由細到大都見住依間餐廳屹立係金鐘既一個角落一直都冇去過因為我唔係話太好鋸扒但見到佢好評多同埋甜品好吸引就去試了入面好黑暗,唔入去都唔知原來入面咁大係門口入去店員就好親切咁帶位一路行左半分鐘先到,經過一條長長既走廊好古色古香既feel,我覺得好似係一隻古老既郵輪入面走廊兩旁會有唔同既店員同你問好,有一種比人重視既氛圍,不禁一路行時都會屏息黎到一個近窗既位,好有自己空間一坐低就有一個店員黎自我介紹話係今晚負責我地依張枱的好專屬的一切都有水準,水也是fuji,唔錯先送上暖暖的法包好新鮮焗好,有香滑的牛油雖然唔係我最鐘意既包,但暖暖新鮮既都唔會差叫左個肉眼扒set,出名的蟹肉餅同大蝦沙律先有個龍蝦湯好香濃又夠燙口好靚既橙色,好濃既龍蝦精華味道岩岩好唔會太杰太咸配似少少既蜆肉同黑胡椒帶番起個味好好飲呢大蝦沙律4隻大大隻肉質勁彈牙既蝦晶瑩剔透,配埋微酸既cocktail sauce當中又有蕃茄既碎蓉加強左口感新鮮既菜,係一個清新既前菜個人覺得菜既份量可以更多,沙律醬都可以多d如果唔係菜會太乾重頭戲黎喇我地既12安士medium rare肉眼扒要一讚既係佢地係用超滾既碟去上牛扒同蟹肉餅層次係唔同的,

我地既12安士medium rare肉眼扒
要一讚既係佢地係用超滾既碟去上牛扒同蟹肉餅
層次係唔同的,咁樣會可以鎖住哂入面既肉汁
令到個味道發揮得最好
而且咁做真係令人未食就流口水
佢一路滋滋聲咁上枱已經今人好期待
仲要因為咁樣而令佢牛扒上面既牛油味好香好香咁湧出黎

一切一食,真係好耐冇試過咁正既衝擊
肉質真係好嫩好juicy
好濃郁既牛味,入口即融真係得
但就好考功夫
依到做得到了,其他標榜牛扒專家的貴價餐廳都做唔到依個水準
的確令我眼前一亮,一口接一口咁享受
真係回味無窮

伴菜好多選擇,要左芝士西蘭花,又係好濃既芝士係面

蟹肉餅又係出色
好咸香,唔受得既會覺得過咸
但如果一路飲sparkling wine
一路食就會中和番岩岩好
好多既蟹肉,啖啖鮮味
仲有好多香料提升左個味

講真覺得有d浪費,6個人食都得
提議佢地個份量真係可以減少
同埋麵包布甸配埋雪糕會更好食

不過佢當然冇令我失望啦
好香既牛油同威士忌醬,帶有少少酒味
好濕潤好淋,而且好多提子乾
肉桂味再重d會更好

整體黎講真係一個好有心既用餐地方
冇好華麗既裝潢但有種好穩重好保證既感覺
仲有專人照顧你無微不至
食物更係出色一絲不荀

環境高級寧靜,美式風格, 也許客人不多, 給人感覺嚴肅, 幸好這種感覺隨著服務員的親切態度, 很快就進入飢餓狀態我們一行五人坐下, 服務員很快為我們倒水, 我們急不及待就點了這裡最出名的Fillet & Rib eye 牛扒, 本人由於不吃牛的關係, 也點了一份羊扒, 接著是凱撒沙拉,芝士薯容,芝士菠菜 , 甜品及咖啡開始吃......面包(免費) - 外皮脆, 內軟熟 , 配滑滑的牛油 , 好吃! 環境是高級偏寧靜的, 頗舒適。服務不錯, 友善, 類似經理的男仕還跟我們說笑, 可能有朋友是熟客。這裏會用一隻熱燙燙的碟把牛扒盛着, 再加牛油提味。龍蝦湯, 很一般。主角牛扒, 我選了Rib Eye, 本人吃牛扒本人會從以下幾方面評論, Ruth's Chris所得的分數是(5分為滿分):內質-4肉味-4肉汁-4.5準成-5, 真的是我要的medium總分是4.4, 屬頂級!另外還試了少許友人的另一款牛扒New York Strip, 肉味比Rip Eye更重, 內質較有咬口, 是另一種美味啊! 但沒有拍照。羊肉也試了一口, 也很不錯。

