以? 不是我們order的呀! 哈~原來是送的前菜 -- 胡椒脆脆同洋蔥餅, 還有兩款醬汁 -- 薄荷汁及酸甜汁。初初以為紅色的是辣的, 估錯了! 反而綠色的薄荷汁涼快得黎有少少辣! 幾得意~而胡椒脆脆好香口, 而且好薄, 就算不點汁都夠味! 至於洋蔥餅, 有少少甜味! 外脆內軟, 總之就好食!

不知老闆是否心情靚, 再多一份胡椒脆脆, 但跟之前的不同, 是圓形上面加上蔥, 乾蔥, 洋蔥, 蕃茄等等....老實說, 本身對上面的東東不太討好....但友人不停說好味就試一試, 的確! 脆脆加上配料有少少酸酸地好開胃的感覺!

好! 正式order的開始上檯! 首先是友人的朋友推介的芒果酸奶 Mango Lassi HK$36。首先已比想像中大杯, 芒果味很濃, 用新鮮芒果先有這效果吧! 酸奶亦沒有想像中酸, 味道很自然! 初初以為會好稀, 但其實有少少似smoothies, 好豐富的質感!

之後就是特色燴免治茄子Baigan Bharta HK$72, 主要因為另外兩道菜都是肉, 想叫個素食中和一下! 一上檯我問店員是乜東東, 是關的確好免治...認不到是茄子呢!(笑) 就是因為茄子煮得很稔, 印度香料超入味! 除了茄子還有青豆一起煮...可是我不吃青豆的, 辛苦友人了!

然後就是鑊仔羊肉 Lamb Kadai HK$98, 果真是鑊仔, 很小的, 不過入面份量是ok的! 上檯時超香! 鑊仔羊肉有很重的孜然味, 羊肉煮得好軟, 不算很羶....一開始食就停不到口了! 味道好濃郁~真的無得彈!

印度菜少不得咖哩吧! 這裡都有好幾款咖哩, 最後揀了--椰汁咖哩牛腩 Beef Madras HK$82, 以為上面會是有椰汁點綴, 出奇地是椰絲呢! 牛腩燜得很稔, 看來印度菜煮肉都有一手, 都可以鬆軟而不散開! 反而對咖哩有少少失望, 印度的咖哩應該是偏濃烈的吧, 但的確覺得未夠濃郁及杰身呢, 當然亦可能之前鑊仔羊肉太搶鏡吧!

因鑊仔羊肉及咖哩牛腩都有醬汁, 當然不要浪費, 而且這裡出名有印度傳統烤爐, 少不了試試千層餅 Paratha HK$28。雖然有少少油, 但餅面烘至金黃汁, 少少脆, 入面則是軟軟的, 搣開一小塊點汁食一流!!

题外话/补充资料: 老闆很友善, 會問問客人覺得味道如何? 看得出有心做的! 我老實照講咖哩可以更好, 老闆就說因為因應香港口味不敢煮得太濃太辣, 說下次可以跟他說說要求, 保証滿意! 還說如住新界, 推薦去深井總店一試! 好, 有機會吧!

今天跟老婆仔到了港島看花卉展然後乘坐電車到了港島西面來到了堅尼地城因為老婆仔有點不舒服所以便盡快吃完晚飯後回家選擇了這間電車站附近的印度餐館雖然是印度餐館, 但我認為佈置也有高級西方餐廳的特色算是不錯的選擇難得來到港島區高級餐廳, 我們決定吃得豪一點選了92元的印式雞肉炒飯 (Chicken Biriyani)還加了89元的特式瑪沙拉羊肉 (Lamb Butter Masala)另外也點了一個32元的芝士烤餅 (Cheese Nan) 作為小吃老婆仔還想要甜點, 因為要了36元的青瓜乳酪 (Cucumber Raita)飲品方面老婆仔則要了36元的芒果酸奶 (Mango Lassi)先來的是一款小食我不知道這是什麼但就是類似薯片加上醬汁就是很常見的印度食物我很喜歡那紅色的醬汁, 辣度剛剛好, 還帶微甜配合印度薯片一起吃就是一絕不過我們都沒有用手吃可能是因為這樣, 吃起來還差一點之後來的就是印式雞肉炒飯以這個價錢來說, 炒飯的份量不太多但卻很好吃咖喱味相當入味就像每粒飯都塗上了咖喱味也不會顯得太濃而且雞的質感也剛好也給起了骨整碟飯的感覺是非常好的炒飯對得起這個價錢這個特式瑪沙拉羊肉盛載的

