以前成日黎食晚飯。。但自從無係附近返工已一段時間無黎。。剛巧今日係附近就諗住同朋友過黎食個lunch。。耐無黎感覺好似殘舊左。。得幾枱客。。well。。最緊要好食。。望一望午餐牌。。出奇地平。。都係三十幾至到五十幾蚊。。最後叫左干牛河,回鍋肉飯同夫妻肺片飯超級推介夫妻肺片!香辣適中,真係停唔到口!回鍋肉相對較油,味道不算突出。。較失色牛河很夠獲氣。。如果用粗河會仲正!臨走見到隔離枱食水煮魚。。都係50幾蚊大大碗。。下次一定要再黎食先得!

這家小菜館可說是近來的人氣食店,既然風評不俗,就來試試看吧。我們訂了八點的檯,到達的時候幾乎滿座,由於這裡樓底比較矮,所以挺嘈吵,就算我們坐在同一桌,對面的友人講什麼都不太聽得清楚,要邊吃邊談天就不太容易。餐牌裡的食物大多是煲仔或鍋類,大概佔整個餐牌七成,如果一心想吃小炒的話就不太合適。蒜子魚湯浸芥蘭、菜心苗由於太多鍋類菜式,所以我們特意點了兩款魚湯浸菜,感覺比較健康。芥蘭和菜心苗兩者之間,我覺得菜芯苗好吃一點,因為很嫰很甜,相反芥蘭太大棵,而且有丁點澀味。大良雞蟹煲叫了半隻雞的,雖然裡面有蟹,半隻都賣$278其實都唔平。雞肉都算煮得幾入味,肉質也夠嫰,但友人說蟹肉不太新鮮,有少許霉。連同雞煲會附送一碟鳥冬,烏冬吸收了惹味醬汁,非常好吃,好吃得大家都有意想追加一份,不過最終太飽放棄了。砂鍋生啫田雞煲其實我不吃田雞的,不過我嚐了裡面的一些乾蔥,味道不錯,挺惹味,至於吃了田雞的友人說肉質很嫰,是繼雞蟹鍋之後第二道最受歡迎的菜。九製豬手豬手的醬汁是以九製陳皮製作,味道很濃,但偏甜了點,加上豬手並沒有炆得很腍,豬皮有點靭,不容易咬開,每人各自吃了一件就沒人理會,最後要到清碟分派時間才被完全消滅

蒜子魚湯浸芥蘭、菜心苗
由於太多鍋類菜式,所以我們特意點了兩款魚湯浸菜,感覺比較健康。芥蘭和菜心苗兩者之間,我覺得菜芯苗好吃一點,因為很嫰很甜,相反芥蘭太大棵,而且有丁點澀味。

大良雞蟹煲
叫了半隻雞的,雖然裡面有蟹,半隻都賣$278其實都唔平。雞肉都算煮得幾入味,肉質也夠嫰,但友人說蟹肉不太新鮮,有少許霉。連同雞煲會附送一碟鳥冬,烏冬吸收了惹味醬汁,非常好吃,好吃得大家都有意想追加一份,不過最終太飽放棄了。

砂鍋生啫田雞煲
其實我不吃田雞的,不過我嚐了裡面的一些乾蔥,味道不錯,挺惹味,至於吃了田雞的友人說肉質很嫰,是繼雞蟹鍋之後第二道最受歡迎的菜。

九製豬手
豬手的醬汁是以九製陳皮製作,味道很濃,但偏甜了點,加上豬手並沒有炆得很腍,豬皮有點靭,不容易咬開,每人各自吃了一件就沒人理會,最後要到清碟分派時間才被完全消滅掉。

花甲蒸水蛋
花甲份量不少,但比較細隻,蜆肉都算鮮甜,水蛋蒸得很好,很滑溜,但令蒸蛋變得那麼好吃的其實是蒸魚豉油,單點這道菜已經可以送一碗白飯!

例湯是粉葛鯪魚豬肉老火湯,足料,味道濃郁。九制豬手份量不少,配醬帶開胃感,豬手骨膠原多,不是肉多,而是糕多,以豬肉和老雞熬成大良蟹雞鍋,湯汁精華十足,蟹肉鮮甜,雞雞肉也比較嫩滑。花蛤蒸水蛋很大盤,水蛋很滑,花蛤沒有腥氣,較為清淡而已。難得一流的住家外出既晚餐。