We order the filet steak which was stringy and came with no sides and way overpriced for the small portion size. The sides which cost as much as a main at other restaurants were undercooked. we had the potato au gratin, backed potato and spinach and the potatoes were raw and we couldn't finish them and the spinach was overlooked but the taste was ok.Would not go back and wouldn't recommend, also the waiter made our daughter cry and was insulted because we didn't leave a tip..

聽聞Ruth's Chris的steak是十分出色,一直都很想試!! 終於有機會了!!!還以為晚飯時間會很多人,但只是有一台客人在用膳可能時間尚早.店內環境寧靜得像圖書館,所以我都不敢大聲說話.好像一說話就會有很多人望著你...坐下以後,很快服務員就過來自我介紹,然後問我們要不要酒,本人亦不是一個太能喝的人,要水就可以了我要了8oz 的fillet,朋友要了16oz的rib eye 還有side dish - Layonnaise!! 我就要留肚食甜品 兩份也是medium rare 因為看見了其他人的食評說碟是十分熱,所以不要叫太熟的熱騰騰的包首先送上外脆內軟!! 平時的我都不太喜歡加上牛油, 但這個熱的麵包真的要配上牛油,身為麵包癡我,其實不介意只是食這個麵包做晚餐 steak很快就送上了果真碟是十分熱,因為當兩份steak送上時聽到牛油bubbling的聲音!!牛油把steak的香味提升了!! 令人食慾大增!! 把steak切開,內部呈現粉紅色 雖然碟是很熱,但廚師仍然做到medium rare的效果!!! 生熟度依然平均!!!肉質方面,steak完全不韌,沒有渣,而且十分嫩味道

雖然碟是很熱,但廚師仍然做到medium rare的效果!!! 生熟度依然平均!!!
肉質方面,steak完全不韌,沒有渣,而且十分嫩
味道方面,牛味非常濃郁,齒頰留香

我不是食steak的expert, 你叫我分出fillet和rib eye 我是不懂,如果今天晚上兩塊steak的份量是一樣,我一定不會分得出來,但好與壞都懂得分
Ruth's Chris 的steak 真的是叫人一試難忘!!!!!!

試了朋友的rib eye, 味道是有一點不同, 他的rib eye 感覺比較膩一點!!我還是喜歡我的fillet

還試了朋友的Layonnaise. 廚師把薯仔跟洋蔥兩種普通的食材煮得一點也不普通!!!
香脆的薯仔加上煮至透明的洋蔥為我填飽第一個胃


然後就是吃甜品的時間

服務生把四款甜品陳列給我們看, cheesecake, Warm Apple Crumble Tart, Chocolate Molten Cake and creme brûlée,
然後叫我們選擇
其實除了creme brûlée我每一款甜品我都不介意
所以就叫朋友選擇!! 哈哈都擔心他會選擇creme brûlée但他原來跟我一樣都不喜歡creme brûlée

食一啖有三種不同的感覺 - 面層酸酸的忌廉, 中層香濃的芝士, 還有充滿牛油香的餅底, 絕對是味覺的享受!!!!
朋友倒覺得這個cheesecake太甜,,結果我自己把一大半吃完!!


很滿足的一頓飯

Got kicked out of the restaurant because it was after 3pm. Don't you think that a western restaurant should be more flexible for western people? Not at all good value for money. Never going back. Not recommended. Far from the other franchise restaurants in the US. No wonder there were only 4 tables besides us when arrived at 130pm.