先來的是一款小食
我不知道這是什麼
但就是類似薯片加上醬汁
就是很常見的印度食物
我很喜歡那紅色的醬汁, 辣度剛剛好, 還帶微甜
配合印度薯片一起吃就是一絕

之後來的就是印式雞肉炒飯
以這個價錢來說, 炒飯的份量不太多
但卻很好吃
咖喱味相當入味
就像每粒飯都塗上了咖喱味
也不會顯得太濃
而且雞的質感也剛好
也給起了骨
整碟飯的感覺是非常好的炒飯
對得起這個價錢

這個特式瑪沙拉羊肉
盛載的器皿也相當精緻
那些醬汁也是很濃味
不過我認為略嫌濃了一點
即使是印度美食也太濃味了
幸好羊肉粒的數目也很多
起初我還以為不多, 原來是都被老婆仔吃了
羊肉沒有很膻, 不知是否被醬汁蓋過
但吃起來確是不錯

老婆仔說這是非常正宗
因為烤餅中間真的夾著一層芝士
所以單食烤餅也很好味
不過由於羊肉醬汁的味道也濃了
我們都用芝士烤餅沾著吃
也是不錯的配搭

不過老婆仔非常期待的青瓜乳酪卻有點兒失望
老婆仔還以為是乳酪
沒想到是充滿印度特色的乳酪
吃起來也有點辣味, 幾乎吃不出甜味
最後就交給我吃了
不過我認為也可以接受
同樣是味道有點濃
不過也有青瓜的清新中和一下
只要不把它當成甜品就可以了
用來沾烤餅吃或許是更好的選擇

幸好老婆仔十分喜歡這個芒果酸奶
她高度評價這飲料
事實上, 喝起來也感覺非常足料
我想真的是由新鮮芒果製成
芒果味道非常濃郁
而且沒有很酸, 甜度剛剛好
我認為絕對值得嘗試一下

這間餐廳有很多外國人到訪
聽到坐旁邊的食客說他到過印度也是吃類似的食物
所以來此用餐也可當作到訪異國吧
是和老婆仔吃得非常滿足的一晚

today my friend had a sudden crave for Indian food which reminded me of this restaurant that we went a year ago. this brought back memories of the succulent tandoori chicken we had last time. since our school is not far away, we decided to go there again. it was 1pm when we got there and the restaurant was half full. We ordered two set lunches: chicken korma (which was not on the menu but the staff kindly changed to a set of $75) and aloo lamb curry ($65). we also ordered a portion of garlic naa

today my friend had a sudden crave for Indian food which reminded me of this restaurant that we went a year ago. this brought back memories of the succulent tandoori chicken we had last time. since our school is not far away, we decided to go there again.

it was 1pm when we got there and the restaurant was half full. We ordered two set lunches: chicken korma (which was not on the menu but the staff kindly changed to a set of $75) and aloo lamb curry ($65). we also ordered a portion of garlic naan.

the set lunch comes with soup, salad and appetizer and the main course. the soup quickly arrived which made the both of us really happy as it was piping hot that helped us kill off the chill. the vegetable broth was flavoursome but not too strong.

then the starter arrived which was the salad and pakora (deep fried vegetables frittas). you can tell the pakoras are freshly fried as they are hot and crispy with the onions inside very juicy. they go really well with the sweet and spicy tamarind sauce that was served together.

the main course came when we were halfway through our starter (I'm talking about within 5 minutes of our order). we were happy since the both of us were famished. but we would have felt a bit rushed if we preferred a more relaxed lunch. The food was steaming hot like the soup. The portions look small at first sight but after the first bite, I stop complaining. The sauce of my lamb curry was so rich in flavour and the heat from it was just perfect which made it a perfect combination with the basmati rice or naan. My friend's chicken korma was just equally delicious with a milder and sweeter taste that comes from coconut milk (I think). it matches really well with the moist chicken breast pieces.

