今晚唔知食乜,因為一陣要睇戲,所以黎左皇室堡,見到峰壽司,就去攞張飛,點知有排等,但我們都很肚餓了;見到另一邊廂有間食烏冬的,未試過,唔知好唔好食...... 但見門面都唔錯,價錢又唔太貴,於是就入去一試喇~~~一試後,覺得完全沒有選擇錯誤!!! 由於真係好想食魚生,所以都叫了一個試下..... 幾好喎~~幾鮮!!我們一人一個烏冬:我的,鮮茄濃湯牛肉烏冬,個湯真係好濃,好正呀!! 朋友的烏冬,吉列豬扒烏冬,都好好味姐!!! 還有一個餃子可能我們掛住食烏冬,所以好遲先食餃子,凍了,一般般喇~~最後埋單幾錢唔係好記得,但記得唔係好貴,期待下次再去!!!!

今次約了朋友到銅鑼灣吃晚餐.想吃烏冬或拉面.所以前一個晚上便上OPENRICE 找找哪一間好吃.決定了到 皇室堡 甘味 試試 款式都算多.所以都看了好一陣子餐牌才點菜 我們點了二個主菜一款小吃.我點了..有鮮茄和椰菜在湯裡. 很滋味還加上 天婦羅炸粉醉. 令賣相更吸引 天婦羅是又熱又脆的.沒有太油利的感覺.朋友點了...賣相很不錯喔.這個款式不點蟹棒還有鰻魚選擇 這個就有點點失望.很普通的感覺.又不夠香脆.但整體都算不錯.其實餐牌內還有一個好像叫"二十殼米"下次要試試喔

今早在皇室堡看完"傻密歐"便搵嘢食。其實在皇室堡十間有九間都食過晒,今次就要試試阿妹推介的烏東店。一入門口,可能因時間尚早不是太多人的關係,服務員姐姐帶我們坐到一個望到維園的一級靚位。這裡既然叫烏冬店當然應該以叫烏冬為首選。但耐何我見到memu上的二十殼米十分吸引加上小妹已叫了烏冬,所以我决定叫了個溫泉蛋牛肉二十殼米。不消一會二十殼米和烏冬就送上。二十殼米飯香滑無比,不用餸作配答也能把整碗吃下來,牛肉反而比較普通。手打烏冬爽口彈牙 , 正!平曰感覺在銅鑼灣食飯比較貴,但今次叫set lunch埋單都只係百多元,下次去皇室堡時一定會再來光顧。

後記:
1) 餐牌內介紹"讚岐"為日本四國香川縣既舊名,盛產用小麥粉手打製成既烏冬。烏冬重用舊名証明佢有好耐歷史啦,所以我完全冇質疑佢既好味程度,當晚最終決定先試個二十殼米釜飯。
2) 餐廳內所有雞蛋都係日本黎既。
3) 雖然我坐喺隱蔽既一角,不過哥哥仔會不時走過黎同我加茶,睇下我有冇特別既需要。
4) 所有食物十分鐘內到齊,效率真係好高。

烏冬幾彈牙,讚岐手打烏冬係唔同D。牛柳粒都幾好食,不過唔夠熱,但數量都足夠。

我見佢有生蠔供應,唔知好唔好味呢
不過應該無咩人黎呢度食生蠔掛@@哈哈!
我對此店既期望其實唔係太高,但食過覺得都好食既,而且唔太貴,算係銅鑼灣平價之選

比較杏花村的分店,這兒環境更理想,侍應人手充足,跟得更貼。食物水準也算不差:豬軟骨及牛尾都相當腍滑,雞扒肉本身沒什麼味道,不過有不辣的咖喱汁幫忙,又有喜愛的穀飯,感覺不錯。令人失望的反是主打的烏冬,雖然幾滑卻欠煙韌彈牙的質地。菠菜餅雖然外脆內軟,亦並不油膩,但是吃不到幾多煙肉味道。同樣是可以做得更好的地方。

皇室堡的UA重開了,發覺皇室堡開了數間新食肆,好呀,在銅鑼灣食飯多點選擇.原來呢間唔係乜新野,同杏花新城那間烏冬店係同一間,不過呢間大好多,所以都多好多款式.一睇完戲,就入呢間,我地獲安排坐一個卡位,都吳錯,吳會太迫.我惦了個豬軟骨斧飯,他點了漢堡扒蕃茄湯烏冬.斧飯有得楝二十穀飯或白飯.我個有跟salad同埋miso soup, miso soup 一向都不是my cup of tea, 所以無飲到.salad就係得corn,得幾粒,真係食唔出乜野味道.呢d沙律,吳跟也吧.個斧飯黎到,咪睇佢係金屬製,其實都吳熱的,所以d飯都好溫溫吞吞,一d都吳夠熱,睇落好細但其實都幾夠食,豬軟骨味道都算okay, 仲有小小菜添.不過整體都係快餐的standard.漢堡扒蕃茄湯烏冬,我無食漢堡扒,個烏冬都可以,都幾彈牙,個湯好像係金寶蕃茄湯.都係果句快餐的standard啦.

This place is fine. It won me over with good food; however I have yet to be won over by its service.

We came here on a weekend afternoon at lunchtime and pretty much came here by accident. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we didn't have to wait for seats unlike many other restaurants in Causeway Bay, so we took to our seats.

We ordered a pork soft bone sanuki udon, pork neck sanuki udon, two salmon handrolls and a takowasabi. Service at that moment was minimal but prompt; the entrees (handrolls and takowasai) came to us within 10 minutes and the udon within 15 minutes.

I have nothing but praise for the handrolls and takowasabi. The handrolls' nori was crisp and the salmon was fresh. Apart from the fact that the wasabi was flat (not enough spice in it) and the soy sauce bottle kept on leaking at its bottle neck, the handrolls were excellent. The takowasabi was evidently made with octopus chunks - you can actually tell what you are eating, instead of white slimey gobs. Unlike the wasabi chunk that came with the handroll, there was ample wasabi flavour in the takowasabi, which made up for the lack of kick in the handroll. Taste wise it went with each other very well.

Our sanuki udons arrived whilst we finished off our appetisers. The udons we ordered were $38 each, and we didn't expect gargantuan portions. Fortunately they weren't huge in portions, but they were decent enough to fill up average Hong Kong guys. The pork soft bone chunks were average in size and portion, but the pork neck was well marinated and cooked. Sanuki udon, meanwhile, was great, with the udon cooked with some chew left in it and the sweet broth was neither overpowering nor non-existent. This, along with the nice view of Victoria Park and parts of Tai Hang on a sunny summer's day, makes eating here a great experience.

Sadly after a very fulfilling lunch, something had to happen to mess the lovely lunch up. We wanted to check the bill and leave and asked for the bill to be checked three times in 10 minutes, only for our requests to be ignored. Meanwhile we watched as the table next to us asked for their bill to be checked after we did, brought to them in less than a minute, and got their change back in another minute. This infuriated me and my better half and I stormed off to the counter and left our money there. Despite apologies from the waitress whom dealt with my requests, I was not amused.

Lesson of the day: If you want your bill to be checked promptly, drop your signal to the senior service staff. It is likely that if you make any requests to check the bill with the junior service staff (i.e. look for TRIANEE - that's how this restaurant spells their name tags
) it will fall on deaf ears. Minor requests like filling tea and asking for plates and chopsticks will be met by them, but I guess checking the bill - or relaying requests by patrons to check the bill to senior staff - is not within their job description.