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms,$320,扒大蘑菇的外型比想像中的細小,不是十分厚身的那種,口感不夠豐富。但蘑菇菌香味濃,菌汁豐盛,味道不錯。伴碟的有露筍、西蘭花、蕃茄、小蘑菇及薯蓉,露筍是預期的更爽脆鮮嫩,味道清甜。而吸滿菌汁的薯蓉份量還很多,入口很滑,味道討好。

最後是令人期待的甜品侍應遞來多款甜品盤給我們看,上次來這裡是吃Chocolate Molten Cake,魔鬼溶岩朱古力及Warm Apple Crumb Tart,蘋果批。雖然另外的款式也同樣吸引,但每款甜品都很巨大,所以只能選出一款,最後還是抵擋不住朱古力的誘惑,也要再吃魔鬼蛋糕。

大型的朱古力蛋糕上放著大球雲尼拿雪糕,再淋上厚厚的朱古力醬及焦糖醬,賣相十分誘人,令人迷倒。這款蛋糕並非像心太軟般帶流心效果,但味道同樣令人喜愛。把蛋糕切開後,朱古力醬凝聚在中心,但份量較上次吃的少。蛋糕味道香濃,甜而不溜,質感鬆軟但帶點乾,要沾滿濃稠的朱古力醬或跟口雪糕吃,濕潤一點才更好。

店方還送上一個小型的Oreo芝士蛋糕,蛋糕質口感不算很滑溜,並以朱古力餅作底,吃著也有濃郁的Oreo香甜。份量雖然細小,但這也不錯,免吃太多太甜溜。

這夜的菜式不錯,個人很愛這裡的蟹餅,與Grand Hyatt Steakhouse的相比,兩者味道同樣鮮甜,但這個更為香脆可口。離開時,再次看見那誘人的甜品盤,決定要來再吃甜品

We were greeted by a bunch of very friendly staff and I’d say that throughout the meal, the waiters were really attentive and well mannered. Since this was more of a business occasion and formal dinner, I was still pretty disappointed with their steaks. Even though there was a lot of people to serve, I don’t think that they should take it as an excuse. My cowboy rib eye ($640) was asked to be medium rare, however, I found it too tou

Even though it looked massive for myself, it was actually just all fat on the sides of the bone. Looks deceive for this dish.

We each ordered an appetizer. I had the lobster bisque and found it to be really good. It had some lobster bits in it and tasted really good compared to when I last remembered at this other restaurant. The appetitizers in general were fairly good..all really standard.
They had one of my really favorite red wines on the list – Robert Mondavi.

Nice environment.Very good staff - very attentive and very informative about anything that was asked. Very meticulous. Can't fault her at all.Four people. Three dishes as one was a t-bone sharer. All cooked perfectly.Ribeye was nice....ribeye is difficult to screw up.The t-bone satiated the two who were eating it.The seafood / steak was also nice and filling and cooked to perfection.Vegetables, for the price, I thought were a little sparse but, having said that, we did all leave with full bellie

All in all a great meal but a venue that will only ever be frequented on special occasions due to the rather 'large' bill for what was, essentially, steak. I know that you are paying for the whole experience, but at those prices.....well, I am just glad it wasn't me picking up the bill.

My 2nd anniversary dinner was held in Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. I had always considered Ruth's Chris as a fancy steakhouse given its price, but found they aren't going the fancy style but a happy cosy steakhouse style. In several localised steakhouse in HK, you will find 'black pepper sauce' along with the steaks, but in Ruth's Chris Steakhouse the best sauce to go with your steak is Butter, Salt and Pepper. A topnotch steak does not require any sauce as itself can already provide the best taste

(A point to note: Once you have tried Ruth's Chris's Steak, you could never go back! Their steaks are heavenly delectable that you will miss them everytime you have steaks elsewhere. No exaggeration!!)

Very american settings with brilliant ambiance, looking fancy but quite causal. Seating is rather packed, but we reserved a more private area beforehand so we were fine.

Delicious! It tasted very similar to the Maryland Crab Cakes (where Crab Cakes are originated from) according to my boyfriend. The Crab lumps tasted fresh and was nicely garnished with red peppers. It was slightly crispy with bread crumbs. And the dish really did come in sizzlingly hot!!

Fillet, 11 ounces (9/10)
Came in a really thick cut and grilled in a perfect medium. It was very tender with suitable chewiness and had a Strong beef taste. Absolutely brilliant steak, the Fillet tasted twice as good as the Ribeye.