I had to mention garlic naan we ordered because it was so nice and crispy. the garlic wasn't overpowering. it was delicious by itself which doesn't need any curry to go with it.

apart from the good quality food, the staff were helpful and friendly. they can communicate in fluent English and Cantonese. last time, they even offered us some Indian sweets. the environment was cosy and has a home-feeling attached to it.

the bill came to around $90 each. I wouldn't argue it was on the higher end comparing to other local Chinese food. but when we took into account the environment, service and of course, the quality of the good, it was certainly money well spent.

some say company is more important than food, but good food can definitely make an experience twice as memorable

From the outside, the restaurant could almost pass for a local diner, but a few touches such as the beautiful lamps and drapery adds a touch of India to the place. The place is clean if nothing fancy, and we were seated comfortably in a corner close to the bar.The menu is easy to navigate, and speical mention was given to their specialty of Tandoori Leg of Lamb by a poster on the wall. The poppadums and onion bahji were served with a very green mint sauce and a sweet tamarind chutney. The bahji had nice batter but was a bit oily. The poppadoms were soggy, and probably made earlier in the day (and hopefully not longer). Another giveaway was the garlic on the naan bread which were dry and did not give out its expected aroma, so despite having a clay oven to produce fresh naan, it was slightly ruined by the topping

But aside from this, the rest of the food lived up to expectation. The chicken pakodas had a batter with coriander that went well with the meat. The lamb and oxtail were both done well, the meat was tender and the sauce flavoursome. The eggplant was surprisingly not oily and was a good vegetarian option. The clay oven churned out good naan bread that is worth returning for.

Understand it's not easy to make everything taste perfect in a restaurant. For me, if u find one signature dish that tastes very good among other places, u are already successful. This indian restaurant u definitely can find more than one signature dish.

Garlic nan bread i gave perfect score. The clay oven really does the great job. This bread is soft inside crispy thin crust on the bottom. Unlike the western style garlic bread, this one doesn't have a strong garlic flavor I expected. But i still enjoy it a lot. This is the best texture i've ever had in hong kong. Remember to eat it quick when it's hot!!!

According to the owner, they use lamb from New Zealnd n it won't have the strong smell. I don't eat lamb, but I can't admit he said it true! This is my 2nd time in my life to eat lamb n i m still not a big fan even though this is really a soft meat with no distinctive smell. If I need to grade this dish, it wouldn't b fair n not relevant. Instead, i ask my husband to do it. He loves lamb as he wouldn't mind to pick it as his starter... main course... n dessert..., he score 8 out of 10. I agreed!

Everytime when I visit indian restauarant I must try their local drink, Mango lassi - It is like a semi thick version of a milkshake, except it taste like a mixture of yougart and mango flavor. It has a bit of mango sourness n glady not too sweet.
The other one I would try is Indian tea. India produced lots of famous tea, such as Assam tea, Darjeeling tea, etc... Tonight I tried Masala tea - Similar to Hong Kong style milk tea, except it has no 苦澀味 n a very strong cinnamon aroma with a mixture of other spices n herbs... ... I drink varieties of tea, so i dont mind the mild bitterness come from spices. Dont finish the last few drops from the bottom, 有渣!!

Overall, the food taste great, we wouldn't mind come here again to try many other things we haven't been able to stuff it in our belly tonight.

