑,蝦肉厚身惹味最後,食埋豬骨濃湯麵,我鐘意飲湯,個豬骨湯都好出味,我叫了一個油麵底,剛剛好