例湯是粉葛鯪魚豬肉老火湯,足料,味道濃郁。

九制豬手份量不少,配醬帶開胃感,豬手骨膠原多,不是肉多,而是糕多,

以豬肉和老雞熬成大良蟹雞鍋,湯汁精華十足,蟹肉鮮甜,雞雞肉也比較嫩滑。

花蛤蒸水蛋很大盤,水蛋很滑,花蛤沒有腥氣,較為清淡而已。

難得一流的住家外出既晚餐。

新年前後,總有大大小小的 gathering 要排除萬難地出席,其中一個就是我們稱為教父的 F 先生舉辦的飲食 Blogger 及公關界團年飯局。這一個教父團年/開年飯局,一年比一年熱鬧,去年的飯局,感覺只是一班老朋友圍威喂開心大吃一餐,這一年的飯局,可以又食、又拎、仲有抽獎環節,認認真真的開心。而這一年的開心教父飯局,就選址在佐敦的《千鍋居》舉行。每一年,飯局多多,但要真正濟濟一堂,的確是要靠農曆年前後的 marketing 大 event,而我一入場,牆上大大隻標語『教父團年飯局』,簡單而霸氣十足。再者,這一年的確不再是圍威喂了,多了許多的贊助,滿檯都是禮品,贈券,另外有好多好多的大獎,而獎品多到,基本是到場者人人都有,永不落空。晚宴場地《千鍋居》,是一間以川菜同廣東鍋菜式為主打的中菜館,所以,我們的前菜六小碟有就麻辣豬耳。也許不讓香港人吃到太辣,這麻辣豬耳的辣度是有所調低的,入口雖是爽爽,但辣感未能令我極興奮。蒜泥白肉,也是辣度減退了的版本,不過入口卻是非常之香口,連皮的白肉片,爽口,香口,也帶有適中的咸香味道,味道感覺中規中矩。口水雞,好的地方是夠香辣,以足夠的辣油去浸淫這一隻

煲滾了,馬蹄、腐竹、冬菇、冬荀、等等等,令到羊腩煲散法出奇香。再者羊肉不羶,皮肉均腍得很,肉味香香,湯味濃濃,在凍凍地的日子吃上這一個煲,是絕等的開心。

四川水煮滑牛肉,很美味,也很合我口胃。因為四川的水煮菜式,我是比較喜歡食牛肉多過食魚肉。夠多椒,夠麻亦夠辣,內裡的牛肉香滑同大豆芽爽甜,愛辣的人一定會覺得夠爽,但這一個水煮,其實可以再辣、再麻多一點點。始終要照顧一般香港人的口胃,冇計的。

招牌碌鴨,已經細份,骨多過肉,仲要再加個鴨頭比客,不知所謂。羊腩煲,汁少完全唔夠,想用汁煮下生菜都唔夠,唔合格。貴唔緊要,你都要比返咁既質素我先得架,全完唔明其他食家點比到咁高分。有冇下次?我真係冇勇氣食多次囉。

The Place: Sen Hot Pot is a Chinese hot-pot restaurant in the heart of Jordan, not far from Jordan’s MTR Station (exit B). The restaurant is officially located on Jordan Road but the entrance to the building is really around the corner.

The restaurant can be found on the 1st floor of Liberty Mansion. When you enter, the room is large with sturdy tables and seating for four along the windows and walls around, and bigger round tables in the middles of the room. All tables at Sen Hot Pot had an on-table cooker. The whole room was very brightly lit and gave me a kind of old fashioned vibe. The staff was friendly but unfortunately too passive in serving me as their only foreign customer (due to my lack of Chinese and their lack of English language skills). Being how I am, I used all necessary body parts to express myself and tell them what I wanted, and I got exactly what I wanted; luckily soon after, my Chinese girlfriends arrived to take over :-) 

The Food & Beverage: We decided to have crab stir fry with chicken including diverse vegetables; the restaurant staff came along to stir fry our food for us which was very nice of them; the crab was extremely fresh, the vegetables were firm and the chicken added that certain flavor to our combination to make it awesome. We also ordered some noodles that we added to our little mix later on. The food looked and tasted delicious - see for yourself, as follows:

As a second dish, we ordered duck. The duck had an intensive yet fresh taste. We ordered some steamed rice to go with our dish. This was a very yummy yet very filling dish.

I really liked both dishes a lot, but did not think that they perfectly matched each other – but this was not the restaurants' recommendation…

We got a free-flow of Chinese tea with our food.

The Price: The price was really reasonable. We only paid 140HK$ per head, and were happily stuffed.

Bottom Line: Sen Hot Pot offers good authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price. The portions were large in size, the ingredients were fresh, the food tasted pretty good; in addition to that, the staff was assertive and friendly, the service sitting was fast, the food was delivered fast; moreover, the restaurant including the toilets were clean. The restaurant was not super fancy in outlook, but the food was good, and that is all that counts! Thanks.