After seeing so many smiley faces, I decided to try this restaurant. I tried 恆河咖喱屋 before, but this time, I were more impressed. First of all, the dishes proportion were bigger than expected. 1. Vegetable soap
This was a little bit oily, but the taste was excellent. It was not spicy at all. You felt the vegetables bites inside. It was such an enjoyment to have hot soup in winter!
2. Tandoori Chicken
I don't recommend this as the chicken was a bit dry. However, it was not spicy. It was just my personal preference that I love juicy, tender chicken.
2 different sauces available. I like the red one more, it was sweet, sour. The green one was a bit spicy, mint like.
3. Paratha
I love this crispy bread. Although it's a bit oily, it's so warm when it first came to the table. Must finish it as soon as possible with chicken sauce.
4. garlic nam
Not oily at all, a little bit harder though. It was a little tougher than paratha. It was also a good match with the chicken sauce.
5. Mango Lassi
Fruity, sweet! It would relieve the hotness on your tongue if you couldn't tolerate spicy food. Haha, good drink for ladies!
After you settled the bill, you would be met with a box of sweet. It's just like the candy box during Chinese Lunar New Year, I tried the star like hard candy. Glad that it was not too sweet.

I've never really ventured all the way to Kennedy Town before - Sheung Wan is really the farthest I've gone on the east side of HK Island. Thanks to the restaurant for the invite, I had a chance to check out this remote neighborhood and enjoy some good Indian food!I'm one of those people who hates calling so I made the reservation online. It was a cold night and I was looking forward to some spicy food! I could smell the restaurant a block away almost. The restaurant was colorful and ethnic with lots of paintings and lanterns. The decor was very typical in a way. As we had a reservation, we were seated right away. The restaurant was about half full on a week night. It started filling up as the night went on.

Pakora with Papadams (Free) - we were each given a pakora inside a papadam in the shape of a cone. The pakora consisted of bits of chicken and potato in a deep-fried batter. It was rich and yummy to eat as the outside was very crispy while the inside was soft due to the creaminess of the potatoes. The papadam was also nice and crispy, albeit not as spicy as the ones at Clay Pot. Two sauces were provided - the red was sweet while the green was mint-like.

Mango Lassi ($36) - one of the better mango lassi I've had! The drink was thick and rich while not being overly sweet. One of my favorite drinks when eating Indian food to combat the spiciness!

Butter Chicken ($79) - a very hearty dish! Made from tomatoes, butter, and cream, the sauce was rich, buttery and slightly spicy. The tandoori chicken itself was very delicious as it was juicy and succulent.

Ox Tail Vindaloo ($108) - I was asked if I wanted my vindaloo to be "properly spicy" or dialed down - to which I replied spicy please! Indeed it was! We wanted to try something different so instead of ordering our vindaloo with lamb, we went with the ox tail instead. The curry was good as it was hot and spicy with rich flavors of spices. We were too sure if the ox tail went well with the vindaloo. The ox tail was harder to eat and not as tender as lamb for example, but I still enjoyed it.

Garlic Naan ($25) - the garlic naan here was disappointing as it was way too dry. The garlic taste was not as strong as the ones at Aladdin's Mess either.

Paratha ($28) - the paratha looked delicate with thin layers stacked together. Unfortunately it was not as flavorful as I hoped it would be. It was quite bland actually.

Gulab Jamun ($36) - Indian desserts were never my cup of tea as I find them too sweet. J ended up ordering the gulab jamun though. The milk-based dumplings were piping hot! It was really sweet and tasted like condensed milk. The texture was nice and spongy.

When we got the check, a plate of sweets were placed in front of us. I was too full at that point so didn't try any. We were also not sure how this has been sitting outside.

Conclusion - on the whole, the curries here were excellent while the naans could use some improvement. The service was pretty good and attentive. The owner turned the lights up for me once he saw me taking pictures with my camera. How thoughtful! We were hightly intrigued by their tandoori lamb leg which requires advance notice as the portion is quite big. Seems like a great dish for a party or gathering! Hmm...maybe next time!

Note: don't be fooled by the name of the restasurant 深井咖喱寶. It is NOT in Sham-Tseng (深井), the restaurant is in Kennedy Town.

The restaurant was quite quiet for a Friday evening when we visited at around 9pm. It was quite airy which I liked.. I was delighted that I was not smell of curry when I left
. Quite a user-friendly menu with photos which I also liked.. useful for those with "decision-making-difficulty-disorder" like me

Let's start with the drink - Mango Lassi. It was a strategic move for me to order this yohurt-based drink. Yes, in preparation for the spicy food ahead (you see, dairy-based drinks help to ease the spice immensely). It was a refreshing drink and I am glad that it was not too thick. I could pick up the tropical mango aroma from the good balance of sweetness and sourness. Recommended!

