Nothing too overwhelming
It’s a very fresh and straightforward choice
Am in love with the jelly and Perilla on top which gives you some acidity and balanced really well with the oyster
-Sashimi
Everyone knows I am an ark shell fan
And I love this sashimi in yuzu sauce
Not only you can taste the umami of the shell but also the citrus aftertaste
-toro sandwich with sea salt
Am surprised when the chef mentioned toro
It’s quite rare to see any toro at the first half of a normal omakase
But turns out the timing is just perfect for me!
When i was not extremely stuffed
And can really enjoy the fatness fully
- Chawanmushi
First time to have eel larvae in a chawanmushi
As the “platinum” of eel
It’s rare and with a very interesting texture
-squid and sea urchin tempura
Am Delighted to have something other than prawn! Haha
This is a very bold and innovative dish that I didn’t expect in an omakase priced below $1000
The squid gives you a texture like the Chinese fish ball
Very chewy but nothing too flat with the sea urchin
I Recommend not to add the sea salt as
The sea urchin alone is already enough to balance out the flavour
-sushi
Enjoyed the sushis a lot
Instead of focusing only on the cut
The chef added different seasonings to give you an extra layer
Say the yellowtail belly is paired with raw SHICHIMI
And the squid is paired with 3 types of miso and mixed it into a liver liked sauce
-abalone rice bowl
-clams soup
-egg roll (without flour but with crab and prawn paste)
-hakata strawberry
Extremely Value for money!!!
Chef is very friendly and accommodating
almost full house on a Sunday late afternoon
Will definitely revisit