在蜆蟹煲樓下街角往對面馬路一看,已看到千鍋居的霓虹招牌,致電一問即時有位,GOGOGO!況且千鍋居知客小姐的態度跟蜆蟹煲的也不能相題並論。

這家樓上火鍋店佔地甚廣,裝潢也比一般火鍋中餐館特別,場內人客雖多也不迫狹,沒訂座的我們還有沙發椅可坐,能舒適地跟遠方來的好友吃個飯多好。

大大鍋材料也蠻多的豬骨鍋以桌上有品牌電磁爐加熱,湯滾時滲出陣陣藥材湯香,沒有鄰桌醉雞鍋般酒味濃郁但也不是沒味道之流,以黨蔘、紅棗、杞子煮出的湯底蠻夠香濃,未加食材前先飲一碗也真有藥材湯味道的 。

鍋裡有幾大件難以咬開的大豬骨外還有不少肉質鬆化的豬軟骨、厚肉肥美的黃油雞腳和沒有異味的豬粉腸,喜吃湯渣的我真對味!

蔬菜比肉類更多元化,湯殼每次也尋到蘿蔔、粟米、炸腐竹、豆腐卜及中芹的配料,尤以超甜粟米最最好吃,吃罷這個豬骨鍋,其他食材也可以點少一份了。

千鍋居不但有火鍋,還有不少小炒供應,外地來的朋友也笑問"究竟呢間係食乜架呢??"

以前往內地工幹時老闆通常會點的碌鵝這裡也有,只因這道碌鵝處理工夫較多,在香港食肆是較少遇到,在內地見到就不錯過了;這道招牌秘方醬油碌鵝有例牌、半隻及一隻的份量,只點例牌的份量也不少,以瓦砵當容器很有砵仔鵝風味。

明顯看到曾經炸過的鵝肉下相當肥美,鵝皮雖肥厚在炸過後也不算很油,鵝肉也蠻滑溜不韌,單以鵝肉來說也是不錯的,加上以有點酸梅味道的酸甜醬汁炆煮過,用作伴飯真的一流。

砵底還有一層酸蘿蔔片墊高鵝肉,這層用作"裝假狗"的酸蘿蔔爽脆酸甜,還有解油膩作用,兩者結合真的好味!!

本來點的啫啫通菜莖說是沒有通菜而改為啫啫芥蘭煲,由侍應姐姐即場放菜入鍋裡熱鍋裡拌勻,如鐵板餐的喳喳聲很有氣氛。

芥蘭段已去底部外皮,讓每條芥蘭也細嫩無渣,簡單以少量豬肉碎、蝦醬及紅椒絲爆炒的芥蘭真的有鑊氣,那種香氣是家裡很難炒得出來的。

這道女仕滋補恩物熱乎乎的,糖水中有著甜甜紅棗香,那顆桂圓則可視作一粒水果,清甜滋潤的糖水讓大家更為滿足!

滿場飛的侍應數量看來不少,只是地方不小關係其實也不容易找個侍應,不過有求必應也算合格了;店裡遇有幾款晚飯套餐,價錢也只是一般水平,加上地點方便及夠寬敞,千鍋居也可列作飯局地點之一。

「雪梨媽」對惹味的砂鍋啫啫芥蘭煲,原來情有獨中,芥蘭在大砂鍋中顯得特別渺小。一試醬汁沒有預期的滋味,而幼身的芥蘭不是夏日的時令菜,難免沒有冬天那麼甜美,整體不過不失!

我們愈吃愈興奮,最終三人一共要來了四鍋兩碟,打破以往的紀錄,除了證明我們也是大胃王一族以外,相信胃腩的容量會隨著滋味與喜悅的心情自動調昇。看到「雪梨媽」和「永高」滿足的表情,我也高興起來了!

四個人有两個細食的,叫了~1.雞蟹鍋(半只)2.椒鹽蝦3.沙鍋田雞4.招牌魚咀5.豬蹄2支啤酒,1支可樂埋單1090元1.蟹細只,雞無乜肉,但新鮮,勁多油,較咸,蟹鉗殼未卜爛,沒入味2.蝦, 中size ,肉質新鮮,沒有太油,但沒有挑去腸一條黑色的看見也沒謂口,太懶了2.蝦,壳沒搣好,整只蝦只有本身的蝦味,完全少許咸味、 椒鹽味也沒有3. 勁油,肉略少及太細粒4.感覺不油,有其它比較,所以較好食5.好淋,几好,入味總恬,無下次,只有招呼好撘夠了。