Papadam was served as a complimetary starter as we waited for our food. The thin, crisp, disc-shaped papadum was sprinkled with chopped tomato, pasley, garlic and coriander. It was not oily at all and made me extra addicted to the simple, slightly roasted flavour. I only wished that they serve us one piece per person rather than having to share it with H.

For curries - we ordered Chicken Korma (the bottom bowl) and Rogan Josh (the top bowl). Chicken Korma would be perfect for those who cannot take spicy food. The sauce was a delicious coconut-based, almond and chestnut cream which was aromatic and packed with nutty fragrance; it paired very well with the tender chicken. Rogan Josh displayed much more depth (and it was much hotter as well) than the Chicken Korma. I was not surprised when I discovered that "Josh" of "Rogan Josh" means "heat, hot, boiling or passionate". The flavoursome curry was red in colour (as if it's on fire) and brought us exciting waves of chilies and garlic aroma. We were warmed up inside-out. Out of the two, I must say I enjoyed the Rogan Josh more despite the tough lamb chunks because of the beautiful complexity of the spices.

To go with our curry, we ordered the Garlic Nann (top right). I must say I was slightly disappointed.
The nann was not hot enough when served and slightly tough (would appreciate more puffy and fluffy ones). I could not really taste much of the garlic as well. The better take was the Paratha (top left); that was pipping hot and soft, and that is what it takes to pick up and soak up the curry goodness!
We also had a portion of Pullau Rice (bottom) (yes carbohydrate monsters we are haha), the rice was quite chewy with nice herbal fragrance. It went very well with the curries.

As I stepped out of the restaurant with the Rogan Josh aftertaste lingering in my mouth, I felt the cold breeze (it was quite chilly that night) and memories back from London struck me. I could still remember how ex-boyfriend and I popped across the street for some good curry fix....

羊肉已經炆了一段時間,入口鬆化,但這個羊肉不是散開的,還能夠保留一件件的樣子。
帶辣的醬汁,配上沒有「膻」味的羊肉,感覺和中式的羊肉很不同。
還有,bubeee叫了一碟Keema Nan碎肉餡餅(HKD$32),它的飽肚度相當高,而餡餅內的肉碎十分足料,十分抵吃!

小結:
是次來到The Clay Oven深井咖哩寶,發覺它的醬料十分蠻味,也是bubeee打算再去這店的原因。它家的食物份量很足料,而且味道很入味,但不算很辣,適合香港人的口味,但保留了印度菜的特色!最後,這家印度菜的價位合理,如果大家都想試試印度菜,這家深井咖哩寶值得大家一試唷。

This time I invited my friends, a local girl and a Netherlander to explore this exterrestrial place and get inspired with delicious indian food in this peaceful neighbourhood. It didn't disappoint me.

The Clay Oven did not look outstanding at the street, but its' certainly a very good choice to try authentic Indian food if you are living in that area. Clean, nice staff, food quality is good enough.

My favourite is Chicken Saag---- stew mix of spinach, onion, and chicken. It's not too oily with rich taste of onion, the chicken is well-cooked, amazing with rice or naan.<<<< Want to encore!

I like Masala Papadam too, its appetizer, fried crisps with spices and tomatoes. The sour refreshing taste from tomatoes and the spices match perfectly.

Mango Lassi there was smooth, a little bit sour than other restaurants.

Masala tea there you can prefer adding sugar yourself or not adding at all. It was being served hot in a tea pot. The tea here is a bit bitter, but by adding sugar the bitter taste diminishes and bring out the good part of the spice!

I ordered basmatic rice because it is one of the best rice I tried so far!!! Here it was mixed with spices too, good when served with curry


Overall, I had great experience with mis amigos there. Price is reasonable, food quality is guaranteed. I will try to visit its sister restaurants!

