大粒肉丸加豬潤加豬腰跟豬肚同大腸兼加些少蔥的配撘,粥底香滑軟綿綿,煲得連一粒米也看不見,粥有好香的豬肉味道,十分入味。潤是厚切,有點咬口,腰也大塊,質地較軟糯。當中的豬肚最淋細滋味,豬腸具嚼頭足咸味。肉丸大塊但無乜味。全部食材均能食,沒有丁點浪費。熱辣上碗,碗也不細,很適合冷天吃,食完個身暖笠笠呀!

熱辣煎好的糕共有兩件,臘味重,加上面頭脆卜卜的瑤柱絲,幾香口,再加上附上的甜醬,就更引起食欲!少見少有瑤柱是這樣炸香舖面的,吃起來,有層次。糕本身已好夠味,夠哂咸,唔加醬也可!一人吃完兩件,已幾膩,仲有點太咸tim!

奶滑茶香,比例做得不俗,高身杯但比正常的要大,冰塊是叫了少但仍不少,所以飲品好夠凍。

幸好星期六晚飯時間都不多人,不用等位最抵讚,嘻……

Tried Wong Chi Kei before in Central but as I didnt try the noodles I didn't know the noodles were the best.The noodles here are really thin and tasty and they don't have that nasty alkaline taste.The platter is really good because you can sample all the goodies like dumplings, wontons, pork trotters, beef belly and braised mushrooms.I didn't try this but they have crispy baguette buns that you get in Macau with scrambled egg and black truffle.

 我相每一個人心中都會有Comfort Food。可能幾年前我都講唔出我的 Comfort Food 係乜野, 直至我遇到麥兆記。從那刻開始我便愛上了云吞麵這東西。而每一次吃完也令我有種安穩的感覺。所以間中我也會到處尋找不同的出品。而中環的黃枝記我去年已經試過, 印象中的雲吞麵也是較精緻和味道亦較中上。所以我專誠來到我熟悉的銅鑼灣黃枝記新店。上一層樓梯便進入裝修很簡潔, 很骨子的店子。光猛的白色燈光, 雲石枱配高背椅, 枱與枱之間有足夠的空間感, 感覺十分適服金牌蝦籽云吞撈麵細細隻散尾云吞, 恰如其分蝦子雖然甘香但銀絲細麵才是重點, 它們稱每條出品幼麵也是0.5 mm, 爽滑彈牙全無皂水味, 上品難怪原來是它們還是堅持以竹打麵, 難怪麵質如此爽口配上大地魚湯。油菜菜芯翠綠無渣, 份量足夠兩人用。整體水準不俗,  吃得飽飽令人感到那份安全感 。

I have been craving for a good plate of beef brisket flat noodles for months and Wong Chi Kei has got everything I wanted! The flavour of the beef brisket, the texture of the noodle, the taste of the chili oil and clear soup. They all reminded of the old Hong Kong authentic taste of simpleness.

Having them all together in one bite would be the only way to enjoy this traditional small dish. The freshness from the scallion and sourness from the pickled ginger balanced out the thick and strong preserved flavour from the duck eggs. The crunchiness from the sliced ginger also made a great contrast to the soft eggs. It was a dish that I could eat again and again!

The deep fried dough super crunchy and stayed crunchy after being wrapped in rice noodle and smeared with sauce! This dish always brought me back all those good memories when I was young, sharing this dish with my mum at some small shops in wet market. Mum, I miss you.

黃枝記以雲吞麵起家,當然不容錯。竹升麵之所以美味,是因為在人手不斷施壓打麵的同時,麵團能得到平均而充份的延伸機會,口感固然更彈牙。因麵條本質上已有一定彈性,不用加入太多鹼水後製也會得到理想的效果。這碗鎭店雲吞麵,麵質如預期般彈中帶爽,湯中的雲呑大小適中,蝦肉鮮爽,成品沒有令人失望。

肉絲炒麵 - 這是一款我十分喜歡的廣東傳統麵食,同行的友人竟然表示未曾品嘗過,以為只是普通的炒麵,咁當然要叫黎試一試啦。麵底炸得不錯,沒有油膩感,咸香脆口。芡汁用了肉絲、香菇絲、芽菜和韭黃烹調,非常正宗的做法,不太厚亦不會太稠,個人認為如果調味略微重手點就更好。

早前在中環吃過黃枝記,食物味道不錯。今天走過銅鑼灣謝菲,發現有間新店,剛剛肚子餓了,就走進醫肚。舖在1樓及2樓,地方簡潔,裝飾以中式為主,配上酸枝木椅,有點故典味道,環境舒適。除了粥品、湯麵、撈麵、腸粉外,也有特色小食、葡國包和澳門香滑奶茶等。坐下叫了狀元及第粥($50)、炸鯪魚球(小$58)、澳門豬扒包($38)和澳門香滑奶茶($18)。狀元及第粥粥底綿滑,由於是生滾粥,粥底火燙鮮甜,吃下暖胃。及第粥的配料跟足傳統,如豬腰、豬肚、豬潤和肉丸等樣樣齊,滾得剛熟,入口爽嫩,十分好味。炸鯪魚球有5粒,粒粒圓圓渾渾,像乒乓球,鯪魚肉味鮮,可惜炸得比較硬口,不夠鬆化。澳門豬扒包,包身烘過微溫香口,豬扒肉嫩味鮮,一口吃下,啖啖肉香。至於澳門香滑奶茶,水準也不賴,十分香滑。黃枝記食品水準不錯,但價錢就不算經濟。

常常都只是吃快餐店和西餐,有啲時候都好想清一清腸胃。所以清清淡淡的一餐就最好不過了。黃枝記就是我的好選擇。滑牛粥粥香而綿滑,粥非常的滑,軟綿綿的感覺。不會太稀。米飯和水的份量剛剛好。味道不會太淡,牛肉軟腍,味道清中帶點咸香。炸兩用上獨有醬汁,口感不油膩。外層腸粉皮軟軟的,只是裹面略微不夠香脆,但勝在醬汁味道惹味。肉絲炒麵炸麵香脆,伴上豐富醬汁,入口惹味。麵質有濃濃蛋香,整體味道咸香得宜而惹味。