Had the ribeye in medium rare with extra butter and it came sizzingling on dish with the perfect look and texture. The texture was Great with the fats but the fat portion seemed too much. Upon my first bite I thought it had a much better texture than the Fillet, but later I found the fillet had a stronger beef taste and a nicer texture. Yet Ribeye definitely is a bit juicier than the Fillet.

An extremely thin and crispy caramel layer covered the lovingly smooth and creamy vanilla custard base. YUM! It is one of the best Creme Brulee I have ever had, or actually its the best at the moment.

It was a surprise complimentary dish for my anniversary with my boyfriend, so sweet of them! I love this bread pudding, it was overflowing with CINNAMON taste! (I admit I am biased on cinnamon based dish lol) There was also too many raisons and a very strong whiskey sauce that I dislike.

Service (9/10)
Great hospitability, everyone carries a smile, very smart and caring. Nothing to ask for more. The pace of courses delivery was a bit rush though and there was no bread knife for the bread. Hence a point taken off from the perfect 10. Otherwise, its really fantastic!

Given the smartness and the hospitability of the staff, I will highly recommend Ruth's Chris to anyone who is trying to host birthday/ anniversary party. When we were deciding which desserts to choose from, the staff said the portion of the bread pudding and the banana tart are both too big for us and recommended us to try the four most popular dishes as shown on the dessert display tray. My boyfriend and I later figured it might be their tactics so we wouldn't choose the bread pudding which they have prepared as a complimentary annivesary dessert.

On my way out of the restaurant, the staffs kept saying happy anniversary to me. Although feeling a bit embarassed, it was actually pretty sweet and warming!

P.S. Do make a reservation beforehand and inform if its for a special occasion or not, they will prepare a great surprise if it is. Enjoy

And then after the waiters settle down our seats, I start looking at the menu.
There are variety of steak for us to choose from. Rib Eye, T Bone, Fillet...etc
I have ordered Filet with less 'oz' as I though I cannot finish a 8oz Rib Eye myself.

The appetizer is baked onion with cheese and fired onion.

After we talked for around 15-20 mins, our main course - steak was being served.
Different from other steak house, the steak was served with a extremly hot special dish, which can keep the steak in a stable tempature.

Generally, this is the best steak I ever tasted !
For the service , it's really excellent. We started our dinner a little bit late at 10:00( They closed at 11:00)
At last we stay until 11:45, and a staff stay there to clean up our tables.
They never show impatient

難得放半日假,打算來個悠閒的午餐,就跑到這裡來。走美式風格,甫進來就有好些漂亮的廂座,可惜我們是WALK IN,不過大堂也非常的漂亮,木質的裝修予人很溫暖的感覺。侍應感覺上非常專業和有禮,不過沒有什麼笑容,讓這次的午餐添上點嚴謹。洋蔥湯和面包先上。朋友對搭配的牛油讚不絕口,而我則喜愛洋蔥湯味濃而不鹹。上面舖上一層蒙莎里拿芝士,厚得讓人幸福的感覺(太膩了吧!)我的牛柳不用一會兒便到了。熱氣騰騰,油香撲鼻,肉質很好,而且外面連著香草用極高溫燒得焦脆,但裡面還是嫩紅的牛肉,正正正!朋友也欣賞牛扒三文治,牛扒上舖上芝士,但我還是比較喜歡自己的牛柳;我反倒一直搶他的薯條,新鮮即炸的非常好吃!雖然貴了一點,但這次悠閒的午餐實屬難得,喝著果汁聊聊天,我們都一副滿足的樣子離去。

A bottle of Shiraz, Lobster Bisque, Rib Eye and Apply Pie is my own Set


They have set dinner, and A la Carte with choices of different steak and appetizers, salad.

One of the 2 Signature wines is my favourite Shiraz, Blue Eyed Boy 2009 from South Australia. Not expensive, around $1,000, and really nice.

I used to have salad but I have Crabtini this year, so fresh and nicely presented.
Lobster Bisque, I like the strong taste, yummy!
12 oz Rib Eye, medium rare, so good
with a selection of side dish of creamed spinach....Wow...

Finally, dessert time.
To make my dinner more Christmas feel, I had the Apply Pie...it's huge, even sharing among 2 people, but we can finish all to complete our Christmas dinner


They played Christmas songs for the whole night, and the atmosphere was great!