用料很足!! 每一匙都能盛載蘑菇

我們點了這道香燒馬友魚給她~~~
這道菜上菜時是用鐵板上的香味更濃~~~ 而且這條魚真的份量十足
經理還跟我們說
這魚就是那個早上在街巿新鮮買回來
魚是煎得剛剛熟, 因為魚皮都很薄很脆!!!
而且用筷子一挾就可以把皮和肉徹底分離了~

有咖喱汁沒有千層餅怎麼行~
我們點了千層餅呀~~
千層餅很大塊呢~~
而且是剛煎好就立即上桌
香噴噴, 熱辣辣, 很好吃!
而且它的麵粉拉得很有彈性
咬下去很有o趙頭, 不會是淋淋沒口感喔~
咸甜適中, 用來沾上剛才吃剩的咖喱汁就一點都沒浪費!

题外话/补充资料: 地方雖然不近mtr 站, 但乘巴士電車都方便。 店員全都非常熱情, 要用英語點餐。 餐牌的食物點了幾個味道都不錯, 肉類蔬菜都新鮮, 味道很合香港人口味 價錢方面合理, 是上小館子的價錢。

题外话/补充资料: 總括嚟講, 我覺得Clay Oven 都算食得過, 一嚟價錢唔貴, 二嚟職員都幾nice, 其實我朋友唔係好食得辣, 所以係落訂時, 都問經理可唔可以將個味就一就, 唔好咁重手, 經理竟然話無問題, 餸菜上到嚟味道真係啱啱好, 大家都食得好開

男店主先遞上免費的餐前小食----胡椒餅和炸洋蔥圈,並附上兩種紅綠燈的調味醬。綠色的薄荷香草醬,只沾少許已辣得非常,清涼爽辣的薄荷味由味蕾直攻上鼻孔,對於我們這類經常鼻敏感、鼻塞塞的人,確實通鼻塞、頓時醒腦提神之功效。至於紅色的甜酸汁,質感較稀,甜甜酸酸非常開胃,相信較為迎合香港人喜愛。

一塊塊圓椎形的胡椒餅,烘得香脆薄身,混入黑胡椒的脆餅,咸中帶點辛辣,就算不沾任何調味醬,光是吃著已是一道十分可口的餐前小食。至於炸洋蔥圈,配上特製燒汁成一粉漿,但炸漿略嫌太厚粉,失去應有外脆的感覺,但口感酸咪咪的,襯上洋蔥爽口的香氣,又是頗新鮮的配搭。

事前聲明,我媽媽是極度難招呼的人。印度人從不吃豬肉,但媽媽卻十分喜愛豬肉;相反,她又因家庭背景從不吃牛肉,亦怕羊肉的羊羶味,所以帶媽媽來吃印度菜確實是一具高度冒險又難挑戰的任務。幸好,看似沒選擇中仍有出路,這裏還有提供雞和魚類的菜色,而每一類也有六、七款的味道款式,因而解決了我和家姐的煩惱。

椰汁咖喱雞($78)
未食已嗅到濃濃的咖喱香氣,灑上椰絲作點綴,泥黃色的咖喱汁味道甜而不辣,椰香洋溢,加入印度的香葉,倍添香甜。

至於雞件切得較為大塊,肉質嫩滑而不嚡口,廚師特意把雞骨挑起,令雞塊滿咀是啖啖肉,惹味得連小妹也忍不住連皮也一起吞掉,肥就肥吧!

特汁香燒魚柳($85)
店主事前詢問過我們嚐辣的程度,但媽媽怕辣,我們就要求了比少辣更要少一些。魚柳端上桌,色水紅彤彤,心想一定辣到飛起來。誰知一吃原來只是用上紅燒汁去魚柳,店主說這道菜本應要加四條紅辣椒,但為了我們最後只加一隻,完全悉心思量我們的要求呢。

紅燒汁配上香料下鍋,魚柳沾上漿粉去燒,顯然落得太厚,感覺有點漿口。而香料亦下得太重,味道已掩蓋了魚的鮮味,有點失色。不過這樣反而吃不到令人可怕的魚腥味,口感嫩滑,正正是矛盾之處呢。

印度皇飯 Pullan Rice($32)
印度人主要以薄餅為澱粉質作主要的能量來源,但中國人始終以白飯為主,一道餐怎樣也是要叫個飯來吃才算飽肚,於是便叫了印度皇飯。當中不含任何肉類,只用上印度香料---薑黃,番紅花和紅蘿蔔絲去調味,十分適合素食主義者。來自印度長而幼身的米粒,炒出來不太軟,質感亦較乾身,粒粒分明,帶有一定的煙韌嚼勁,加上鮮黃色的色澤,味道亦很像平日在KFC所吃到的葡汁雞皇飯的葡汁,但味道較淡,感覺較為輕盈健康。

千層餅 Paratha($26)
千層餅是印度菜中最常見的一款,廚師採用傳統的泥烤爐所製作出來,份量也不少的,層層分明,根本不用夾子已輕易把千層餅一層一層分開,拿上手還是熱烘烘的;而且油膩感很低,手指也幾乎沾不上油份,吃下去帶有輕輕的麵粉香,甜甜的已十分討好,不過配上咖喱汁當然是頂級絕配呢!

芝士薄餅
來到印度餐廳,怎樣也要叫道地道美食,印度薄餅當然少不了。一客切開四件的芝士薄餅,十分工整,緣邊位微微脆口,同樣帶著輕輕的麵粉香,饀餅中的芝士呈半溶狀態,賣相十分吸引,不過芝士味太淡,薄餅亦不夠鬆軟,比起千層餅較為遜色一點。

替客人倒水的金色器皿,極像家中用來插花的花瓷瓶,只是顏色不同,很有印度特色。

埋單之前,男店主熱切地遞上具中國新年特色的紅色全盒,為飯後的客人清潔口腔中異味。內有像薰衣草乾一樣細小的香料粒,味道卻像八角一樣,只是吃一小粒已令口腔充滿刺激感,頓時清除了口腔中偏重的印度香料味。另外亦有像糖蓮子的白色碎糖、像冰糖一樣口感的透明糖珠和拖肥軟糖。
题外话/补充资料: 在享受這頓飯的過程,都深深受到店員的熱情款待,他們故意調高燈光方便我拍攝食物相片,又主動提出替我們一家拍照,男店主更操不順暢的廣東話和我們交談,哄得我媽媽哈哈大笑,歡喜不已。結果,整頓飯媽媽從沒抱怨一句,可謂我們今次的冒險挑戰成功!

到過幾次(包括姊妹店) 始終覺得這間位於西環的都是比較抵食兼keep住水準, 今次是特別為Tandoori Fish而來。  還記起上一次老闆介紹過這Tandoori Fish是選用南韓運來的馬友魚, 廚師要預早把魚用香料調味, 到有客人點菜時才會把魚從雪櫃裏拿出來並放入clay oven內燒烤。上檯時也能聽到鐵板是熱到滋滋作響 (因為接觸到魚底下的紫洋蔥、椰菜), 馬友魚的表皮被燒到微微起焦, 襯熱吱入隨碟跟上的檸檬, 據印度人的認為是有助「解熱氣」。魚要被燒到有這均勻膚色, 廚師對燒魚的專注度一定要很高。把魚皮撕開已可見到那雪白一樣的魚肉, 細細嫩嫩地放在眼前, 魚肉肉質細嫩鮮美而且帶有脂肪的油潤滋味, 但是當嚐過沾有香料的魚肉部份, 就會發覺魚肉是肥而不膩, 風味更濃。吃過燒烤物當然也要點一客青瓜乳酪來降熱氣, 酸咪咪味道清新宜人。最後, 懷念起某一年在酒店裏喝過的第一杯Masala Tea, 恰巧從餐牌裏發現這兒亦有賣, 毅然放棄了最喜歡的Gulab Jamun 而來一杯...要喝當然並非要求她似港式奶茶, 反而香料及糖的配合才是我著重的味覺, 個人覺得香料的部份是可以落重手。

把魚皮撕開已可見到那雪白一樣的魚肉, 細細嫩嫩地放在眼前, 魚肉肉質細嫩鮮美而且帶有脂肪的油潤滋味, 但是當嚐過沾有香料的魚肉部份, 就會發覺魚肉是肥而不膩, 風味更濃。
